Hi Lebugue - thanks for your response earlier today and I received your petition via Change.org and put some money behind getting it distributed even further. I’m not on twitter or Facebook but happy to do all I can otherwise to support your sterling efforts - hoping others will do also. Cheers.
Forgot the twitter link!

Hi Redirons - I have done a progress note to say that we have now reached over 1,000 signatures which is a great start and encouraged signatories to take to social media, lobby their MP and contact the FCA to follow up. Have updated on twitter today. Thanks for your message.

Great stuff Lebugue - well done to you - what’s the next step?

It has been a week or so since this was bumped. Can't stand the manipulation of our share? Sign the petition and let's see if we can't encourage the banning of this abhorrent practise.

Mushy and Redirons - petition has been signed by 788 people now. Next target 1,000
First of all signed the petition.
Secondly, I think the whole concept of shorting etc and what it actually means to Jo Public et al, is by and large an unknown quantity and as such should be aired more in the press etc.
I am thinking for example of the potential detrimental effect upon pension funds, and yes I concede that some funds will lend their stocks out to earn a bob or two but for whose benefit?
The real concern I have is that the average Jo Public will not have a clue whether their own pension fund is partaking in such activities. I think it's high time that Jo Public was made aware of such activities, an ideal topic for a media led intervention etc. Panorama springs to mind.
What do you reckon Hydro ? time for education of the manipulated masses?
Nice one Redirons!
(Great summary of matters earlier too Zoros. )
Hi Mush - good on you for keeping this petition at the forefront - I will copy and paste your message onto other Boards as well. Hope ur well.
70 further signatures since this was bumped two days ago. I'm only involved in GGP investment so am not familiar with other shares that may be or have been targeted by these shorting sharks. If you are associated with other board 'communities' fuming over this artificial manipulation, please feel free to circulate the petition link.

Clever Mushroom...good logic ;).
I do wonder about this 'trading' company (no names) I continue to spot increasing concern over their financial accounting. Saw a video yesterday from a poster on here which gives cause for concern. In addition any trading platform that lends out shares for trading.......surely a moral concern no?
I guess everything will be fine..................provided your total fund is below £85k ;) ;)

So delboy, you are happy staying with a company that knowingly lends out GGP shares to shorters from trading accounts. An action that indirectly leads to a declining sp for the share sitting in....your isa account.
What was that line Ripley utters in 'Aliens'? "Did IQ's just drop while I was away?"
I have a T212 account. It's genuinely fine. I have an ISA so my GGP shares can't be lent out. Zero problems! Yes I might not get the ultimate best price or be delayed here and there but I'm okay with that as I've saved a fortune buying/selling other stuff within my ISA as a newbie haha. GGP is by far my largest holding!
Buys as Sells. Its the way the LSE algo works - it only works based on midpoint as SP. Often the spread shown on LSE is not the actual spread so buys show as sells - so shilst advertised as say 17.5/18.1 the actual spread is 17.8/17.9 - depending on what deal you get LSE will look at it against the advertised spread
We should have this pinned to the top of the BB
I feel that Havieron going to be HUGE. The market will catch on soon and the SP will start to move North.
Why all LSE prices shown as sells.
Looks suspicious to force holders to sell
I am holding on to my gold nuggets a a lth
Chris
I agree but feel trapped with them on my ggp until the price rises.it’s so true you get what you pay for.

This is what happens when you sell your soul to the devil.
Who in their right mind would have a T212 a/c, suicide!
I see that trading 212 have raised the amount of our shares they are lending out (scum bags)from 16 to nearly 20 percent.grrrrrrrrr
