Thanks for the reply Paddy. (Just back in and trying to catch up with the posts).
$25 Million?
I reckon a handful of LTH could club together and help finance that.
;0)
Spinrock,
Thanks for those document links.
I see that we have a forward looking cost statement:
9.1. Proposed program of work and expenditure to be undertaken to upgrade the status of the
deposit of minerals
The proposed program of work to be undertaken at the Havieron Project includes:
• Ongoing resource definition diamond drilling to provide data for resource delivery
• Additional infill diamond drilling to increase confidence level of resource to indicated status
• Geotechnical drilling
• Metallurgical sample collection and testing
• Environmental baseline data collection (flora, fauna, subterranean)
• Mining studies
• Infrastructure studies
The anticipated expenditure for the above listed programs and studies is estimated in excess of US$25M
for the next 12-24 months.
I would think it better thought of as a construction camp for those who'll build the mine infrastructure and the permanent camp. In my view Havieron has started the move into the mining stage; the pure exploration stage will soon be over.
Here's the link to the mining lease documents ...page 4 of supporting statement is the plan layout
https://geodocs.dmirs.wa.gov.au/Web/documentlist/8/ML_NUM/M45%2F1287
Possibly another exploration camp instead of a mining camp?
@sandgrounded - even though it's a new camp, it's still only a temporary camp. The main camp will eventually be situated in the far SE corner of the tenement. If you look in the details of the application it says the life expectancy is only 3 years.
ATB - Paddy
the new camp could have been situated anywhere, but it is being sited nearer to Scallywag. It makes sense for GGP, but it must make sense for Newcrest too. Another j/v lined up?
Thanks - seems logical.
As you point out Paddy, another STRONG positive indicator as to scale of the operation.
@Goldenl
Just had a quick measure and it's about 900m from the centre of the proposed camp to the centre of the current one. The current camp doesn't belong to Newcrest - it's a contracting company called https://www.rapidcamps.com.au/ than supplied it.
It's a mobile camp - I'm guessing if they are going to be exploring and digging for the next 3 years they want something a little more permanent and comfortable - just guessing??
Thanks Paddy and RA.
Do we know how far the proposed camp is from the existing one?
If being relocated, can we see why not just expand the existing?
Great work as always keep it going!
Nice one Paddy, some great Sunday evening reading ahead of another eventful week here !
All looking good.
Hi guys, who exactly is drilling in scallywag is it ggp , outside drilling experts or have ggp asked newcrest to drill on our behalf? Thanks in advance g
Well, that’s the deviation in the road explained...it’s a deviation round the camp. I hope it’s not an Aussie gold hunter moment when the gold was under the house(hut)and he wouldn’t move it. Anyone not seen that episode ,repeated last night, will need dry underwear after. Classic.
Regarding the decision to mine I found the rns:
https://polaris.brighterir.com/public/greatland_gold/news/rns/story/ow0156x
"145,530,000 Ordinary Shares will only occur if a bankable feasibility study is successfully completed and a decision to mine occurs at Havieron."
"In the event the Licence Area is the subject of a completed bankable feasibility study and the Purchaser makes a decision to mine, Greatland Gold PLC must issue, within thirty days after the date that decision to mine is made by the Purchaser, an additional 145,530,000 fully paid ordinary shares in Greatland Gold PLC to the Vendor."
ALB
PG hi,
Great find thank you. One thing I noticed is that the 2 plans are dated 29th July so they must have known they were to develop back then. Very promising to say the least.
That's great, Paddy.
Sewage treatment facilities, irrigation AND the relocation of the existing camp, to the West of the present site. Havieron is growing very quickly. (Beautiful plan on page 9 of the Supporting Document).
Also, these facilties will provide for 220 people. (Page 10 of the same document).
Draw your own conclusions, everyone.
Thanks Paddy, great detective work as usual, Greatland Gold Fields keep getting bigger, 50m thank you's.
This just echo's what i said about jpm and it was pushed aside.
Be warned
Hi Paddy do you or anyone else know at what point a "decision to mine" will be announced/confirmed and the 145,530,000 ordinary shares at 0.01p will be issued under the original Havieron acquisition agreement? ALB
Perhaps he may mention this tommorow in the cdfund investor presentation!?
Top work Paddy. Newcrest are full on in pushing this project based in all these little nuggets of evidence you unearth, licences , jobs, sewage works . And of course they make no bones about it in what they themselves say
It’s going to be an exciting few months. And it’s been good to see some healthy debate on the whole and interesting opinions and intel this weekend after last weeks madness
Thanks Paddy - so on this occasion this whole will be full of sh@t - plenty of other holes to be full of gold/copper. :0) ALVB
Thanks, Paddy.
Whether or not the mine infrastructure has started, it will be fascinating to see the developments, from the air, covering the Havieron licence blocks.
Around the same time, more drilling should be taking place at SW, PRE and BH. Perhaps GH could use Twitter to inform us, each time the drill(s) move to a new target!
