I wish people in UK had benefitted from mineral rights.
I am pleased for those in Oz benefiting.
Hi Tig, you are stealing my thunder, thats my minimum calculation done some time ago, i think its much more but time will tell. Have a nice weekend. Ciao DM
Tig, so long as it doesn't translate to "long-lost Vermeer" I shall lose no sleep!
Personally I think it fitting that the Martu are recognised, I also think it fitting that they should be given substantially more than has been promised... substantially more!
To finish,
Newcrest is the immortal
GGP is the wine.
That's not really how language works, but if you're happy I'm happy.
Q
@@@Quatermass......I like and prefer Karlajartu.
Do not lose any sleep over it
Tig
50moz????? Christ Tigger, let us get to 20 first! (ROFL emoji)
...or to put it another way, Tigger: "Look Andrew, I am not grinning from ear to ear in all of my presentations and discussions on Proactive Investor for nothing. I know what's coming and my 25p options are in the bag. Gday!"
Karlajartu is the portal.
Havieron is the mine.

Alistair Ford writes some brilliant stuff on Karlajartu, and almost certainly he has the usual commentaters / writers caution.
And similar write ups from other journos and brokers , all enthusiastic but reserved / cautious.
Not a negative word.
They have all had the benefits of reading and digesting the erudite calculations of our own resident ( unnamed ) geniuses / genii ?? who also exercise similar caution in arriving at astronomically massive conclusions.
So WHY ???? is the SP so laggardly unresponsive when we ( on the LSE Board ) all know that we have a 50m.oz top global deposit .
But I am still patient. Lots more core results on the way ( every one a winner ). POG still on the rise. CU in huge demand and rising in price. An incline practically grabbing sample shovelfuls even before we find out whether NCM are actually going to apply for permission to mine. ( now that would be a shock if the decided not to ).
Lots more Karlajartus on the horizon.
Oh for the sunlit uplands.
Tig
Nicely put MH - thanks!!
Freddie perhaps you need to listen closely to what Alistair said. So many short term SP moaning statements day after day here. Alistair explains it well. Final point, it is better to be early to the party than to arrive 3am and everybody is leaving. We are here early, before the major institutional investor arrive. that is smart on our behalf, for when the big money arrives looking for shares boom, off to the races. This could include the likes of GDX if we qualify one day, and other large ETFs that have to add us to their holdings. think of it as effectively 'front running the II's'. we just need to wait until this officially becomes a mine and then see where the SP lands, a few bags from today's price that's for sure !!
Freddie
Its Friday.. can you at least try and be a little more cheerful?
You never know, you might enjoy it..
have a great weekend all, here's to a positive moment in the SP next week
Thanks Dip - very heart warming!! Have a great weekend!!
Still ended the day at 18.4 even with all the optimism
You too Nap, I'm all for looking at something from all angles but pretty obvious what is going on with some less helpful posters trying to rattle people mate :-)
Very very good Dipp666
Have a great weekend mate
Some key points from Alistair Ford:
- News flow around GGP getting more and more intense
- Continues to intersect gold outside of the previously envisaged mining area
- Looks like Havieron is going to become much much bigger than it already is and as we know it is already pretty big
- Certainly people in quite serious roles, analysts in the city etc. are beginning to speculate that this discovery may be one of the biggest gold discoveries of recent decades
- Probably not too long now before this discovery actually starts getting mined because NCM is digging a deep decline down into the resource, aiming to go right to the top of the resource with this decline
- Although actual decision to mine has not yet been made, the actual dimensions of the decline which have been dug are such that it will be possible to mine once the decision to mine is made.
- Pretty clear what NCM is thinking in digging this decline, I think the market can look at a decision to mine with a decent amount of optimism.
- The thing about these grades is the grades are strong but what is really spectacular about Havieron is the length of the intersects (correlating to really really large amounts of tonnage )
- Gold grade is very good but it exists across such huge intercepts that the amount of gold in the ground there, the tonnage is just going to turn out to be immense
- In terms of disconnect with share price and potential value of resource - the opportunity here is taking a view on how much gold there might be in the ground vs how much currently reported and whether or not you believe this will become a mine.
- If investors are optimistic on both of these factors (above) then GGP might be worth a look.
Says is as it is, great interview :)
Very good watch, Ford was clear, bringing good news without being sensational.
Nobody has used the word Bonanza yet... 'something that suddenly produces large profits or great opportunities'.
He makes it clear that Greatland Gold, after years of good news, has has never been in a better position than now.
That will do me nicely.
Yellowstuff
My thanks also for sharing this Dip666. Very exciting times ahead for all invested.
I think that I can safely say that most of us agree and have known all this for some time now.
As for the markets, well, as GH often said, they often also just "don't get it"
"Maybe one of the biggest gold discoveries of recent decades"
"Really, really, large amounts of tonnage" across such huge intercepts that the tonnage will be immense!
Many thanks for sharing Dip666!
"Intense, more & more intense"!!
No surprise from Alastair Ford, who know's what he's talking about and has my respect, and has had for years now with regards Greatland Gold!
