So long as were this link to be proven, and NC wanted it under the 'first refusal scenario', they pay us for 100% of the value of Scally and not just 30% as per the outstanding on Hav (hence my initial question).
Just to clarify. Do NC have a first right of refusal on Scallywag ?
Apples, ooh I think I am quite prepared to imagine a very high price. How many figures?.....
Interestingly a person on twitter known as Alkington has also noticed two additional holes in the NE quadrant, which would bring total of new holes/sites prep for drilling to 8..so potentially each rig is now 24/7 in use. IMO

Good luck all
MattyBoy.....Just a thought.
If Scally and Hav WERE proven to be connected to each other how does that change the current arrangement with NC if at all?
======
Well they could still buy out Scally as a seperate entity. It is just like drawing up the boundaries. This is just normal procedure when ore bodies encroach onto neighbouring tenements. What's this side of the boundary line is yours but across the line is theirs. However, in our case i am sure Newcrest would simply join up both licences and draw up a new agreement either to work it as a JV or simply buy out the whole lot. If that did happen surely they would excercise 'first refusal' and buy out the rest of Paterson. Would be a huge price to pay and an sp higher than any of us could imagine? Imo of course!
Just a reminder of the farm in agreement:
Additionally, during the farm-in period, Newcrest will have a first right of refusal over the remainder of Greatland's Paterson project (Black Hills, Paterson Range East and remaining areas of Havieron licence).
So I guess NC have until the end of Stage 4 to make a play unless another player game in with an offer and then NC would have the right of first refusal. One would have thought the quicker that NC make an offer then the more advantageous the terms for them. Quite the game of chess could start to unfold when Scallywag exploration gets under way.
Given the proximity of the Telfer process plant it would be extremely surprising if an NC offer could be bettered but nice if there was another interested party to raise the stakes.
Very much looking forward to the end of April update!

Matty - shouldn't affect the terms of the farm-in at all IMO. It's quite clear that NCM have certain milestones to hit to earn their percentages at Havieron and it's also clear that they have the right of first refusal on all GGP licences in the Paterson.
I already think NCM are serious about Havieron being the future for Telfer but if (and it's a big IF) they are proven to be part of the same system then it will probably force their hand sooner rather than later.
That is my exact thoughts from a few days ago and reinforced this morning .. not beyond the realms of feasibility as they overlap .. but if they were it would be a WOW ! F *** in Hell moment !
Just a thought.
If Scally and Hav WERE proven to be connected to each other how does that change the current arrangement with NC if at all?
@olderandwiser - Vertical 200km of drill cores ain't unusual to get to a MRE. Remember the best part of half a kilometre in every drill hole is getting through the surface dross. The next 5,6,700m and beyond is where it gets interesting.
200km? Blimey, GGP could buy up an entire European country's GDP with that anomaly!
I've one word for today's satellite image - speechless!
The new holes, so many of them and a ridiculous cluster in the south-west even further out than the original "Emental Cheese". I nearly missed half of the new activity cos I didn't zoom out enough.
My dream is a decline south west of the Havieron horse-shoe and then two sets of underground operations run off it - one block caving the HAV horseshoe; and the other an underground operation along all the sweetspots on the magnetic anomoly all the way to Scallywag.
Just need another 200km of good drilling cores to make that particular dream come true....
Thankyou Paddy once again.
Your time and effort is greatly appreciated.
Thanks all the other contributors.
So much material for me to go through this afternoon....at my very slow limited pace
Exciting times . When there is very little to be excited about. And I thank you All for that
Stay Safe
Regards
Coach
Cheers Paddy (again)
How many holes will be reported on the 30th I wonder?
With all this activity we are seeing surely got to be well into double figures ( I’m hoping) .
Gives me something to look forward to in these bleak times.
The amount of gardening and power washing the wife is making me do I need something special to lighten my mood.

Oldtimer, Stop teasing us!! its incomprehensible.
Could they be prepping new pads for the two rigs that Chartbuster heard about on the 24th March, when Newmont ere stopped from drilling ar Tanamai. The word then was that the two rigs were heading to Havieron. That would then give us ten rigs, one heck of an operation!!!
And here's one which shows where it lines up with the Artemis geomagnetic data - especially for Oldtimer.

OK - that's me done for a while, catch up with your thoughts a little later - Paddy
OK - I've mapped the new pads / sites from today's Sat image and here's a screenshot of them with the image of the current drilling to give you an idea of how far all this new activity is from the known area.
https://ibb.co/WGbL6VH
As Chartbuster said earlier - I get the feeling that Havieron has just gotten a lot bigger.
GLA - Paddy
I can see the ground disturbance that Chart is referring too OK - looks like it may well be a pad being prepared - the sump liner has not been added yet so it doesn't stand out as a black blob yet - keep an eye on it over the next few weeks.
Looks to me like they are going to either need a few more drill rigs or the ones that have been camped on pads doing the "fan" drilling will be moving soon as they seem to be preparing a lot of pads in the last couple of updates.
ATB - Paddy
Which would incidentally mean 8 new pads, with 8 rigs...
Chart, I think there might be 2 new pads there, image is a bit blurry.
MH
Paddy mate have a look at the Eastern most track that runs N-S.
a drill pad has appeared just below the Orange sand blob that itself sit below the dune ridge.
its the equal Eastern most hole so far.
Cheers
CB
OK guys - here's what I've picked up from looking at the previous & today's.
https://twitter.com/paddygall1/status/1246737073266135040?s=20
I couldn't see anything new in the centre or the NE (as CB thought he saw) but that S/SW area in getting a lot of new attention.
The tracks over the dune have become a lot more defined so I'd say a lot more traffic has been heading down there.
ATB - Paddy
Can’t wait to read everyone’s thoughts on this board today. This could be a mega month for this share. Next Newcrest report will be very interesting. Have a good day everyone
Morning CB PG OT SCH,
Looking at some exciting Holes is certainly good for the spirits in these troubling times...
Thanks for the new works this am PG..
Stay well
