Hi Magic, completely agree that this should all ready be priced in, but the market will always take the opportunity to create volatility whenever possible.

Exactly magic! Havieron was drilled by several companies before GH had the balls to dig deep!
Personally, i'm quite happy these are out now so the bad news is out of the way and can look forward to new targets. The contamination is not really a concern (it's over a 1m interval in the Wilki) but like others have said is good transparency in the RNS and good to show quality control is being applied thoroughly. Also good to see the new target identified.
Now the goal has to be drilling different areas to identify stronger anomalies and preferably some minor intercepts of Au and Cu. It's clear these drill holes are located on the fringes and the zone of mineralization we are after is not around where London and Kraken are. Just remember, Newcrest drilled distal to Havieron and identified similar anomalous responses years ago and took GGP to drill in a different spot and deeper to find Havieron. So please remember this is all part of the exploration process
A good RNS, showing more Pathfinder Elements, so CB and the team can get to work, on the follow up drilling.
For traders, and people who need cash in a short period, maybe an exploration/ junior miner really isn't your bag..
If Exploration was always like HAD005, there wouldn't be an ounce of PM left to find on the Planet!
In reality, GGP is moving at brake neck speed towards being an incredibly profitable Company, with a CEO who wants to turn us into a multi $B Co.
The sun is shining, we are in a massively de risked investment, with a $hit load of Gold already discovered, and increasing with every set of results...
Have a good week
I think the BOD at GGP have been very honest here.
Why did they think the results were contaminated? Were they not expecting to see those numbers and if not, does that not say something about what they were trying to achieve on their first drills, I.e. pathfinder traits.
Why go back and wash the core and r3test the samples? Again shows they are people of integrity.
There is more to this than meets the eye. We still have Havieron and we are still seeing an accumulation of shares by someone.
Sit on your hands. Dont let them scare you into selling. All will be revealed very soon, I am sure.
Well I like the RNS. On a brief read, they've included Tama and they are widening their drilling area and they have mentioned the wider regional area, including a small company called Rio. Instead of Architeuthis, giant squid, they could have gone for Big Bertha, the Kraken's Sword meaning, although Big Bertha is also a giant octopus which would have been apt, given the outreaching tentacles this giant system is proving to have.
If the SP drops because of impatient traders leaving us, I'll be topping up. Win-Win.
ATB:)
Never heard of half of today’s early posters. More professional bashers?
Derampers straight in with a negative header, strange how their first post on GGP just happens to be after a Rns Scally update.
Nothing suspicious there and oh so quick.
Results as we all expected I’d say.
Interesting bit about the contamination, see if anything comes of that.
But now they know a bit more on the structure and have new target so next drill results will be more telling ( hopefully they are good).
Wouldn’t take too much notice of price today, unless looking to buy.
Only 9 more sleeps until another piece of history revealed
GL.
I'm not worried at all. In for the long haul here and this is actually a very positive result. The trolls and the market will play games this week, I'll sit back and watch.
These results point to a good deposit being down there and add to the picture allowing better targeted drilling. I am more confident that, long term, SWAG will add substantially to the GGP stable. Lots more horses to run too!
Obviously GGP think they are good and worth investing more in to it.....
Next Steps
§ A staged exploration programme is set to methodically drill test a series of targets based on modern geological, gravity, magnetic and recently collected airborne EM datasets
§ Targets within the 100% Scallywag licence include the Swan, Teach and Architeuthis. Targets within the Juri JV include the existing Goliath, Outamind, Los Diablos and Parlay, plus newly defined AEM targets within the Black Hills area, and Tama, N5 and A9 in the Paterson Range East area
§ Drilling is expected to be ongoing throughout the 2021 and 2022 field seasons
Shaun Day, Chief Executive Officer of Greatland Gold plc, commented:
"We may only be in the first stages of an extensive drilling programme, yet these results provide further evidence that the Scallywag licence is prospective for intrusion-related mineralised systems. In particular, it is very pleasing that initial targets have once more intersected pathfinder elements associated with systems seen nearby at Havieron and Telfer, and regionally at Winu.
For those with weak stomachs, I would suggest doing something else until lunchtime! ;)
Agree Spy, 2021 will be exciting.
This could be the opportunity MMs are looking for, and frankly I hope they take with a massive shake to fill some large orders.
its quite strange that some on here see this as bad news and expect a drop?
you do not announce a follow up programme on anything bad.
Why would you hold off with positive news if you had it? You'd just release it at the same time.
I suppose we might see sub 20p again this morning...
i am sure around a 50% drop has factored in more than this. no doubt they will have a mini disco today. but its all out there now.
Positive rns tomorrow Tuesday 12.30pm these have been held back until positive news to follow it in my opinion
The market now have all the facts. I hope they factored in Scally in the last drop. It often surprised me in the past how the share price of companies can fall on good news but rise on seemingly bad. The market likes to know where it stands. Now it does.
Ongoing geological interpretation, assisted by drill information and regional aeromagnetics, has identified multiple new targets within the Scallywag licence
t the London target, initial sample results reported very high-grade intercepts of silver, copper and tungsten results (872ppm Ag, 1137ppm Cu and >2000ppm W) in the interval 349.0 - 350.0m in LOD003
To be fair, I was expecting this but hoping for more. Looks like I am going to have to wait longer before I can enjoy my 'small fortune'.
Read the RNS,
It is contamination (drill malfunction).....
And it’s called Havieron; not Havarion.
Buck up.
Hmm. So what are the collective views now on JoeBass, in light of ‘contamination’?
MMs, give us a good shake and then let us be on our way. Glad we can now carry on.
Encouraging news do think that drill has not been contaminated and is a continuation of our major find at Havarion. GLA DYOR
