Most shares were down but ggp done well. People still don't realise the potential of ggp i would now say hitting ££sss very soon. Haverion is world class still drilling to see how big. Sally results due now and indication that it can be big. We have possible talks of take over by newcrest etc. Most important thing ggp is now a de risk share but can't wait for and monday for the GDXJ to drop in booooom
Great post 'threeturn' back on 8 aug 2020. Price has gone up 10p since your post but i think we are not even half way there yet. There is some very good analysis by aimtrader, paddygall and others on various share price estimates.
Thank you!.

Bottle Rocket - of course you can. Thanks for all the work you do there.
Good post Threeturn and excellent food for thought for a newbie to GGP like myself. I am late to the party (averaging slightly under 14p) so a little envious of those who have already multi-bagged, but fair play to you all, you invested when the risk levels were higher and I'm genuinely delighted it has paid off. From what research is shared on this BB, I am confident there is still plenty of climb left in the SP. I don't believe for one minute it will 5 or 10 bag any time soon; indeed I have no idea of realistically where the SP could end, but gradual increases work for me.
Morning All,
How pleasant to come on here this morning and read all posts.
I'm a holder and often read here, but have got fed up with the negativity and nastiness that seems to appear.
For me, each post this morning has been exactly what this board should be used for. Polite and constructive.
My thanks, to one and all, for renewing my faith in human decency.
Hi Threeturn - Well said! As Warren Buffet put it
“The stock market is a device for transferring money from the impatient to the patient.”
Another thumbs up from me threeturn
Well said threeturn
I for one feel in layman's terms the boards in general have a mocking of newbies similar to a successful and respected craftsman with 40yrs experience sarcastically criticising an apprentice with 1yrs no how .. why I don't post much even though I've been investing in shares for a few years now. Everyone starts somewhere !
Having said that , there are some truly wonderful and insightful board members here that I've really help me understand more than when I started... even when you're 56 lol
Good luck to all

Nice post Threeturn and totally agree with your statements about the SP and expectancy.
After joining this board a few months back, and suffered some berating for posting a naively worded question or, then I have taken on board the advice from the great posters on here and started doing more research on GGP and other shares – and actually getting my finances in better shape.
Obviously, GGP has been a massive multi bag for a lot of posters, including myself (I was naively lucky), and I’m sure when many bought GGP years ago then they never thought back then it would be a 10 or 20 bagger. I agree with you that there should be no expectancy of 10, 20, 30 baggers with any investment; if you work hard, done the research then if you’re lucky it will maybe pay off; but even just doubling your money should be accepted as a great success.
I can say I’m grateful to a lot of the posters on here as their advice has been extremely helpful; but I do think some should be a bit more tolerant of ‘Newbies’ and stop treating them with scepticism. Yes, they are maybe new to shares and totally inexperienced but it doesn’t make them idiots and probably most or all are not out to upset members or ‘break down the board’ – and I certainly don’t think most are here “to frankly appear to only cause trouble”.
We do want people to buy shares in GGP and contribute here if they can and read good posts like yours also; but we are all not experienced in mining, geology, share trading or finance and therefore cannot contribute knowledgeable posts. Yes, there might be silly questions and silly comments from some, but in my opinion it is better to try to educate someone with the information you do know than put them down for the information they don’t know - that's why informative, non critical posts from the likes of yourself are important for this board.
Spot on.
Well summarised threeturn. The other thing of note is that the SP here always seems to build in advance of drill updates (the immediate days before ) and then fall off a bit almost as if the updates are an anticlimax (which they aren’t but are a steadily developing Solid success story ). But what we don’t know is at what point the general update expected will be an intensified one including MRE, an offer for the residual farm in , a takeover etc . Remember the adrenaline rush on the RC takeover night?) But the news flow is steady and controlled and mature more like a main market stock than AIM . That’s the point you wouldn’t want to be struggling to get in with the herd but will happily sit and watch the herd drive this baby to new highs.
I think it was Beetham who said a 1p rise equates to £1.6m for him . Small steady rises can be very meaningful . If you want to try for a quick multi bagger ATM try the pharma stocks skirting around Covid vaccines or treatments
Hi bottle rocket, can you advice me how to find the ggp help desk link info..so I can add it to my favourites.
Regards
Can I use this post on GGphelp!?
Cheers BR.
Well said Threeturn and you, along with another poster who said the same things in a different way in terms of SP going UP in healthy increments are spot on IMHO.
I've said it before, but GGP in conjunction with a multibillion dollar company, are behaving like a FTSE stock on an AIM index. Very reassuring!

I like your analysis. A refreshing insight that provides perspective when sometimes that perspective is lost (and I included myself) by focusing on second by second price volatility
After seeing many panicky and frustrated posts during the week and at the risk of being slated I thought I'd post the following for some of the newer investors here...btw figures used are approximates!
Until end of Dec 2019 the SP had been "stuck" at just below 2p for ages then approx 125% increase
Feb "stuck" at around 5p for about 50 days then approx 75% increase
May "stuck" at around 9p for 30 days then approx 30% increase.
June "stuck at around 12p for approx. 40 days then approx 15% increase
We have now been "stuck" at about 14p for all of 15 days.
I for one am happy with all these rises. What other share could you be in that gives the level of confidence of SP security that this company does with gold and copper in the ground, sound management and a commited, active major mining company firmly on board? A 2p to 14p increase in 7 months!
In general, increases will always get smaller, the higher the Mcap of a company. The January increase of 125% represented an increase in value of the company of about £90 million. If the company did that 125% overnight now it would mean an increase of £642 million.
I can understand some of the frustration of many who have recently invested here after reading the GGP story to date but with mining stocks at this stage of development patience is needed. IMO it will move significantly up in the coming months but if you have come into GGP expecting a quick 5 or 10 multibagger your are probably in the wrong place.
There seem to be a lot of new investors coming in to the mining sector, naively driven by the belief it is easy to "get rich quick" from investing, through reading Twitter and other social ramping (not including PG in these by the way, who posts well researched facts and data). Here's a message for you all from a sanctamonious old git whose been there, won, lost, learned and now as a result, has a lot more wins than losses:
You can get rich, but like anything else it takes hard work, commitment and time. So, have patience, take the time to read around and understand the companies you are investing in...look at their history...read RNSs, articles and reports going back a couple of years. Don't rely on other people doing the research for you...most are not as thorough or *expert* as they'll have you beleive. Study the forums and boards and over time find a few people who regularly post with knowledge rather than speculation...ignore most of the rest. Don't be obsessed with finding 10, 20 and 30 baggers. Use your time to find good businesses like GGP that IMO will over time give you increases far and above the average market rates with lower risks. But then I could be wrong so DYOR ;)
