My investing day has been a great success though , G3E has been liquidated so all monies gone .... if you don’t laugh you will cry , so please genedrive get going lol
Many Thanks PP,
Totally agree, keeping our minds distracted from life's health issues, where possible, is beneficial.
Even when the distraction is investing in a highly volatile AIM Stock !
Hobbies are another Great distraction, even more so when the Hobby takes us outside in the fresh country air !
Our thoughts are with you and your Family.
Also with All on this BB, that fight the pain of Family Health issues, and the World at Large as we all work through the horrors of this Pandemic.
When these things happen, you research the issue and search the web for research from anywhere globally, email hospitals globallyand get as much info as you can, mostly at night when you can’t sleep as the mind is going like crazy.,The lack of sleep further adds to the stress and the fact you can’t help adds again. On occasions it can leave effects similar to PTSD. Thoughts with you all!
PP, many thanks , I’m sure we will all be thinking of you guys from here in :)))
Iknownuffin - thank you so much for kind words and so sorry for your loss. Very emotional read, I cannot imagine what you all went through but pleased you had medical support to give you all more time together.
I’m extremely grateful for modern medicine meaning my daughter’s cancer is treatable, with outcomes improved significantly in past decade, so I’m totally with you on the investment strategy and plan to continue investing in similar manner.
Thanks for sharing.
PP
bigAl - wish all the best for your wife’s continued all clear in check up’s, never a good time to go through these testing emotional personal life curveballs, but added stress and strain at the moment is particularly cruel and stressful for all. Sometimes people ask why so many posts here - I’ve stated hobby before but must admit, it’s also been a therapeutic distraction (even when down!) - but think key for all in challenging emotional situations is finding times to take mind out of situation - fishing, running...investment boards ;0) whatever helps.
So pleased to hear all clear and will be sending positive thoughts.

PP , sorry to hear what yourself and family are currently going through and I wish your daughter the very best throughout her treatment. Unfortunately I lost my daughter 3 years ago through a genetic condition she was born with, this has given me in mind to invest in companies that can actually help human kind so I make money with also the type of companies I invest in making progress to eradicate the hurrendous diseases currently within our world. My biggest investment is within vela simple because Sir Chris Evans who specialises in cancer trials and treatments was a great help throughout my girls short existence and without him she would not have lived to the age of 6. So these investments are extremely worthwhile in my world that’s for sure .
Thanks for your message PP, very much appreciated.
So sorry to read about your Daughter, a rough year for you All.
We wish your Daughter the very best outcome from her chemo.
This COVID-19 is a nasty virus, that we will all be Grateful to see the back of.
My wife was diagnosed with a Melanoma in January this year, caused from sun burn on her foot, while wearing Flipflops last summer 2019, we believe.
Fortunately, the removal of Lymph Nodes from her Groin came back clear.
Now having 3 monthly checks for 3 years, followed by 6 monthly checks for a further 2 years. These checks are being carried out via Video conference currently, due to COVID.
Our Very Best Wishes to you and your Family.
Sending best wishes bigAl to both - for what it’s worth, from your granddaughter’s perspective, my daughter is undergoing chemo and dealt with ok earlier in year.
Appears children are protected by very fact of being a child (whether immune system compromised or not), by virtue of having less ACE receptors (as only develop with age) which the virus attaches onto.
My other child did experience some fatigue issues after, but is better now - so only short term impact (ironically - he shower minimal symptoms at the time).
Appreciate nervous time though, so send our best wishes.

Many Thanks Livinhope, much appreciated.
Our role now is to keep her thinking positive !
Also to do her shopping, so off to the shops now !
Cheers Guys !
Thanks BigB,
She is only 26, and hopefully it will not get any worse !
Her Daughter is 4, and she has decided not to put her through the Trauma of a swab test.
They are isolating together.
Hope our GDR POC Saliva Test comes sooner than is predicted !
Swab Test for kids is too frightening for them.
Cheers Magsy.... you cant rule it out.... il be right one day lol ;-0
Sorry to hear this news BigAl, I sincerely hope she is okay.
Sorry to hear that Big Al.. im sure the strong young have nothing to fear!
Thanks Furion,
She is feeling OK, but a little anxious !
wishing her speedy recovery ...
Hi BigB,
Our Daughter tested positive today, she works in an office for a Taxi Company.
There was confirmation that 3 persons in the office had tested positive 10 days ago, when she was last there.
Our Daughter did not have a Temperature, nor a Cough, nor a loss of Smell.
She just felt tired and lack of energy, so decided to go for a test.
Now starting Isolation.
>110p - looks to be a Great shout BigB !
The stars are aligning for GDR this week !
If one of your predictions actually comes true BB then this is a very significant event! :)
Maybe this week really is the week!
But the boots test is not suitable for anyone who thinks they may of had The virus.... How are you meant to know when 90% of people get little or no symptoms.
My prediction of 110 finish looks good..happy for it to be smashed into the weeds though!
OK boots are charging £120 per test, Whereas Genedrive test cost from £8-£15. I urge Genedrive to get in the retail market as well as NHS. with the Biomek i7 automated work station and Beckman Coulter collaboration, this will be a great opportunity.
wakey wakey Genedrive grab opportunity with both hands and feet. this Coronavirus will get worse over the winter months. Europe and North America have bitter cold and snow to come, making covid19 worse.
GDR get ready to take the testing market head on.
