Magic should go for the job... ;)
I’d bet a pound or two that it will be.
Hydro: "Callum's massive coc& n balls is all I think about".
I can't really add to that but thought it was worth adding to the ggp.co.uk website?
With only one MM less than 13p on ask, NUMIS could very well find themselves top of the ask at 13.5p very shortly!
And our sp forcast as far as i understand does not include the copper
Copper price also continuing to move north.
The market's slowly picking up on this morning's job advert? Or maybe a strong gold price. Or maybe another Paterson JV for Antipa. Or maybe the possible divestment of NCM's SOLG stake...take yer pick
Thanks Schlemiel. Great research again!
hg - my pleasure mate though I'm hardly Sherlock Holmes, more Barratt Holmes. I'll get mi coat, slides away in shame at the truly dreadful joke
big buys coming in now fellas-lasses
@schlemiel thanks for a great post to wake up to this morning. Googling fifo rosters I'm guessing there'll be two people sharing this role.
The old eight days on site, six days at home (8/6) roster is the most generous and costly of the FIFO rosters. Workers work for 26 weeks per year (fewer if they take holidays). They require 26 return flights per annum each. The new roster would see workers work two weeks on site and one week at home (14/7).
Wrt why publish, if you think you may employ an expat (in UK) you have to advertise publicly as this would form part of your visa application, showing that you tried and that there were no applications or none that were suitable. Might work same in Oz.
@spudderman, LOL.
Yep, and 13 days this board will be on fire. It was exciting enough on the evening of the last NCM quarterly update, but this one could be mental.....
No decine location yet would also infer that the SW Cheese was targeting mineralisation, not sterilisation holes too.
Guess we find out in 13 days!
It’s starting though not a problem for LTH’s for which there are many!
"The fact that they are moving on this hire now suggests to me the decline is starting in the fourth quarter, not the third."
That's just because you take your time :)
Because they are still finding heaps of the yellow stuff...
@Paddy "that implies (to me at least) that it hasn't been designed yet."
And to me. The fact that they are moving on this hire now suggests to me the decline is starting in the fourth quarter, not the third. It also suggests it is starting this year, but maybe not until quite late in the year.
All interesting stuff, I guess at some point (with a beer or two in hand) there will be a meeting where someone says "Ok, lets go with that one, then".
Perhaps WF, it would make total sense for them to have sketched out some options but the description specifically mentions the candidate will be 'guiding' the design of the box-cut/decline - that implies (to me at least) that it hasn't been designed yet.
ATB - Paddy
Paddy -
That would certainly tie-in with the timetable that Gervaise has mentioned.
It may be because of the terrible problem, mentioned here before, that they keep finding more gold and copper.
I'm assuming that a Works Manager will be focused on the 'nuts and bolts' of the operation on the ground, as it were. Not so much the location and direction of the decline, that would be more of a geological type decision.
I would imagine they have developed a few options on location and design of decline(s), more from an internal forward planning and budgeting exercise?
I've just read the first line of the job description again -
"Seeking an Early Works Manager to guide the design, tendering, and construction of a box-cut and exploration decline and the associated surface infrastructure for the Havieron Project."
design, tendering and construction - surely that means they are only now looking at the design and positioning of the box-cut/decline? This suggests to me that they still haven't 100% got the location nailed down and they are just at the start of the process IMO.
They could be referring to the high grade sulphide target as the priority over the breccia,or they could be referring to other targets in the havarion licence that form part of the tenement blocks
They also have other farm in agreements around Telfer, could just as easily be the secondaries. SB can't count on Scally just yet, but there is the lonely hols to the north that could do with a bit of company!
