In the artemis thread @hopefullygold refered to an old interview with Lenigas. Seeing it againg made we aware again how GGP is (still) depending on retail...
Worldwide there are a lot of thing happening, but retailers mostly aren t as organised in their positioning as institutional money and to use a populair expression. Their hands sometimes are a little weaker ( for example they have bills to pay with that same money ).
The most likely way is a big leg up, but it will not be a straight line...In my modest opinion. I believe the only logical thing to do is to load up as much as you feel comfortable with... But we might see some downworth preassure in between.
And yes I planned to buy more the following months, regardless of the dayprice.
The illusion of perfect timing or understanding the relation between goldprice/ggp/worldwide market / hedging needs of institutionalmoney /BASEL3 etc..... will not be mine... It will probably take my entire life to even scratch the surface... Probably I ll not be hanging out on a board but probably will safe all people of this planet from being poor...
What I do know, I LIKE THIS STOCK, I like the plan, I like the execution of it, I like the people working there, I like the JV Newcrest, I like the way it s kind of derisked, I like the jurisdiction m I like that they still see so much upside potential, and I love it seems they are planning to surprise us every time... And even more things to like but I ll not bore you with all.
Even today when I look at the remarks of @reddirt @paddygall @hydro today who seem to be kind of pathfinders on our way.
The other thing that came up to me was... In the past Newcrest presentation seem to mention Red Chris first and more detailled... Now Havieron seems to become the eyecatcher...
But he, it s just an opinion... everybody has one... Be well, But it seems Havieron isn t all that s waiting for us with this great JV partner and they are shifting gears.
Thanks dip . And perhaps said kettle had a hairline crack in it and was seaping a bit perhaps sd will get his rods out soon cheers
It's not just GGP though Freddie, many of our peers are down, however at least the fundamentals keep getting stronger so that when sentiment does return, we'll have a stronger case amongst similar peers to regain interest. Also, so many PI's are now looking for the 'next GGP', how often do you see that phrase on other boards?
They want to load up on a stock at very low prices to then enjoy the growth GGP did in 2020, it is far harder to visualise GGP ten bagging in short term vs an explorer finding their own Havieron to them. What has happened here (and still developing) is one of the biggest discoveries in many many years, we got extremely lucky and most of those explorers are still in essence firing blanks.
This is now a different kind of investment proposition with less risk, less explosive growth perhaps due to the reduced risk but we have just as much a chance of another discovery as the other hopefuls IMO. As Shaun has said, a quarter or half Hav will be more than enough to add value to share holders and Hav itself is far from fully explored, they are going to continue exploration in parallel with production through the years.
Look at Newcrest's presentation title too - Delivering Value through Exploration.
Especially a loaded kettle. Takes longer to heat up :-)
The kettle always boils eventually Freddie ...
Just never when you’re watching it !
....and the Monkey Messers doing their own thing looking after themselves
Stop losses beware. You know how the game is played.
Lack of patience from investors probably Freddie.

Loads of optimism to go with loads of sells???
Once again a lot of optimism , so why are we sitting at exactly half the sp of january , can anyone just answer that question straightforwardly ( if that a word ) ha ha . It just doesnt make sense
Straight from the Irish Gentleman's horses mouth .. thumbs up !
I wouldn't stress too much - the pressure is building up nicely. All this will be getting taken on board by the big hitters and when the PFS and eventual decision to mine is formally announced then we will see them lining up to take big positions in GGP IMO. So you either sit tight and wait for the inevitable or take your cash out and go play with it somewhere else.
Enjoy the day folks and don't sit here arguing with each other all day long - life is too short.
Cheers - Paddy
As the others have said, you've actually scored by being able to buy in below the mid. Good job, pal!
You should be pleased that your buy was reported as a sell. It shows that you managed to buy below the mid-price quoted when your order was filled. That’s good news isn’t it? Would you have preferred to pay more in order to see your trade reported as a buy..?
To me it just shows what a good deal you got, as James says I wouldn't be fuming I'd just be grateful that I have picked up at a bargain price. I'm also hopeful of picking up some more of these while the price is still at these levels, just waiting for my money to come through.
I think with all today’s technology they can determine what a buy or a sell is or is the system a deliberate attempt to mislead and therefore will always show false information?

Fuming, why? You paid for shares and received them in your trading account, who gives a **** if they print on a cheapo L2 screen as a sell?
Its just LSE's interpretation. The spread is different to that shown so LSE interprets it wrongly.
I said i wasn’t buying anymore.
Oh well, another 64,000 added!
