Africa Energy did go onto invest into Pancontinental that year..

Yep! Hopefully it will contain some further information regarding the counter parties and the farm out of PEL 29 & 94 too!

2017 Strategy and Outlook
Accordingly, over the past 12 months, we have been engaged in detailed discussions with certain counterparties, which ultimately proved unsuccessful. However, we will continue to evaluate appropriate opportunities, both asset purchases and potential corporate combinations.

Strategy and Outlook
Global continues to monitor opportunities which might complement its existing portfolio of exploration assets, and remains open to strategic growth of a more structural nature.
J's info regarding the Private Placement announcement 27th Jan 20 over at Africa Energy is interesting..
Placement are expected to be used to finance the drilling of up to three exploration wells on Block 11B/12B offshore South Africa and for "general corporate purposes. "

Might be ready for another move, online bid up for the same volume
Orders to fill ?
Another late night then waiting for the ASX to open !!
Intriguing how on the ASX the GBP SP goes up 75% + in a day and there is no requirement for a company to issue a statement?
Agreed, apparently there may be a reference to the increased exploration activity ahead of the up coming drilling in this weeks report (source GBP PR)
Lol bit of a silly time to be selling considering quarterly report could explain all..?
Can sell 600k online currently
from the Q3 report slide 9 "To finance its future acquisition, exploration, development and operating costs, Africa Energy may require additional financing from external sources, including issuance of new shares"

PSG still heading south from Exxon block 1711 and into Exxon block 1811A (S18.05/E11.05)
Still sweeping the famous connecting fairway
OM, are you on prescription medication ? if not please stay on the TRP bb, because you are way out of your depth here
The link you present us is regarding the Namibe Basin, the clue is in the title "Namibe Basin - Namibia - 2019" This particular 3D shoot (shown in blue) is on Exxon blocks only . The blue hatching's is 2D coverage.
This is a PGS link and they are not the sole company to have shot surveys in Namibia. There is already extensive coverage of 2D over Namibia and GBP blocks and as M has already said there is a large swath of 3D covering Welwitschia Deep. I will not post the links and make it easy for you, as you are intent on wasting my time, but there are links further back in these posts or you can research to find the source if you prefer.
Around 57 days were used in the initial Namibe Basin shoot, out of the 100 day contract, since then they have swept up and down the fairway between the 1000m & 2000m contour lines from PEL82, that leads directly to GBP blocks and they have seen fit to cover the western side of PEL94, which is Welwitschia Deep on several occasions. Recently the last few days the vessels are back in the Namibe basin and still in this Famous fairway and in the area where 3D has already been shot in the PGS link
Oh and Global initiated the farm out process in January 2018 and have had interested parties since, however it is since the Brulpadda discovery Q1 2019, that intensified interested in the region as a new play was realised and as a result Total are testing a new concept with the Venus 1 well in a couple of months. Brulpadda put Deepwater exploration back on the agenda in Namibia
It is all interesting.. going by historic work at TRP, Welwitschia is the up dip high closure for the Walvis basin. Alpha and Gamma are reliant to be charged from the Namibe basin.
From GBP’s website..
In the western part of PEL94 the Welwitschia Deep prospect is already covered by 3D seismic data
read carefully Jim. Dosn`t cover W.Deep or anywhere near it.
Perhaps they will not add it on at the end.
https://www.pgs.com/data-library/africa/africa2/angola--namibia/mc3d-nam-2019/
Yes GBP put this into farmout mode a year ago and I suspect that the crossover with
PT initiated the approach to TRP
That'll be Namcor
Clearly you don't like anyone talking about GBP, being a TRP holder
When I offer positive thoughts on TRP you say......

Agreed Jim some good detail to be gleaned from other interested parties
I have never said anything defamatory regarding TRP , but talking more about GBP is enough to upset you. I say get used to it, as this is a GBP bulletin board
Companies that have entered data rooms sign a C/A with regard to possible farm out deals , this may extend to 3D data acquisition and if this the case GBP or whoever will not need to rns any 3D shoot taking place
There is nooooooo way Namcor will be shooting 3D surveys to help out Exxon and the term multi client is exactly what is says on the tin
However apparently there may be reference to the increased activity in the up coming GBP quarterly report this week
You never know it may even have a positive impact on our Namibian neighbour
Jim try this on for size.
seems to infer PGS multi client
survey currently under acquisition
is actually being paid for by Namco
and PGS. Obviously Namco can shoot
3d wherever they want.
Incoherent drivel
try and keep it civil jimmy.
If the PGS vessels fail to make
it over the the W Deep site in the
next week or two then this will drop
to back to where it was before you
ramped it up on HotCopper talking to
yourself for almost a week while no GBP
shares traded. And you are calling me a
tune. get real
Your on the wrong board, you lunatic ;-)
No problem with TRP Namibian assets. They have just as much potential as GBP
on a relative basis. BBls recoverable relative to market cap the have around the
same leverage to Namibia offshore. TRP have two additional safety nets in the form
of Cameroon and South Africa, so they are no one trick pony.
Regarding having confidence in the stocks one owns then continual posting to yourself
over on HotCopper hardly shows any!!
I posted...... "Was going to say .......anyone notice GBP on the ASX is up 75% , but just jumped to 100% ;-)"
Sorry if that was upsetting, but try to have more confidence in TRP and you will be fine ;--)
Jim your 100% increase is a false hope.
The move of up 100% was a catch up from
2c(1p) to 4c(2p).
The first time you posted re the 100% up
I filled you in with the whys and where`s
of the move. Now even though you are aware
of the facts you still choose to highlight this
when in my view it is a non event.
If you want a sensible discussion about why
folk should hold both GBP & TRP I am over
at the TRP BB.
AEC over subscribed raising $25m,, plus they have $17m in escrow already for their 4.9% share of three up coming wells. There has to be more to this raise....transaction to be completed 5th Feb

Morning Jim
Yes sitting waiting for the quarterlies as you say there has to be reference now after recent speculation, emails to company and share price movement, decent breakout last couple days, just consolidating that move at present, even on this drop there isn’t much offered but can sell plenty, it’s like the MM’s know it’s going to go higher again soon.
Just under 800k traded on the ASX and closed 80% up, whats on the book shows there is more in the tank
PGS vessels keep hovering in Exxon blocks from S17.54/E11.11 to S18.21/E11.05 still in the fairway, still plenty of days left on the contract to slide into PEL29
Quarterlies looming closer, there has to be a reference to current activities ;-)
Will Peter Hill need to issue an announcement on the ASX given the 100% SP increase?
I'm in London tomorrow, I'll have to keep check the UK GBP share price on my phone.
