Thanks Eat. As I say, if/wehn i do buy between 8-12p, this will be my "high risk/potentially high return gamble" and a bit of fun. If I lose the money, the rest of my portfolio with dividends will cover it. If MED3000 passes the second FDA trial/gets EMA approval then FUM will go to about a £1 (and 0.60p very very quickly) . (BUCOLIC - AM I NOW A RAMPER????? IF SO LETS SEE THE SP RISE TOMORROW!!!!!! ;)).
Good luck to you eat (and all) and your portfolios. Interesting times. And importantly, stay healthy, your loved ones stay healthy, and keep your jobs/income. I myself almost lost my day job, so good luck all :)
8p I believe Vol. Think Ody can get in at 9p. Im sure he will manage his risk appropriately.
Very close now Ody.. Think you could get these for 9p.
Eatmy, it's not a fact that a fund raise will be required for the small FDA trial, and it IS deramping to keep repeating it as fact. From my limited experience there are no facts and definites in AIM investments, it's all a massive gamble, and if people post opinions disguised as facts in an attempt to persuade others to invest or sell then I will post my opinion. I get what ody is trying to achieve but I don't want to see the SP dropping because people post negatives as facts. And don't get me started on that lot on ADVFN! What a shi| show that is!
Buc: Its fact that the company will need to raise funds for a small trial that the FDA has requested. Thats not deramping! Ody is looking at buying but at the right price, he doesn't want to lose a lot of money again. He is purely trying to judge the "best time" to buy the share with minimum risk. A good approach in my eyes.
Ody,as you said, it wasn't me who called it a placebo. In fact it was the trial designers, who not only demanded that Dermasys was used, they called it the placebo. You're the only person who has ever called it the vehicle, and you keep repeating it, as you keep repeating that MED3000 is non active, and that the actual drug that they were testing had no effect.
I know about the shares you bought years ago, you've told us often enough. I suggested you sell them a while back when the SP was about 18p, and then buy back in when it went down to your predicted sub-10p. I guess you weren't that confident after all. What I don't understand is why you still want to invest in such a rubbish company as FUM, as all you do is deramp it.
Surfie, I know you're not deramping. You're just p'ed off with your loss, as are most of us on here. Don't know why you'd support ody's constant deramping though.
that was £0.84p, obviously!!!!) :)
Ouch. That must have been a hit Surfie? £10k 10 years ago?? I had just got my first job after uni 10 years ago and so invested on the new "hot" share tip of FUM (when they were doing R&D in condoms tipped with oil that promoted stronger erections). These were launched but "marketing was wrong". I see from the results that the revenue for FUM last year was £32, 000!!!! Wow ;).... 10 years ago i invested £1000 (i was poor after uni) at about 0.84p. Could be tempted again at about 10-12p..... but would view it as gamble and a bit of fun. Good luck surfie and all
Oh... and before you start Bucolic this is NOT deramping it's fact.
I'll support you too Ody. I have also been in this share for around 10 years and year after year it promises great things only for the promises to be dashed. I do agree however that one day if Med3000 ever gets approval to be sold we could all be a few pounds richer as the £10,000 I initially invested will have shrunk to just a few pounds and will therefore need a massive hike in the SP to get even close to breaking even! Hardly a great investment and anyone else who has been here for some years will be in the same boat.
im not wrong Bucolic. Med3000 was the vehicle (not placebo - i know you didnt say that but some peopel call it that who are being unfair). The vehicle is the solution in effect. And vehicles can have an "active" effect. But usually they dont. The question in my mind is: was the phase III trial actually designed well - or could it be another reasons why the vehicle and active arm worked? As normally if there is no difference between the vehicle and the active arm, that the rationale for the treatment is wrong. And the effect is due to another reason )more likely here as by its nature, the trial cant be independently observed between two people in the bedroom). Thats probably why the FDA wants another trial. And why, likley, the EMA will delay/want further data before any approval. Meaning a longer than expected approval and so more capital needed. By the ay, i already own FUM shares from about 10 years ago. It's been "promising" for that many years. Just in case any newbies think the last couple of years are all there is about the company. Its disappointed year after year for 20 years (fact).
Got to get your deramping in, haven't you, ody? I suspect that if you ever do buy in you'll change your language somewhat, and this "...vehicle, non active MED3000", will suddenly become the wonder drug. You're wrong on two counts, of course - MED3000 is not non active, it's just they don't fully understand the mechanism yet (like paracetamol), and the planned drug did provide additional benefit but the trial was deemed a failure because the placebo performed just as well. Let's not forget that, however much you want to drag the SP down.
hi all, back again. had a few issues with my account. Thanks for the support eatmyshorts.
Looking like it will head to 12p. My new thinking is that i will wait until the new funding is announced. i dont think a partner will be announced before they need tp raise new funds (Nov/Dec). And that will drive share price lower. Plus no update on EMA approval or FDA new trial. This is looking like second half of 2021 before any approval. Its been a disappointing (again) 2020 for FUM after the disappointment of Phase III trial in December 2019 and then the hope of this vehicle, non active Med3000 (after no additional benefit with the actual planned drug). I now will consider buying at between 10-12p, probably early in 2021 - January or so
