Agoodpunt one look at your past posts tells me all I need to know..and that is to Filter you...recommend everyone does the same. So sorry you are just looser.
Agree they were both buys hence the upward momentum. No further comment required.
@agoodpunt
“they are clear sells why you cannot say what it is clown“
Looking at the bid/ask at the time the trades were executed, the two 1.5 million trades were definitely BUYS. This is supported by the upward momentum of the SP following the trades.
That red nose suits you I must say ; )
Archways yup maybe Bisgood ,County Nat West posted to Tokyo in 90,back in 95 then NY 96 onward. so we definitely crossed.
they are clear sells why you cannot say what it is clown
Showing as sells on here
Look's like someone knew something at 8.03 and 8.23, nice buys.
Hi MDC1. Yes, I was a broker but I was only a dealer between 1986 and about the mid-90s, so it might have been that my past experience is now out of date.
I wonder whether we ever "met" over the phone while you were a market maker. We were Pope 572.
HopefullyGold - Not sure that you should be too harsh on yourself. The definition is misleading "EMS or exchange market size is the minimum number of shares that a market maker is obliged to quote a firm two way price on the trading system"
This would suggest that a market maker is obliged to quote for a quantity of shares which is greater than the minimum.
In my view, bad use of language.
Might be better phrased as "the quantity of shares under which a market maker is obliged to quote a firm two way price on the trading system"
I'm sure that I'll get the grammar/thesaurus/english geeks coming after me for posting this.

Hopefully Gold re yours at 15.04. You say that Normal Market Size is the minimum number of shares that a market maker is obliged to deal in. I would have expressed it as the maximum number of shares that the market maker is OBLIGED to deal in.
This is my understanding of the position (if someone thinks that I am wrong, please say so) - if someone wants to deal in a number of shares less than the NMS the market maker is obliged to deal in that number at the price he is quoting or better. If someone wants to deal in a greater number of shares than the NMS then the market maker can either accept the order, or quote a higher buying price and/or lower selling price for the whole of the order, or turn down the opportunity to deal. The market maker is not obliged to deal in a larger number of shares than the NMS.
And we love you that way Obs...stay as you are...it's all the rest I worry about!!:-)
Ie with Elon's help.....off to infinity and beyond!!
Damn right Obs...damn right!:-)

Observer welcome back and glad you are OK. We have missed you!:-) I
f you will permit me to interpret....you are saying that ole GH is right when he says we are only scratching the surface...and though our SP is hindered by lack of obvious findings (Stu's MRE to come).....that's when all the non-believers will click and the SP will shoot up where it belongs!!
Forgive me if I misinterpreted! But if that's what you mean...then bring it on!!!
ATB
Now - that's more like it :-)))))
Hi Observer - sorry to hear you haven't been well, I hope you are feeling better now. It has been a phenomenal 6-8 months here in the good ship GGP and remember as the captain himself says we are only at the beginning of the journey.

Hi TomE
I have a chartered accountant that deals with my tax returns and is also invested in Greatland with far larger amounts than me. His brother is a market maker for Deutsche Bank.
The ems for Greatland is currently 200000 shares. That is the minimum amount of shares the MM's are obliged to trade when filling orders to be bought and sold. That is my understanding. There are others on this forum i.e. Jerryspaniel, Hydrogen and co far more familiar in the dealings of stock markets that maybe would like to comment.
I'm fine with people that choose not to believe in MM signals but there is no doubt they can manipulate the SP irrespective what's going on the ground and possibly the reason why the SP is being held back imo.

Hi Observer78 - very disappointed with that post - not one cryptic clue or statement in there, far too straightforward for my liking lol :-)))

HFG hi, am I missing your point ?
Sorry I have no clue why you posted the list of MM signals ??????? has no relevance to my question at all. Most on our board pay no attention to these signals.
15. 0 - I didn't buy any shares
16. 99 - I'm having an ice-cream at the moment
17. 147 - I'm purchasing once the snooker has finished
18. 666 - Satan told me to sell
19 . 999 - UK Version of 911 code
etc etc etc
I really don't think the MM use those any more plus anyone can run them to be fair ( at a small cost)
Can I ask, what's the cash position like here and do you think there could be another fund raise? As I note the appointmeent of joint brokers and you know what that often means...
I see they have been using their block listing authority to raise some capital a few times
Thanks
I wouldnt read too much into these MM signals. I,m not so sure they exist.
