Goin bak to house as formality, the democrats will toe the line.
It will pass tomorrow. The hurdle was the senate, thats done..
IF (in caps) the House approves the Senate version as is, I think it will be signed tomorrow night. All comes down to if some far left (really liberal) representatives will vote in favor. If it gets voted down, then members of the House and Senate will meet to come up with a bill that could pass both houses.
The one sticking point could be the $15 minimum wage.
Opinion from across the pond
Well let's put it this way we need to sell 180k tests a month to support current MCap. if you think that's very high number which BC cant do for GDR in a month then sell up and go. If you think like me that BC can do 180k in a day for GDR then you are at the right place. Hang in there. Patience is KEY.
Even 3m test, the numbers add up. Mkt cap 84m
Too low.
Honestly I’d be gutted if we got bought out and a share price hadn’t been hit £10 upwards.
6 mil tests a month = 36 mil profit ( i believe ) = £432m pa profit ... that HAS to put the share into double digits ! but Im sure we would be taken out well within 12 months if those figures are anywhere near right
From another point of view 6 mil tests @$120 a go = 720 mil per month/ 8.6 billion pa ..... 16% of the $52bill US package for testing ....... thats probably not too far out
BC are selling 10 x 96 well plates in the UK at £14750 ..... £15+ per test bed /$22
If they sold in the US for say $35 ( £25.00) they would clear £90 mill per month .........more than enough to buy us out !
Ok mis mis.
Next monday will be 1 month since beckman start selling our tests. This isnt your cornershop salemen..
We also hav POC news too..
“US”....bell$nd...:-)
Further tick up this afternoon.... RNS must be tantalisingly close... next stop £2
Some nice late buys showing up now
Can sell but can't buy unless NT.This has been going on for over 10 minutes.Maybe a buy order to fill.
Agreed so would I, although I did read they can do over double this with expansion. When bc see the demand is there I think they can up scale much quicker than we think to over 10m tests a month
Paulb
not disagreeing at all , possibilities are endless but Ive learned not to overly optimistic
I believe Cytiva's capacity for making the besd is 6 million a month ??? I would be ecstatic if they operated at full capacity for the next 12 months
also silverfox we havent even accounted for europe sales, africa sales or india sales, plus poc ect the list at this point almost seems endless
baring in mind testing is not going away anytime soon, people getting multiple tests, flying, sports events, family protection. pop of usa 350 millon. so yes think its very feasible but lets see
my guess ??? i wouldnt like to
but Im v ery happy if your 100m is proved correct - happy days then !!
Been here a long time and had some dark days.... need some really good news to come through now
dont forget its been said many times, there is very likely to be more usa stimulus later in the year
silverfox whats your guess for the slice of the pie we will get then
US govt is paying to a lab not to GDR, it is not just the bead it has other components and costs involved to run a lab (inluding lab rent, machine cost and labour cost )
$15 is just bead cost BC pay us if they are buying in bulk otherwise it is $25 (kit with 1o plates - 960 tests costs $24,000)
Paul
of course youre right but as I understand it - the package is for the people carrying out the test ( ie pharmacies) to claim the $120 back from the 52 billion package .. hence my rationale
Happy to stand corrected though
and if thats the case, for your calculation, we would need 25% of all the tests in the package to be carried out by BC customers
you dont pay retail if your buying wholesale sizes
have to disagree, 3-5m inital sales maybe, but usa plans to test millions per day, they would only cover about 2/3 days worth of testing. we are scaling up as we speak, and with inital sales use that money to scale up faster and faster
Paulb
wouldnt that 52 billion for testing be at retail prices ie the $120 dollars per test previously mentioned ? wont be at be GDRs selling price or BC's selling price surely ??
Whats the upper limit to our production at the moment, i know over 10,000 tests per hour but can this be done over tw0 8 hour shifts 7 days per week, at 10500 tests per hour that's 1,176,000 per week...
