Thanks - I’ll give them a good look at.
@SeagullsFan - If you want to learn more about the company, visit the company website and ggphelp. Both are good starting points and will help you with a better overview of your investment.

I accept it was probably not the best way to get started on this board, but I appreciate the responses. As stated earlier, I did 2 lots of purchases (i gave the prices/quantities before they would have appeared so they could be proven). I also doubled that with another 50k shares end of day.
I’ll be following on here and looking to get to learn more about the company, but there were a lot of enthusiastic comments on the presentation thread today, which gave me confidence that this was a sound investment. I also feel that I’ve got in at a relatively cheap price, and will look to add over the next few days/weeks.
@hydrogen
Without wishing to be accused of ramping again, over the weekend I’d been reading some of your posts in the MTR board, hence me ending up here. I’d been looking to cash in some non-performing shares and re-invest (which I did today), and have also now invested in MTR too. Bought at 50k @ 32p, which if I’d had spare cash on Mon am would have been a lot cheaper - life eh!.
SeagullsFan welcome on board and good luck with your investment. GGP seems a good long term hold not a get rich quick. I think it is a good thing we are down here (short term) as it allowed me and you and many others to take advantage of the drop. I think this is a safer bet than HE1 but I am also in there although not for as much. Lets hope they find the equivalent of a Tier 1 gold mine whatever that is in Helium terms.
Ok and tbf it did rise , wish i had got in now but you know what i meant
See , someone slated for mentioning another share ! When hydro does it its ok omg
Who knows why the GGP SP has not progressed with all the positives there are.
I don't really see the end game from the numerous theories relating to price manipulation, dirty tricks, Banks and gold price movements/shorting etc, takeovers and many others put forward on this board. No one has convinced me that a true logical reason exists to account for the fall.
At least the SP is holding up at around 20p and any attempts to take it lower appear to be soon rectified by topping up actions of both LTHs and STHs. I don't really see that day trading is currently affecting the SP all that much with the low turnover and generally small average quantities/value traded. Even to try and profit by day trading this share is currently not enough to turn a regular profit I would think but maybe wrong.
If the SP were being manipulated whoever it was would probably take it down a lot lower just to spite me but I would obviously not hold enough clout for that to happen.
The fact that we are on Aim could adversely affect the GB Financial Press that results in the popularity of GGP and its achievements not being properly reported because most mainstream columnists/advisors will not touch Aim with a barge pole except for short mentions of the occasional success. When there are negatives to report like todays 'Daily Mail' half page piece on Rio blowing up the Australia's Indiginous Peoples historic/sacred caves, thats different. Rio are now struggling in Australia and its not reflecting well on all other miners/explorers there. And really it's not new news.
There could be some temporary collusion with institutional or very large buyers at low (mates rates) prices in recent past times going on and the nod and wink happening (like an undisclosed private market resulting in large quantities of GGP shares coming up for sale). It might therefore surprise a few investors on here as to who at what levels were involved if something like that was happening.
The one thing that keeps me going is the apparent surefire end game where GGP /Havieron (and NCM) will ultimately achieve their goals in value that their case/work deserves. All investors know this will happen.
The icing on the cake will be any other Tier 1 discoveries GGP make in the meantime which could take us to the top in the future.
The time is coming very soon in terms of mining/exploration success timescales.
Keep the faith and GLA.
Seagulls, I will give you the benefit of the doubt as you might be a neighbour! Trouble is we have had too many people who fit your description (just over 100 posts, headline negative, spin something mildly positive and then talk up another company).
Sentiment comes and goes and so does newsflow. In the past four months the sentiment (with gold and scally news) turned and there was no other news.
Gold has turned, news is going to be constant for next 6 months and a seller is being worked off. There is so much news available if you look on the GGP and NC websites and the ggphelp site. Over to you. 50k shares is a nice start. Good luck.
"because I think it's very safe, rather than high risk /high reward."
The good thing about GGP for me is I have 100% confidence in ggp/newcrest and hav which allows me to invest big (big relative to my own wealth), turning a safe investment into high reward
Personally I've got 15% of my portfolio in GGP (and a little SVE) because I think it's very safe, rather than high risk /high reward.
Just added 2 lots of 25k. 1 lot @ 20.997 and 2nd lot @ 21.12.
Hi Mercedesman
only £1.00 price
;-))
Cheers
well when you factor in the effect inflation will have on Gold price, you actually get nearer £3, so..........yeh, should bode well for GGP
@mercedesman
Thanks for the reply - appreciate the info.
I guess with the 'risk' of inflation in the world increasing , that can only bode well for the SP too then.
Again, I've already apologised for giving that impression. A number of my shares have come from tips posted on other share chats. I can see how it could be interpreted that was. I've ended up here due to a post by @hydrogen on the MTR board.
Gold dropped, its now flying
Over reaction from a separate drill result that had no tangible effect on GGP's T1 find at Havieron
Long gap (3mths) with no meaningful news, now we have the mine decline being developed, upgraded MRE coming, Pre feasibility study coming, drill results from Outamind coming, and drill results from Goliath coming, both bigger targets than the current £2 billion find at havieron.
Expect £1 here before HE1
; )
LOL.... no, it was a classic ramp!
Ask a question designed to highlight a perceived negative, then promote another stock and claim it will go to £1.
Born yesterday, NOT.
@Spymaster25
Sorry, no offence meant (and was not trying to ramp).
It was meant as a genuine question in regards I can see most are positive, but wondered why it was down so much that's all.
you ask for the potential here then ramp away a stock that is 21p that might go to £1.00...flol
Hi - potential newbie here.
Looking to invest in GGP as I saw it mentioned on MTR. So, what I am missing here?
I've read quite a lot of the recent comments and, they are mainly positive. However , the SP is quite a way off highs from Jan, so is there any reason for that?
For those who may be interested, another investment opportunity (I expect it's already been mentioned here anyway) is HE1. Drilling for Helium in the rift valley - drill starts early June and potential is huge. Current SP is about 21p and feeling is with positive drill, could easily reach £1. Usual caveats of course - DYOR :)
