Weeeeee (Saloo "batwing" doors open), Okay, Here's The Story. I Come From The Gutter. I Know That. I Got No Education, But That's Okay. I Know The Street, And I'm Making All The Right Connections. With The Right share, There's No Stopping Me. I Could Go Right To The Top.
So, I am looking for a... (looking into at the back of a pack of smokes for the name)...aaah... a dreamatchmaker, no, wait, dreamachine? Anyone with that name here?
@scart, touché sir...and it’s not time yet!
@bsinkers "Knowing when to get out is as important of knowing when to get in" ;-)
Glad now I didn’t sell. I know a lot of you will be in the “I told you so club”. Hold my hands up, seems I might have been wrong to be pessimistic on this one. This has to be GDR party time...I even bought some more on the very slight lull this afternoon!! I’m in!!!
just the way AIM is i reckon, because you aint dealing with blue chip stocks which is more or less net assets and profit earning
whether ncyt make hundreds of millions on their tests then good for them, great, all i know is there was some uncertainty on their margins, hence they share price has somewhat cooled off
we know that gdr has 60% gross profit margin before labour costs, so yes the true net profit of that could be far lower, but that is good enough for me to think serious profit would be made if tests sell
many other companies in development are similar, true net profit numbers are yet to be known, so volatility is bound to happen
nyct were the first, and for us they are a competitor, so to use ncyt as a marker/benchmark,against us seems somewhat reasonable
after all, we can think what we like about true value of a company, its the market that determines it
it should do, with level 2 showing loads of buys......
Silly valuation at present. Heading for a strong close... tomorrow the PR begins.
BTW that £7.90 is based on one year sales and without any of the ther assets of GDR, just the SARs Cov 2 alone
Agree Ghia, and per my earlier post, GDR value at production capacity is £7.90 a share!
I just saw Zak's target looks like we got quiet the same technical view on current GDR SP...
Magsy - I see the point you are making and I do not disagree with it. But I also see the point of others which I also agree with.
As investors we make a choice to invest based on our perceived value of the company some of that will be based on the here and now situation and some of that will be based on a series of events likely to happen in the near, mid and long-term direction of the company.
The market is usually efficient at finding the value for a share, when it doesn't it soon re-rates quite dramatically. GDR had one of those re-rates very recently and it was well justified.
NCYT is an example of where the market priced the share in anticipation of a huge chunk of sales, once confirmation of those sales orders hit the share actually retraced.
I imagine the same will happen here at GDR we know the profit margins, we know the production capacity, once the first order lands quite quickly we will probably see the share being valued at the production capacity rather than the true order book.
So I think it is justified to draw aspirational comparisons to NCYT despite no orders yet.
I never look at rampers or derampers. I read RNS's and analyse charts... in my opinion whoever still like to join the boat it is still the time. Tomorrow will be probably difficult to buy sub 200p. This share consolidated for almost last two weeks and INHO 300p is the minimum where I see SP in short time, only based on technical analysis, with positive RNS much higher...
i have not got time to be calling out every single person
i agree there are certain posters on here, very enthusiastic and probably overstep the mark, or should at least manage their expectations
i aint wasting my time exchanging posts with you, far more better things to be doing, and talking about, as opposed to squabbling like kids
if you want gdr to succeed you will agree
Why dont you just cheer up, share is doing well today. ffs.
It’s not just me though. The market has disagreed with you for weeks.
These discrepancies in market cap are not new and so throwing out a bunch of market caps to compare, with zero context, doesn’t really progress things.
There is far more repetitive nonsense on these boards from people spouting ridiculous share price ramps. Why aren’t you calling out these people?
@marve indeed :-)
ive said my bit, moving on now, far better topics on here for us to talk about, as you know scart
@marve sorry but don't agree but as @rollinginit said 'we all have individual opinions' :-)
I don't see anything wrong with questioning positivity and a lot of what @magsy queries or calls out is valid and worth questioning ourselves. If you've got a good response to any questions then there shouldn't be a need to get defensive. People thought @punter was the same, as did I at the start, but I personally appreciate the tempering of enthusiasm on the BB - every now and again though, too much and I'll get depressed with my investment lol
Scart
What you can determine is where the market cap should be, based on same sector valuations and given the far greater margins at GDR and the partnership with Cytiva, the potential for the market cap at GDR to exceed that of NCYT.
With reference to Magsy, there is no time qualification for highlighting an intentional disrupter, determined to write repetitive nonsense.
It's obvious within seconds to the reader and it's clear to me that he's trolling.
We all have individual opinions, you're fully entitled to yours and likewise, so am I, regardless of time spent on a thread.
magsy, we played nice
i have been through your posts, every comment you have ever made is always questioning the company you supposedly hold, gdr, ncyt, tlw...
i called you out for shouting down new people who appeared asking questions about gdr, i at least said be nice
the way you have carried on, if anybody decides to shout at you i could not care less now, if you are a true holder here you should be looking forward to what could happen in a positive way, not constantly questioning everything as if something is amiss
so if anybody agrees with me, tick this post up
Guys and gals @Magsy isn't a troll imo so I'm not sure why you're ganging up on them. Particularly you @rollinginit, you've been here all of 5 minutes.
Literally all that was being pointed out is you can't say we should be NCYT's mcap yet because we haven't recorded sales. Not that we won't be NCYT's mcap. Yes people buy on speculation, but the sp is never going to go that high until we actually have facts.
Those that care the most, tell you the truth Magsy.
Consider it a mission of compassion. I'm all heart.
Only one of us resorts to insults, they don’t strengthen your points.
Weak attempt, Magsy.
The fact remains, in yet another poor display of faux negativity, you were called out on an inane statement, a specialism of yours.
You're not the brightest but sincerely appreciate your efforts.
Enjoy the increasing valuation at GDR.
NCYT should look at getting some partnerships together then to help them compare to us. Wonder if GSK or AZ are interested. Obviously they aren’t as big as Cytiva but it would help them out.
