Second that
Softy
Finally, you accept you're 'guessing. As I mentioned before, none of us know, could be today, could be far longer.
You were 'guessing' and then claiming the guess is supported 'by people in the industry' and insisting on using obviously flawed mathematics as false proof or fake news.
You spoke or emailed 'someone in the industry' who told you nothing about timescales.
Then had the audacity to seek apologies for highlighting your b.s.
Trot on.
LP
I merely communicated timelines that were told to me. I don’t think I can do much more than that.
I went to the length of contacting the FDA. Though they won’t commit to any timelines at the moment. Whether written or verbal.
Not one person on this board can say they’ve contacted FDA directly or spoke to an industry expert on what they perceive to be current timelines for FDA EUA. If they have great, share the information instead of just spouting abuse.
It could land next week, week after, all the way into August. But August is the more probable time line. I know it’s like saying if not next week then week after, or week after. But I think if nothing it’s proved that us waiting for FDA for the last few weeks has been in vain. It was never going to come. I also waited for it. No shame in admitting it.
>Perhaps you can share the same sock.
you are disgusting.
Yeh fair enough, sorry for that.
Softy
More B.S. From you.
They only approved one application within one day and that was for Roche.
Timescales have not extended and again your mathematical 'analysis' was inept.
As was your imaginary friends, namely, 'people in the industry'.
Well someone will be getting proved wrong in the coming weeks.
My stall set up in August as previsously mentioned.
Rather than berate another poster why not look to disprove through your own research.
Until then, some of you need to get back into that dark room LB relieved himself in not too long ago. Perhaps you can share the same sock.
"i've been told that in the early days FDA used to take a day for approval. However at the moment its somewhere around 2 months. I wrote around 45 days a day or two ago and that seems to be correct (working days). Its been a month already, so max tentative timescales indicate its another 3-4 weeks away, maybe sooner. "
For the competent people. Around 2 months from submitting the application....its over a month now
Key words in my post....
max tentative timescales and maybe sooner.
For the incompetent people, this means if it goes to the wire then expect another month, if it doesnt then sooner.
Just proves you read what you want to read.
I can't wait until the kids go back to school...
Not according to 'what people in the industry are saying'
There's a million 'rumours' and they've only approved two of them .... in seven years !
now now chaps, are you alright? Sounds like the both of you are having some issues. Its going to be ok.
LB28, RollingInIt.... You should probably lay off the sauce this early on a Friday. Now go pick some actual stocks that might make you some money so you can finally leave the parents basements.
Anyone that buys into this needs to give their head a wobble! Sentiment is not on our side.....Buy on rumour, sell on news.
Softy
What you really meant, was:
'So, you've demonstrated beyond a reasonable doubt that I was making all that s.h.i.t. up about 'people in the industry' and 'August'.
Trot on, desperado.
Gloria,
You took the words right out of my mouth :)
>News backlog is piling up and will be flowing very soon...could even be Monday morn who knows... For those wishing for a much lower entry price I think you have missed your chance now...time is not on your side. Great weekend to all.
You too bigbench.
For any newcomers I'll translate bigbenches message:
"No news expected on monday, plenty of time to buy GDR at a lower price next week."
News backlog is piling up and will be flowing very soon...could even be Monday morn who knows... For those wishing for a much lower entry price I think you have missed your chance now...time is not on your side. Great weekend to all.
Let me put it another way,
Its been at least a month since they put in for FDA, if your 1-2 weeks EUA timelines are correct, where is FDA EUA? Its been over a month now.
great link safy. many thanks.
Well said Rolling :) Softy talks complete tripe and was so obsessed with ODX he called it all wrong - it was all rather embarrassing for him.

You'll be waiting a long time for any apology, if for no other reason than your argument is flawed.
Just because the FDA receive hundreds of applications and have only issued EUA's for 125 doesn't give any indication of the amount of time it takes to get an EUA or the total number of applications completed.
You're mistakenly assuming that 'every' application gets approved and ignoring the number of cases completed that don't get approval.
So, again, you're guessing with amateur claims of 'people in the industry' for August.
Trot on.
We do not provide review times as they are depend on many variables.
Please see our FAQ found on https://www.fda.gov/medical-devices/emergency-situations-medical-devices/faqs-testing-sars-cov-2
Q: I submitted a pre-EUA or EUA request for a COVID-19 test. How long will the review take? (New 6/17)?
A: During this unprecedented public health emergency, the Agency has received an exceedingly high volume of EUA requests and is working as quickly as possible to review each request. There are hundreds of pre-EUA and EUA requests for COVID-19 tests under review and FDA continues to receive new submissions on a daily basis. To address this high volume of work, we have brought in additional scientific review staff to double the number of teams working on submissions; and we have implemented a triage program to prioritize submissions based on several factors. As a result of these efforts, by June 1, 2020, FDA had authorized over 125 diagnostic and serological tests, far exceeding the number of test EUAs issued during previous emergencies.
So from Feb - March to End of May 125 approved.
Rollinginit and Bladderman. I’ll await your response on just how many approvals that is a day.
And the FDA say they get hundreds of requests now....?
I’ll await that apology.
At the start of the pandemic it was one day for approval - pull the other one hahahaha
Safy
You're making it up.
'People in the industry'.
Hilarious.
None of us know.
You're just another 'guesser'
People in the industry are saying 2 months ish for FDA, at the start on the pandemic it was 1 day.
ICMR is overwhelmed and is very complicated, simply put the process appears to as chaotic as a Mumbai traffic jam.
