Great post as always tig. Being from n. Yorks - I put a couple of quid in... What turned out to be a pit. But this is gold!
Cheers StellaBob
We all like to hypothesize and dream.
As yet, the hard measurements are yet to be independently established. Havieron is worth nothing if no-one digs the gold out of the ground. I was a SXX holder in a big way, and planned to ride the train until they extracted the Polyhalite, - and the share price would have taken SXX into the Footsie 100 . I would have been rich. Fraser blew me to pieces, and Anglo Am will now sit on their cheap , but well known value asset , in the ground until it suits them to collect their rewards.
Despite the fact that we all more or less know there is a lot of gold in havieron, we do not know how much. Next week we may get some guidance. I have rarely known any company ( or 2 ) where the CEOs wax lyrical about the potential, where all of the known assay results indicate a huge resource, - but as yet we do not know that it will be mined.
Research indicates what a resource of this ??? 10 / 20 / 30 / 50 / ???? might be roughly worth to buy on the open market , and we can all do enthusiastic calculations -60% / 70% / 75% . Realistic values will give us 25p plus and probably a lot more, but that will only happen based on hard data. I am patient and will wait for nthe CEOs to sort out the next steps.
And of course there is then Scally and Blackhills and Tasmania, and............. They are all still awaiting fertilisation. That is the massive potential value of GGP still to be released.
But we aint that far off having some good hard info that will provide a real SP uplift.
My bet is that NCM will soon do a very good deal ( cash ) with GH for Havieron, - possibly some gentlemans agreement on Scally if it becomes Hav. 2; we will all remain GGP shareholders , and go through all of this agony again over the next 2 years , before we become trillionaires. GH will do a special divi to his loyal band whilst retaining enough cash in the company to cover the next few years exploration.
I will not be complaining.

"On completion, the Fimiston Open Pit will measure 3.5 km in length, 1.5 km in width and up to 700 metres in depth. " From www.superpit.com.au › About
It has been in production since 1893. In 1903 there were ave grades of 41.3g/t. Between 1893 and 2013 they produced 351 Mt @5.5g/t from Golden Mile and 42.6 Mt @ 3.8g/t from Mt Charlotte. 850,000oz per year. (Vielreicher, NM et al, The Giant Kalgoorie Goldfield Revisited, Geoscience Frontiers, 2016, vol 7, no 3, pg 359-374)
The Newmont Annual Report states that 456,000oz in 2019.
Hav, according to GGP website, 1000m X 1000m anomaly. Depth is 400m to below 1400m...
But the steps out……? WooWee… Long way to go to reach 3500m width...
Still a long way to go to reach Kalgoorlie, depending on the average grades. Magic / Hydrogen? Help?
That is quite a leap. Remember the early Kalgoorlie grades 41g/t. Telfer 0.98, so 10X = 9.8g/t, but we don't know overall average for HGZ and Breccia. Bring on the MRE. Come on, baby!
Tig thank you for this. I never doubted you. Always genuine. Look forward to meeting and celebrating !ATB Panama
I'm inclined to agree JS.
Imagine what a further 80km will give us. Newcrest do not commit to that amount of drilling for the fun of it.
Nice to see PI's hold a huge chunk of this but personally, I don't see any hostile takeover any time soon. I think Newcrest will take a view once PFS complete but happy to be wrong if the price is right
And the biggest I have been able to measure, with some help, is 1200 x 350 x 1000 and there are plenty of unproven assumptions in those dimensions! Wednesday will tell us a bit more and hopefully will expand on what NC has admitted so far. Personally I think the depth could be deeper than 1000 under the cover.
Panama - correct that it was me who relayed ( and only relayed ) info that I was genuinely given by a very good friend, with a connected brother in W. Oz. I cannot certify total accuracy in any way, but be assured that it was not concocted. My faith, and a very significant shareholding in GGP is such that I do not need to exaggerate any facts at all. I trust that forthcoming asssay results will underline the immensity of the deposit.

"What would be classed as a low ball offer, 20/30or 40p or more ?"
If Hav is 70 moz, Mickey's a deramper at 74p, LOL.
What would be classed as a low ball offer, 20/30or 40p or more ? I don't have an exit price in my head yet....
Jerry, thanks, that puts it into perspective. I thought around 50 but I was way out. That actually makes 30 seem a lot more feasible!
Hi Dimvestor I believe it was Tig and I do believe it was genuinely thought to be the case. Damn well hoping so!:-) GLA
Kalgoorlie is 70m ozs
panama,
To change the thread. I believe it was Stout who offered some comment from a friend / contact working at Hav. Apart from the earthmoving machinery mobilisation story there was a comment that the deposit was bigger than Kalgoorie. Make of it what you will. Time will tell . . . . and the interim results next week!
