"It's as if Gervaise, Callum & Clive know what they're doing."
Hell yes they do, Tom.
The dream team.
Poppa dumb
Touché’ Paddy .. you would think that idiots like poppy would realise when they are showing up as fools, but hey they make good playthings for a wee while, then you filter them as they aren’t entertaining anymore ;-))
Yes JAMBO - read about Return On Capital Employed.
Thanks
While on the subject of balance sheets & debt, I remember watching through a presentation on the subject of debt on company balance sheets and impact on a company’s SP compared to a company with no debt.
The rule of thumb in the market is if the company who takes on debt which the market sees as positive ( rather than borrowing to just maintain itself) the market will calculate the expected return relative to the debt and factor that into the SP.
bottom line was that when comparing to companies with exactly the same product shares in issue and SP. the example explained how the company with new debt had a much higher SP
Getting the asset onto the balance sheet is also relative to NC as much as it is to GGP. Another reason they are moving at pace.
Exactly hydro - the options and warrants are pretty much financing this drill campaign on a monthly basis and as Bluetiger says we are only months away from being able to show an asset on the balance sheet.
Easiest hold ever for me IMO - hands under bum Paddy
I like a bit of banter - nearly 100 posts, he's doing well this time.....
Korma korma chameleon - Paddy just filter the eeejit
Stop it
Another for the bin. This fallenpoppadom obviously hasn't been following what's been going on here and to say that Paddy hasn't contributed anything is an absolute joke. You would probably be suited to another board, I'm sure you could find something more to your liking elsewhere.
walt, get round there and beat him with a naan bread..lol
Hi Investor - as a mineral exploration and extraction business any resources given formal assessment are assets - its why you get large increases in exploration share price because the maybe we have minerals - lets do sampling and drilling moves the low probability asset from RESOURCE through to becoming a RESERVE. As it becomes a RESERVE the geology work converts the 'maybe' question into a 'probably' answer. Probably is good enough for the minerals to be valued as an asset on the balance sheet and then financial instruments can be used to borrow against Lien over the asset or whole business.
Thats how it moves from not being on the balance sheet to becoming an asset on the balance sheet.
Thanks
Ah - so it's only Poppy to your close chums then, I'll bear that in mind in future.
Mick is fine too - I'm not bothered by a bit of casual racism....
Hi poppy - you may well be right but if any performance share options are issued then they should have a nice strike price of somewhere around 20-25p.
To make it worth their while to exercise them, we would hopefully see a much higher SP in 12 months time, I wouldn't be moaning if that were to transpire.
PS - Thanks for your concern about my fingers last night - they are still functional if a little blackened.....
ATB - Paddy
Bluetigeruk what makes you think you can bring the asset on to the balance sheet?
Just to add to Paddy - also once the MRE is made then the asset is verified and can be placed on the balance sheet - so it can then have debt issued against it - so it makes debt finance much easier to raise - even if it is short term 1 - 2 year stuff.
So HAV should become a balance sheet asset quite soon.
Money in the bank won't be an issue - GH has banked over £750K this week alone from the exercise of employee options and there are still plenty of in the money warrants to be converted. There's a nice steady stream of cash coming into the coffers to balance the outflows on exploration at the moment.
ATB - Paddy
Of the cash in bank are we ploughing through with all the what looks like extra drilling.
It looks like a lot but interestingly if we are emptying the coffers at a fast rate it can only mean GH is expecting the coffers will be replenished soon.
