Hi All. Who nicked my heading? I am sure there are readers of this BB that have a interest in gold, its price and different forms of investing in our main asset (or is that copper?) My ISA is stuffed with GGP stock and i refuse to buy more in a trading acct, i think we all have a moral obligation to starve HMRC. Brits and Sovs are tax free and a good form of wealth preservation (over time). I store my funds in coins ready to fill my boots with GGP stock in my sons, Mrs Speedys and my ISA accts on April 6th. Imp - I just checked and while they are all pre-1992 they tasted of metal and not mint so I guess i've been ripped off :( Sad times
;)
Spy hi,
Correct me if I am wrong but was it not you talking about coins and your Pi network re coins, that's why you were mentioned, no other reason or to be disrespectful and I could have mentioned about 10 others but you came to mine that's all.
ATB
Tom:-)
Hi, Idealised.
The important question you must ask yourself is this: are these coins minted before 1992? If so, you're in the money. If not, not. Because since that date, they've been made of copper-plated steel.
There’s been very few posts today... I really do not see the problem ... maybe just a case of a minority of LTH’s becoming frustrated with the lack of S/P movement - they should no better and not be rude to some harmless posts...jeez rant over
Tom,
any real reason why your highlighting me in your arguments. I have not got involved so dont really see the relevance. i already stated yesterday i have no issues with what is posted here.
A penny is only about 2.5% copper old chap! LOL
If it is so tiresome tell all the others on hers that have been talking about an investment in coin including Spy and many others.
If you are not interested fine, no need to knock others for their opinions or asking about investing in gold or silver., simple.
MY question was to a poster that bought some today and I simply asking n him politely at what price, GET IT.
Pfft all you guys talking about buying gold coins when copper is where it is at.
Just got myself 100 copper coins and it only cost me £1
Bargain.
I'm with @Tymers on this, do we really need to be promoting the buying of coins when we should be promoting the buying of GGP shares?
I'm sorry Tom, but buying another batch of 100 gold coins @ £130k, is a bit "look at me" don't you think? It was only a couple of days ago you were shouting out loud your bitter disappointment about us languishing in the 20's.
It's just a bit tiresome tbh.
Yep someone did - they had a 50/50 chance of being right - but in 3 weeks have a 100% chance of being right - my opinion DYOR
I Spy with my little eye LOL
Did somebody say this morning that we were going to have a strong blue day? lol
Tymers no need for your abusive post, then making excuses, go and have a walk.
No need for another one of your abusive replies thanks.
Time to log off as the grumpie's are awake.

TomE Firstly buying Gold Coins as part of my investments that form part of my estate to Gift to my Children is hardly stupid and such an idiotic comment to make, secondly my point is we have investors out there looking at this board after spending the last 12 months surviving on Furlough if lucky and do not need to see your jumped up commentary. so as many other LTH with large holding have departed the board, Guess what me to as offers nothing.
KnP
Garden shed with the rest LOL
Are they going in your sock drawer TomE, or being stored?
Best
Knocky
Thanks Jon for your reply. I just ordered for Total:£130,914.00 should have ordered earlier when i just posted. Oh well still a bargain. Much better than around £146,000 a few weeks ago.
ATB & Good luck
Tom :-)
And who gives one about your abusive post !!!! Give us a break ! and buying from the RM is stupid. DO a bit of research.
Exactly what have you posted today of any use - nothing ....get of your high horse and don’t be so rude
Gold Coin Buyers FFS just go online surely you have accounts I do with The Royal Mint rather than clutter in pointless commentary, there has been one or two informative comments today and I menan one or two at least lets the masses see them rather than hey I am buying 130k worth of coins who gives a sxxt
100 Britannia's where i got mine will cost you £130772. I paid quite a bit more but holding long term. Don't like money in bank
Daveri hi, yes I agree but I have enough, and need to spend some free savings / cash to get it out of the TM view.
