Sorry 960K tests per month would give £58M - £2M admin costs is £56M profit per year. MCap £35M and 8M cash already. Even 480k tests per month would give £28M-2M so £26M per year plus £8M cash, no debt therefore would equal our current market cap!!! That's how cheap we are.
Of course 1.9M test per month would male us £112M profit per annum lol.
What about the US military contract. Hep C test kit WHO approval and neonatal baby deafness test venture with IHC.
Okay Saint - so that for just one million sample tests a year we are looking at £60M profit per year. Current MCap £35M.
GDR can make 10k tests per hour so require 100 hours of production a month to make 900k
Therefore 10k test production for 3 h a day every day of the month gives 900k tests which equates to a £40M clear profit a year to GDR
With 8 billion in the world and considering the rising global pandemic do we think we could sell a million tests for a million people a year of our superior product a year - I do - minimum!!! That's why I added this morning
looks better with out that big chunk of debit servicing :)
So 40% of a £900 superior test so £400 profit per unit (a 96 well plate)
So even 96 000 sample tests (a 1000 plate units) is £400k clear profit to GDR.
So 960k samples to be tested is £4M clear profit. Over a year that is £40M clear profit to test 960k people per month.
We are valued at £35M with 22% cash alone.
Hahahahah
Looks like there is hope for us still.
Where is PlantPower when we need him?
So we have a test which is competitively priced against UK market leader NCYT.
Its a better test
Works on 3rd party machine with software tool
I guess this just reinforces what we know already, the rest is good. Are GDR capable of selling it.
Grim et al
love it :)
Grim et al
So we are roughly the same price as NCYT it seems give or take 40 odd quids @ £9 a test for us
60% is a huge margin, does that mean we make 60% or does it mean there is 60% to be made between GDR and final seller?
Yes flyingmachine - a house keeping gene.
No offence but NCYT's product is a bit inferior
The French health authorities will not directly reimburse the NCYT test because it only looks for a single gene. The GDR test looks for the recommended two genes plus it has integrated RNA control to say if the sample was collected effectively.
Good post Saint and highly valid!
Cytiva on board and confirmed the 3 milestone test before any other form of approval was sought - nice n robust
right then Safy
i phoned ncyt
there test cost £842 per kit of 96
@Safy
i can only agree with you there :)
i had the impression we were about half the price of some of the competition but that really is not much use to you i know :)
my impression doesn't count for much. :)
feck sake Grim
The Ramp brigade have been talking this share up to the moon for months and they dont know the price of their competitors test LOL this is hilarious.
p.s Youre not in the ramp crew
i was going to ask on the ncyt board :)
but i not strong enough for a torrent of abuse today :)
rough night
Doesn't anybody here know the price of the NCYT test?
Hi Cola
65% on what price?
GDR is around 60% too.
@Safy
65% margin NCYT said recently
Hillbilly
I did write 8-10 :) but I’m not a ramper so I had to be sure.
So it seems we are 10-12 dollars per test. And I bet if push comes to shove there can be some efficiencies in there so maybe $9 a test.
I wonder how this compares to the NCYT cost?
Are we better and cheaper or just better?
Safy .. For someone who posts far more than most .. You Should Know everything about GDR. So just DYOR . Don't trust anyone on here .
there were lots of threads about this around march time i think.
there was something which came out saying that NCYT were not making anything on there tests but i think it was wrong. i cant remember sorry mate
GDR test cost £8 to £10 at 60% profit if i remember right.
I think some people have mentioned before that they are in both GDR and NCYT. Can someone pls advise what the cost of the NCYT test is and margin they operate on.
And likewise can someone please mention the margins for the GDR test. I think DB said £8-10 but I’m not certain.
