>Perfection is well worth waiting for - and it will not be long now !
It doesn't have to be perfect - just better and cheaper for the customer than other products and delivered when the customer needs it.
Hi scart,
I totally agree.
DB has said in the past, you can't rush these approval processes. If you do, you will make mistakes, and that will not help your applications at all.
DB comes over as a Solid; Methodical Process Guy, who does things right, hence the Quality of the Products that are coming out of GDR.
Perfection is well worth waiting for - and it will not be long now !
@lb28 whilst it's frustrating for some not to have had any updates since the presentation a few weeks back, I'd much rather the next RNS is solid - I can't stand all this wishy washy rampy nonsense I've read in some RNSs from other companies. Be ballsy yes, but only if you can back it up with evidence.
I honestly don't see the point in issuing RNSs without just cause i.e. just to say something for the sake of it. It might boost the sp temporarily, but that's all it is, temporary. We want belting figures from GDR now and if that took another week I wouldn't be bothered - other than I'd like to top slice at £4 sooner rather than later ;-)
@thika, ?
@scart I triple checked their name is not on the validated list. There are only five antibody tests. Unless there is another list which I’m missing
@amdy, let's see where they are at the end of the day, I'd prefer to have an RNS thats not caveated because I know that when we do that this current share price will be long gone. A lot of support for our £50m market cap ahead of those commercial sales... it's in no way a bad position, patience wins...
until we have some news from DB this will be going no wear but down only he should put money on his big mouth
@technick.....we could do with an RNS like that! They have 2377.78% more trades than us today....and it's not even 09:00am!
They are also +6 and we are -6
Think the bullish run yesterday has run out of steam :-(
@technick tell me about it, 'Approval for sale in India'.. ! ... (subject to T&Cs)
I assume they've had to because I don't think potential sales in India were expected and people could've found them on a list, but still.
Agree, hardly worth the paper it’s written on, pump it up and introduce a placing!!
ODX really, "Approval for sale remains conditional on the submission of supporting technical data", basically they are on a list of suppliers who say they have a test coming, the ability to sell the test is conditional on them showing it works which they've not yet done. Wow, what an RNS!
The price of cheese has everything to do with GDR. Price of cheese drives the British economy. That, and the price of chocolate.
GHIF hold about 13% of GDR, I believe. It has less do with the price of cheese, does not fast track approvals etc, but the credentials help, I would expect, in sales scenarios.

"...worth remembering the GHIF/Bill Gates connections here people."
Whats that got to do with the price of cheese? Its a foundation that uses his name. It will not fast track GDR approvals or guarantee sales.
For sure if the people who posted on this bulletin board were in charge the Company would be in trouble!
...worth remembering the GHIF/Bill Gates connections here people. GDR is epic.
ODX/Mologic test was developed with Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine who (according to article dated 12/3/20) are also working on GDR's POC test "The second test is being developed with industrial partners Genedrive, with whom we have submitted grant applications based upon prototype tests designed at LSTM and transferred to Genedrive’s portable PCR device. This test may help diagnose individuals outside of central referral systems, as even in Europe we cannot keep up with the huge demand for diagnosis tests."

LSTM is also linked with The Centre of Excellence in Infectious Diseases Research Innovations (a partnership between LSTM and the University of Liverpool, which develops relationships between industry and academia) who are in collaboration with the GHIT Fund among others.

Not sure we even got invited to the wedding
GDR the bridesmaid again I see, let's hope we catch the bouquet and get our own news soon
So does Omega have approval for the test that they can only make 100,000 tests per week In Aug, then double that in Sept for a population of 1.3billion?
By the looks of it no one was waiting on Indian approval on that board. They must have applied a while back.
6 weeks since CE mark achieved tomorrow.
Would love to know what they've been up too. Surely approvals or some sales news is close.
ODX Mologic ELISA test is on the new ICMR list, we are not. We have to wait, feels a bit less windy in the sails ...
It is not on the list. Maybe will appear in next list. It seems no use to check the list then. Looks like we will get RNS before appearing on the list
Just had a brief look, subject to supporting data, so looks like approved but no really
