Yes LTH14, a "very special ethos" indeed. Absolutely.
I wouldn't be happy with a takeover at £1.50. What GDR have is very special and their ethos. I'm here for the long term...if you don't want to sell then why be so concerned about the share price currently. I'm happy at present as I can add to my share holding and get double or almost triple the amount of shares that I once purchased at.
Don't forget too that the position could change overnight or even one hour to another.....
with all the products though that would be a steal! But maybe thats why we have no news and silence....
Doesnt seem so crazy now IMO
Deer I said a few weeks back everyone would bite Danahers hand off if we was offered £2 a share and I was called a deramper and told it would have to be £5 minimum haha
I’m pretty sure people would take £1.50-£2 without a second thought now
its not nice to look at ill agree luckily its across 3 isas so i just look at 1 LOL , doesnt look as bad then!
Id happily take a £1.50 takeover now tbh
I’ll be averaging down to about 65p as I’m currently at £1
Compared to you I’d say my holding is very modest but damn I’d have the jitters with that much in
@guy fair enough sorry i must have missed that! i have 6k left to average down if required (will only get me to 90p though) but i would then be in the 100k club with @jay LOL
not massive volume but seems to be plenty of support here with buys ticking in..... if Budd wakes from his self induced coma and delivers some good news this could prove to be a bargain price indeed.
"Guy, it will NEVER fall below 42.5p, mark my words"
Firstly you cannot say a stock will never fall below a certain price
Secondly I predict you will be proven wrong on the above before July arrives
Deer I’m of the opinion we won’t hear anything on PoC next week and we will fall further
I’ve said numerous times I’m not brave enough to sell just in case I am wrong and get caught out , but if it goes how I think it will do I am buying a lot Thursday/Friday next week
Guy, it will NEVER fall below 42.5p, mark my words. This will eventually reach 100p but we may have to wait for the next Covid wave, possibly in October.
Is it being suggested that BC are selling GDR product but GDR are not selling that product to BC? And so GDR do not have to report sales.....thats ridiculous
Just bought 10k back in at this price will now wait and see gla
@guy have you sold then to buy back next week???
Back up a statement with some reasoning FFS
Roger65: this scenario has been a strong possibility to me for a while now.
1) Walbrook confirming to me and others that GDR has been in a closed position since last summer.
2) BC very much invested in their online presence for the PCR kit - testing the market with one product first (though some may disagree)
3) Delays to POC - which could be linked to BCs involvement now.
4) And just the pure lack of updates - seems to me as there could be other people pulling the strings.
All that said, £1 buyout (approx £63mil) is way too low for the product line of GDR.
30s end of next week
While I agree they ignore shareholders, they can't claim not to know about sales as its GDR's stock being manufactured and sold. They may pretend not to know how many kits are being sold, but they have to know how many beads they are supplying Beckman to sell. If Beckman are ordering more beads every other day it would be a little silly to say BC are keeping them in the dark.
I now think DB is ‘in’ on a play by BC for a takeover. BC don’t have to give DB sales info so he can legitimately hold his hands up and say sorry nothing to say about sales. Sp plummets even further and when it gets to 35p BC ‘save the day’ by buying GDR for £1. If they wait another 9 months (12 months after the recent highs of £1.50) then they could get it even cheaper. DB we’ll be rewarded by BC with a new position on a considerably higher pay deal than he currently enjoys. Pis totally shafted.
I wonder how GDR employees who own shares in their own company feel about the ongoing slaughter of the sp and silence from the BOD?
