Now, bargain hunters picking up cheap shares , could be back to 60p today, imo
If the courts win
Sold - £700 profit. too many risks. on to the next.
Sure, it's "cheap"' on financial ratios alone, a bit like everything else in the FTSE...
The problem is, one cannot quantify the political/legal risks.
Cheap
50P looks to have been the bottom, buyers taking a few around these levels now
Bought £20k. Worth a punt
Are we going up or down?, might have to wait until after 9am let it settle first?
On the lookout first thing for 50p shares ? 48p even better
" Ukr do not want to see their money leaving the country. Will use any trick in the book"
Ukraine is under Martial Law at present, so there are strong restrictions on taking money out of the country anyway ...
When Corporate FXPO puts money into the local subsidiaries they cant take it out again
I’m more interested in the Q1 results April 8th.
Ill be in f or a few more tomorrow, with news out on Wednesday could see this jump back to 70p in short time, imo
Shock horror, did not see this coming. I still believe this is overvalued. Ukr do not want to see their money leaving the country. Will use any trick in the book
I suspect a fair number of cfd muppets got fleeced today.
FXPO is for big boys, not for people who wet their panties when their index fund drops 1%.
At last the big fall that has been on the cards for a long time. Ridiculous share to be holding.
Considering the fact that Zelensky persistently talks of Ukraine having the same values as the West, it would be a shame if the Ukrainian courts behave in a way more fitting of a banana republic or a corrupt dictatorship in their dealings with any company.
Lets see what tomorrow brings, may bring in a few more ambulance chasers???
Plus whether the rule of law operates properly in Ukraine
Well glad i decided to wait on wednesdays results before buying my first shares in fxpo. dodged a bullet lol.
" i dont think a couple of claims of a few thousand pounds warrants a 25% drop in MCAP, "
it is the freezing of the bank accounts that is causing the alarm ....and the implications that has
plus there are other much bigger claims too...see RNS 29th January 2024
With over $100 Million of cash, and no debt, i dont think a couple of claims of a few thousand pounds warrants a 25% drop in MCAP,
lets see where it goes mid week??
In H1 Report ..worth noting ...
"the Group is currently subject to several legal proceedings in Ukraine, and it cannot be guaranteed that the Ukrainian legal system will always provide a ruling in line with the laws of Ukraine or international law."
"The independence of the judicial system, and its immunity from economic and political influences in Ukraine, remains questionable, and the stability of existing legal frameworks may weaken further with future political changes in Ukraine.
As a result, the Group is still exposed to an unclear fiscal and legal system in Ukraine affecting the risks around the Group's tax position, including risks relating to policies applied relating to transfer pricing, the timely return of VAT refunds and the independence of the legal system for any cases heard by the courts"
A statement from the company would be appreciated
Happy with the 52p shares
