Even if it doesn’t arrive, we know where Havieron is going to. It’s one of the Worlds best discoveries in recent times.
Fingers crossed Sand - could be great news on top of excellent news or vice versa!!
Taken from the 11th March report by Newcrest....
“ At Havieron, infill drilling (within the Inferred Mineral Resource Boundary) designed to support the delivery of an Indicated Mineral Resource estimate in the South East Crescent Zone and adjacent Breccia Zones has been completed. The results are in line with expectations and increase confidence in the continuity of the higher grade mineralisation.”
It doesn’t say when the infill drilling was complete, but it would have obviously been before this report was written. So who knows, the indicated figure may arrive next week.
"Q2/21. MRE(Indicated) for SE Crescent and Breccia."

Thanks Oilmonkey - that’s why I asked the question as I wasn’t expecting an update to the MRE next week but very much expecting 15 out of 15 excellent drill results - VGLA Greatlanders!!
I would caution anyone 'expecting' upgrades to the MRE, indications of inferred moving to indicated resource etc. In the NCM quarterly.
There has been absolutely no official talk from GGP or NCM as to when or if they will be giving updated MRE figures prior to the Pre-feasability study.
You are potentially setting yourself up for disappointment should the news release this month not provide what you hope it to. These things are 100% going on, at Havieron, on the ground and in the NCM/GGP back offices, but they may not keep giving investors a blow by blow updated figure every quarter. If we do get an update, excellent, if not so be it i'll wait until the PFS.
Im sure we will be getting a great update on all the further infill and growth drilling that has been happening regardless of MRE figures.
Manage your expectations.
Is there a new MRE due then ?
That would be excellent news for the share price IMO, any further information would be appreciated.

Hollamatronic, I agree Managed funds as you say, didn’t buy in abundance.
But one thing they did do is top up to some degree.
One thing they didn’t do is sell out on masse as the latest Bloomberg Terminal testifies.
Like everyone says DYOR to find out the truth.
The recent buy ins were tracker funds. Not aware of any managed fund that decided ggp was a bargain and bought in abundance.
Hi Ponie - love your post 19.45 - are you sure that we will get an updating of the inferred MRE next week? Be great if we do, but I thought the consensus was that this may run a lot closer to Q3 before we get any revisions announced?? Thanks.
Pony, exactly who were the very large institutions that bought in.
Genuine question as the only thing I know is Hydro has kept up this line for weeks
The forthcoming set of results should be particularly informative.
We will we see the Infill drilling Indicated MRE update for the restricted area of Havieron alone that was previously reported as the Inferred Resource (3.4m OZ AU and 160KT Cu). I hope that figure is increased considerably.
In addition (subject to available later infill drilling results) we may also see a new inferred resource figure for that area of Havieron which was not previously previously reported in the first MRE. This figure could be classified as an additional Indicated MRE figure if all the results were available but perhaps that may be too optimistic but we must be aware of Newcrests overall tight timescales for the end MRE reporting deadlines. It is likely this figure could also be a considerable increase (double or more the first MRE inferred figure).
There could also be a more defined indication of further step out drilling which may be classified as just outside of the actual Havieron area but within the JV area.
Overall the possibilities really exist that we will get confirmation that Havieron is likely to be as large as investors who have done their detailed factual research including many who have not reported their findings as well as those who have ,believe.
Do not accuse those and us of Ramping-We know where this is going and for a long after mining commences within 2-2.5 years.
GGP's share will be the mainstay for many a year. Gervaise was excited and Shaun must be beside himself with all the other future possibilities.
The very large institutions who recently bought in at the recent give away prices did not do it for fun, they did it for long term profit but they must also be expected to give back some of what their actions have cost existing shareholders. The board/shareholders must expect their complete support in future.
To those who seek to hold this back I will enjoy their squeals for each penny/pound this rises.
