haha. that confused me seeing Spratt and Sprott together...! try saying that quickly three times after a celebratory drink! :-)
10pc a day till news will do very nicely
and see us well past 20p
Sprott's after 5 baggers not a few % here or there. They seek the best and want degrees of return on their capital. I'd like to know what they can 'see' and haven't yet revealed their thoughts
'The best-run companies might provide 20- or 30-per-cent returns, or maybe 100 per cent in a few cases, but Sprott would rather invest in a company that might strike gold and give him a 500-per-cent return, or even a coveted 1,000-per-cent return.
Indeed, as merger activity heats up in the gold space, another one of Sprott’s investments, Continental Gold Inc., announced a $1.4-billion cash buyout at $5.50 per share.
In July, Sprott had bought about 10 million shares at $3.10, meaning he made about $25 million or a 75-per-cent return in just a few months. But he was nonplussed, saying the buyout may have come a little early.
“You’ve got to have the dream, right?” he said. “You’ve got to have the dream you’re going to find something.”
Therein lies Sprott’s biggest paradox: he’s eager to believe that junior gold miners are on the verge of striking the motherlode, but skeptical of nearly everything else related to the gold industry'

Think Sprott are still buying. Lovely steady day..more of the same again please
Agree, may have eyes and ears on the ground.
4.39% of their holdings.
What made them jump? Havieron.
NCM was up Friday and up again today. Somebody thinks they are worth buying, too. Havieron.
Why they became convinced now? Perhaps they are hearing rumours about the next results and thought they needed to get in before that.
Any thoughts on what made Sprott jump in at this stage?..22m shares at almost 10p is quite a show of confidence.
Here’s a link to the mining maven valuation without need to complete form..

Apple thanks for posting..I think any valuation right now is very relevan ... the holy grail is a revised sprott note!
Great BB today and as always brilliant input from the usual suspects.
Spratt i have posted the link on to MINING MAVEN
this form
https://miningmaven.com/contact
dated 4th Feb but still relevant
TOM THE BOMB great research note and further compelling reading. No wonder this bb is troll free. Everyone and his dog wants a piece of the action!
Anyone able to post the link to the mining maven article which broke down the SP valuation according to resource?..think it’s useful to see again for newbies. Thanks.
Yes the sprout report is old but was the first detailed note on Hav..and to be fair it has unfolded pretty much as per the report hence quite relevant. I’m sure they will have had an updated one..think someone requested it but was told it will not be updated as Sprott we’re not interested in pursuing investment!! Well they were interested but didn’t want to share the potential here..
that PDF is 16 months old?
Sporty are very shrewd..check this interview out with a Rick Rule and make up your own minds. Apologies if already posted..

This my friends in the most important thread of the day.. Frankly its the only thing that has been niggling at me, other than indirections through metal tiger or NRG cant remember, Sprott has until now not shown their hand, many on here will remember their research note, I do well as its what made me average up so significantly. So it has always bothered me that they wernt at the party when we started to look like we were finding what they thought we would and more.
I second what Hydrogen says here, no one does research like sprott in this sector, if they are happy with an entry in the high 9's, then people, sit up and take notice... DUCKS DUCKS DUCKS GLA
Hi H2, not sure where you are going with this as Sprott had 22891400 shares on the 29th May and you are indicating they have sold 26664805 shares on the same day, does this mean they are shorting the shares now? Where is the info on the sale? Ciao DM
Will be looking for minimum, 3-4 x investment return, so that tells you the direction of the sp.
A very bullish moment indeed.
