@deerhunter Yep, then all that took us to 165p. No sales, SILENCE then general hatred and despair gave us a lift back and dropped us off. MC is low. If they put everything they had in an RNS tomorrow, and none of us had heard of it before, our ÂŁ30m MC would pop.
I know but an automated lab isn't going to be running a low amount of tests is it? so by default, an interested party will be getting through a lot, otherwise the Biomek isn't cost-effective, unless of course they already have one for other tests, The 96 plate well is a standard.
Surely we must be close to the bottom at this price , it was mid 40s before beckman came on board with us wasnât it?
Struggling to see much downside here (maybe low 40s but for most well underwater that wonât matter ?
Be interesting where we go from hereâŚ.
Preefty why canât you be realistic like this more often , you always usually say stuff like 270,000 labs and all we have to do is sell them 1 pack each
Ultimately at this point we donât know what the crack is , we could be making big sales we could be selling nothing , either way surely the silence canât go on forever
What we can agree on is the longer we stay silent the longer the battering the SP takes
Preefty I think I was just showing how a relatively small number equals big bucks. Also wasn't really thinking about it on a lab basis, more so against the 1.8m tests US is doing everyday, and the the fact that BC ramped up there antigen tests to 35,000 a month to meet demand. Even the recently fully automated BC test doesnt have an EUA yet and they are getting through more than ever. Thats why I thought 350 PCR tests a month didn't seem a far cry. You're probably right tho, as GDR's test is designed to be used on a 96 plate well, and you only get 10 in a box, I suppose labs would need more than 1 if they are going to make the shiny Biomeki7 or Themofisher, or whatever other compatible automation machine worthwhile. They can of course just use the kit manually if they just wanted to buy one for sh1|s and giggles.
I don't know mate, it's a guessing game with this share. You're the one that has been going on about the 300,000 labs not me, so you're saying they can't sell to just 1000 of those? Anyway next week they will put us out of our misery.
Bet we are blue tomorrow see
I'd be happy with 500 packs at this rate :)
Was averaging it out. Anyway why is 1000 so difficult across EU and US, at one pack each?
Totally appreciate where you are coming from Guy, and I too have lost confidence in the CEO but he's not doing the sales.
I agree the sales will be limited, but I'm not saying we will be selling 10s of millions or hundreds for that matter without EUA. However if BC can sell to just 1000 labs it will put this company on firmer footing and negate the need for any fundraise. Given the size of the EU and US combined, 1000 labs should not be too difficult for "$6bn Beckman Coulter"
If they haven't managed to sell to 1000 labs over three months, then BC need to look at themselves in the mirror.
Itâs more the confidence in a company that fails to deliver
In February this was the surest of sure things , since March 25th itâs been a catastrophe
The director says limited sales without eua , since when was the definition of limited sales 10s of millions of sales
I donât think this is a total lost cause and other products are great , when this hits the floor after we fail to update on PoC (my opinion of course) Iâll be adding for the first time since my original buy in , if Iâm wrong and donât get the chance .. so be it
Guy.... you have gone past âborderingâ certain phrases that could ( although shouldnât) be used here.
Almost 230 posts on this bb only in the last 30 days....thatâs gotta be classed as something in the lines of.....somethingâs not right with this person.
Relentless, childish, amongst some other words OR being paid to
Along with your slapstick chums.... we all know who they are.
I cannot see how anyone would take you seriously as a trader/investor by the way you behave on here, so why waste your time?
Unless youâre being paid to, still at junior school (therefore youâre bunking off), an idiot investor that feels hard done by, perhaps vindictive ex-employee of GDR.... who knows.
One thing we do know is youâre a waste of space on here and I dearly hope youâre nothing like you are on here as to out in the real world.
No need to respond although I know you will.... you cannot resist..... go on try it...... resist!
Guy i think you are missing the point here. As others have said BC need only sell 1000 packs on America, to generate ÂŁ8-ÂŁ10m for Genedrive. 1000 packs over 3 months is not alot to sell. If BC can't shift 300 packs a month, they might as well call it a day.
Why would we be so secretive about making loads of sales?
Weâve been partnered many many months , how many confirmed sales aside from one for $400k have we had?
DB said sales would be very limited until we got EUA.. and as far as Iâm aware we still havenât got it yetâŚ
Preefty how many confirmed sales have we had?
Itâs always selling direct to 900 million Indians or 10 of millions in undeclared sales with you
Our SP is taking a daily/weekly/monthly battering and all
You want to do is get your mouth round DBâs pipe
anybody share the bloomberg page with institutional holders would be interesting to see what peel hold
Well that was a serious flush today. No idea who is selling all the way down here but i did get a nice chunk to add to existing holding which felt good. We'll see what happens for the rest of the week and then next week.
No idea why we have done so much volume suddenly or why we have dropped. I get people are loading up on a cheap entry but a lot must have exited at near lows which must have been costly. A few large sells today too creating a sub 50p entry. Hope theres no foul play there. If only the BOD (who need to go) could engage a bit, it would do wonders. Even RNS'ing the AIHL thing for August would be something, an update on India - they dont want us/waiting for regulation/Divoc are waiting with orders to fill. Anything really.
Beckman must of sold a few kits. Like I said a couple of weeks back, even if they have only sold 1000, thats ÂŁ10m to GDR which underpins financing and the market cap. If they haven't sold any then I'd be more worried about Danaher as a life sciences entity.
Lots of new money entering and averaging down today no doubt today so everyone should feel at least a little better for that, albeit we have been slammed.
Looking forward to the next 2 weeks to get some closure.
