Hi Tymers, I wasn't saying for anyone not to invest in GGP, far from it. I was just stating IMO why investors, especially anyone who bought in at low SP and may have large holdings, are probably not piling in.
If I was one of the investors who had only been into ggp since last September, then I would be ripping the kitchen sink out as we speak.
Spadesaspade. You invest and if you have money to invest you want a return irrelevant of what you have surely? I could say the opposite of retaining what you have is greedy rather than adding at such a discount.
I have added as have confidence my investment will grow simple.
Hi Tymers - I think a lot of the LTH and I include myself in that terminology, haven’t bought in at this level, because there is no point.
I have been thinking about buying more by maxing out this years 20k isa allowance in two accounts. But the more I think about it, I always think to myself what’s the point.
I have a rather large holding in GGP and let’s say I invest another 40k at 22p the SP hits 44p by the end of the year. Then in that scenario I would be 40k in profit.
But also if I just let the SP take care of itself & it gets to 44p, then the gain on my existing shares would be around £2M.
Why would I need to put another £40k on the line. That would be not only foolish but greedy as well.
I like many LTH’s are quite comfortable in the knowledge of where this is heading. I feel for the folk who are currently sat on a paper loss at the moment but things will change & in 24 months even 38.5p will be just a distant memory.
Rome wasn’t built in a day as the saying goes. Fortune will definitely favour the brave.

I would be buying more if i had available funds but being self employed and no grant from the government until the end of April and being low on work, times are hard. Oh to be furloughed!!!!!
Hoping for Eurasia Mining and Omega Diagnostics to come good so i can buy more GGP but that's like waiting for paint to dry and everything seems to be moving at slow motion unless you get any news remotely negative then as if by magic the share price immediately goes down....
Trying to stay positive!!
As the pound is high it is a good time to top up
Pretty obvious but not seen it mentioned here before.
Best regards,
Yellowstuff
Il be topping up next week. If its in a dip then great, but if not I will still top up, as I do this every month.
Tymers - To be frank over the last 3 weeks i've increased my holding by 300% in the 21.6 - 23p range.
I now have no more free cash until payday.
I don't believe its fair you calling out 'the believers' because they haven't bought today. In fact i'd consider it an attempt at a subtle deramp "oh look all the positive people aren't even putting money in, wonder why that is"
Doing my little, but adding nonetheless. Look at the facts which don’t lie and don’t change, they don’t need rampers or derampers they are what they are. Reasons to be investing and be happy
So at this bargain sp we have 4 including myself who have added? If this is the case ie the believers why would anyone else currently?
Coach, Man-from-Uruguay and Jerryspaniel Well done for adding at this sp
Tigra, how true. However, I’ve been sloping cash in here on all the dips. So have my 3 kids and my wife. It’s surprising how many are. I bought a car last year and was buying whilst the salesmen sorted the invoice. When he got back he was asking what I was up to. Needless to say he’s now a buyer and also some of his colleagues. Amazing how it spreads.
I used to measure my financial stability on how much I had in the Bank. All that change in or around March 2020 when I spent weeks on looking at Greatland Gold. I first bought in at £0.05 and left that investment for a few months without looking how it was doing as, I expected it would take some time to mature. I then began checking my share account every week and as the weeks moved on as it just kept advancing.
Because it was doing so well, I added more and more. Then in December 2020, the rout began, which I have to admit surprised me. That said, after all I had reread on this board, other like it and the company website, I felt I needed to call Greatland Golds offices, which I did and spoke to a lovely lady who gave me an hour of her time.
After the conversation ended, could not fathom out why the shares acceleration had stopped and why the price had fallen out of favour. I respond each and every week by adding more and more shares as the weeks move on. I will continue to do so, as now I measure my financial stability on how many shares I have in this great company.
I cannot help feeling sorry for those who believe they have to sell these shares but am buying what they do not want as I cannot see any reasonable reason why I should not.
Maybe I am daft - may be crazy at times However, I am a happy buyer and will continue to buy what others do not want.
Still just sitting, waiting for the end game. Multiples of the SP will be here in the future.
No nerves here either.
Have been adding while i had free cash, and now have almost four times as many shares as i had before we had this slump.
Nowhere near as big a holding as a lot of people, but a big holding for me
I think a fair few will be adding here in large amounts once EUA sell. I know I will. I am hoping it doesn’t move upwards too much before my cash frees up...but that’s just greed on my part.
Morning All
Paddy - No nerves here as you would expect. Also its good that its relatively quiet. That's what it should be in these lull times. Be patient, stay calm, have faith and believe in the sound fundamentals. No need to be on here everyday. Let the knowledgeable ones continue to enlighten (very grateful)
For those of you who can...take this opportunity to add. If you truly understand and believe in ggp its a no brainer. I have added 1.16m to an already decent holding since new year. But thats me. Each to their own.
Have faith and patience. 2 essential ingredients for being an investor...surely.

LTH here- not really posted here much. This is my second biggest holding after EUA. So will be bringing funds here after FSP....which I think a few others will to.
Lots to look forward too in the future here.
GLA.
20 range is an absolute bargain and the only impatience I have is with a punt on EUA and when their sale goes through, like a few others on there I will be buying more GGP. Just hope it concludes before NC finishes all their drilling .
When others fear be brave....sound familiar....
Another penny drops, it's another topup for mui....
Inline with my recent strategy...

I sold some in the mid-30s. Not many - was mostly sitting on hands. But have bought more than treble what I sold over the past two weeks. If this was good for buying at e.g. 33p then, when nothing much has changed, it's hard to see why this isn't a strong buy now.
6m.
Tymers I have added and back to 1M holding. Because of my natural caution I had sold at various intervals on the way up. Not all in the 30s some in the 20s and even the teens so I am not professing to have called it right it just suited my attitude to risk. However since the decline back to these levels it has allowed me a chance to increase. If I could muster the nerve as I have cash in the SIPP t0 do it I wish I was brave enough to take back to 1.5m shares. I just dont know if I have the bottle to be fair. GLA MFU
All in the same boat in the Patterson region
Antipa $0.0625 cents to 0.03cents AUD
Armetis $0.16 cents to 0.07cents AUD
As I stated and a LTH. I have added 1 million from new year.
I would be interested to know what plath's have added based on a low sp?
A few months ago I did get upset when the price and Scally results dropped, since then I have been buying in the low 22's. It's not short term that matters here, ( even though I would love £1 a share tomorrow ) it's over the next couple of years that we will see the benefits of holding this share! Yes I wish I had sold at 38p and bought back at 21.5 who wouldn't, but you have to be very luck to do that ! We all have a lot to look forward to in the next 12 months and more ! And £1 a share is not out of the question ..
No nerves here. I just wish I had more funds because with my luck it will
be back up next week when pay day comes around. I don’t invest in a stock because I want it to be exciting but because I can see long term potential. Can’t wait for the incoming news flow to crank up a notch though having said that. What we have is something very few will ever have and that is really exciting. GLA
