I recollect this share going down to 12p on the back of its banking woes a few years back ... I'd bailed at 55p ... thought about getting back in and missed the boat back up to £3.00. Too volatile for me but still on the watch list.
Risky risky stock that at the moment just seems to walk from one situation to another and whilst all the time hoping it doesn't get hit by a you know what.
Best avoided until the war ends.
It feels like Ukraine want Ferrexpo assets, but they don't want to pay for them, they would rather seize them using the courts
If their accounts are frozen and they can't pay any creditors, how long before they have to stop production?

The legal issues.
"FPM has received notification in Ukraine of a court order issued at the request of the prosecutor in Ukraine to freeze the bank accounts belonging to FPM. This action is linked to the ongoing investigation in Ukraine commenced in November 2022 by the National Police of Ukraine concerning the alleged illegal extraction of minerals ("rubble"), details of which were disclosed in the Group's 2023 Interim Results and 2022 Annual Report."
36 mins in...this historian explains why the kremlins blaming of NATO to blame, narratives
is misinformation.

The pope should have tried stopping the kremlin/putins war

instead of waiting 3 years, too late
‘Others might say that a NATO-backed minority mob ousted a democratically elected leader :)’
What a load of rubbish pal. The Ukrainian people were brave enough to stand up and get rid of Russian backed regime. The same as they are doing now. I seem to remember 250,000 people demonstrating in Moscow in 2012 against Putins regime. I suppose they were egged on by NATO as well were they? I find it hard to believe the Russian people have changed their minds since then. The same as in Belarus. If they had genuine free elections the dictators would be gone. Which they will be one day. Then all the lies and propaganda will be exposed and useful idiots in the west will be seen for what they are.
The people of Ukraine, Belarus and Russia don’t want to be governed by Putin and his cronies. Fact. That’s why they are demonstrating. Not because of some big NATO or western conspiracy theory.

here you go bud....would you want to be,in a kremlin backed government?

arrrrr, your talking about history, ime not talking about history
ime talking about the present.
nato/europe and the uk,are arming ukraines, since the russian invasion,to give ukraine a fighting chance against a bully regime
no if you utube "the kyiv orange protests and kremlin backed sniper"...you'll undestand, why ukraine, doesnt want to be a sattelite slave nation,of the kremlins greed for power and aggressive manipulation.
and yeah,if ukraines hadnt have been refused NATO admission, russia would have never dared to invade them.
the same as latvia/estonia/lithuania/poland/romonia etc....theyre now in NATO AND SAFE
Once this border dispute comes to its natural and blatantly obvious conclusion ; EVR need to simply absorb it.
Troajan, are you seriously suggesting that NATO members (particularly US and UK) have never financed, organised or instigated regime changes and coups...Wow.
The dozens of examples since WW2 are also "well documented".
remember selling these at around 200 and was ****ed i didnt get the high, in hindsight thank god, this will end up at zero once russia completes its integration of ukraine. having said that everything in the ftse 350 pretty pointless these days, nobody buys u.k. shares anymore as it’s a political basket case thanks to the tory brexit scum.
I see Victoria Nuland is retiring. Given she headed up the Ukraine desk at the state department does this mean we are seeing a comprehensive programme wind down in Washington when it comes to Ukraine?
The kremlin aggresive backing of coups and kicking out democratic type governments.
is well documented,worldwide
they even use chemical/radioctive poisonings.
NATO,isnt famous,for any of the above,its a defensive organisation
"back around 2014.....the ukranian people kicked out the russian backed puppet leaders and theyre russian backed security forces."
That's the official line from our governments and intelligence agencies. Others might say that a NATO-backed minority mob ousted a democratically elected leader :)
The long-term consequences of that putsch are a demonstrably weaker UK, EU, Russia and a destroyed Ukraine. Who was the only one that benefitted? Uncle Sam...
What a moving RNS Ferrexpo seem to be a company that so values it's employees.
Very true Evanecent. Putin is already in an unwinnable war but unlikely to give up as that will be the end of him.
I don't like the look of this. Giving the Russian rabble ideas:
https://www.straitstimes.com/world/europe/ukrainian-drone-strikes-fuel-warehouse-in-russias-kursk-region-governor-says
The Ukranians are already living the 'alternative to a ceasfire '....... the russian scum already temporarily occupying regions in the east......
History tells us that invaders will eventually be sent packing, even if conventional warfare ended the resistance in Ukrainian territory would make those regions ungovernable from moscow....
NATO troops could be used to free up Ukrainian troops around Kiev, along the boarder with Belarus or to provide training. Putin attacks them then he’s attacking NATO. F*#k Putins so called red lines. He’s a murdering weasel, 11th largest economy in the world with a drunken rabble of an army. Everyone, including Russia, will be better off when he’s gone.
Typo: north sea
The alternative to a ceasefire is too horrific to contemplate. If Macron, NATO and the Telegraph gets their way then I fear for the worst. It won't be my share portfolio I need to worry about, it will be the number of Russian nuclear submarines in the red sea that will worry me. We are all told how unhinged are leaders think Putin to be, but still think it a good idea to cross his red lines. Ask yourself this, if NATO troops do engage into the war and Putin reacts as stated and uses nukes, where do you think he will use them first. He'll need to use several, all at once, but at the same country, thereby hoping that the response is limited by acts of self preservation on behalf of those countries not hit. We must of course be thankful for the Germans for leaking how very much involved Britain has been to date.
Rbrand
