Re-entry price - how low could it go? The million dollar question. Having seen this share at both 8p and 80p within the last 2 years and currently hovering around 40p I genuinely have no idea what price I'd go back in at. I would have put another £10k in at 10p in March if they'd diluted back then, which I really did think they would have to do to keep the lights on. That would have put my average around the 20-25p mark and I'd be holding now safely in profit. I got a little giddy thinking (hoping/praying) this would be the next Viagra, but now I'm not so sure. Take care my friend and wishing you well on your Island paradise.
There's a lot to be said for a Young Thai bride, apparently! Blimey, did you see ody pop up there? I guess he's still waiting for a 12p re-entry point as usual! It's a shame I won't be meeting you guys for a ****tail on fantasy Island as we planned, surely that would be worth leaving a bit in FUM for? How low would it have to be for you two and maybe Surfie as well to get back in?
Morning Bucolic, you have a good memory ‘ting ting’ that made me chuckle. I’ll allow you to pull me up on the share price rise. It never felt like that to me though having piled in at 47p July 19. I’m sure I’d be still holding if I’d done the right thing and bought at 8p but the P3 results were a shocker to us all (though your concern was the placebo could perform well and it did). I’ve lost confidence now and can’t stay invested in a company I don’t believe in anymore. I hope I’m wrong and it goes on to fly for other holders but I had to take my profits when the opportunity arose. Having watched £20k fall to £5k and sitting underwater all that time I’m just pleased to be out with some profit. Wishing you well my friend. I may have another punt in the future but not to the extent I did, it was foolish what I did and I’m lucky to have got out unscathed.
FDA trial start should be about to come and with that advancement in commercial deals. I think gettin a commercial deal for this type of product is slow and need derisking -FDA trial- As soon as that gets started, it should put some life back into the stock to keep it reasonably leveled for a while. I think I overstimated my entry point, but still think this has potential and the spikes on new have usually been good -x5 on licence + FDA trial announcement-
With all that ahead any losses from entry points at 55-60 can be recovered easily.
hey bucolic. Long time. I must say, Im glad i sold at 50p. After 10 years. I sold at a loss (i bought at about 85p in 2011). But I honestly think this company at most will get to a £1. And that in years. It just isnt a game changer. In my honest opinion. But good luck all.
Sorry to hear you're leaving, idg69 old chum. I've got to pull you up on one thing before you go though, about the SP going down more than it goes up. Since the cliff edge of P3 failure, it's been doing the opposite. 8p after cliff edge, 15p at year end, and 40 odd p today. That's a fairly decent rise, it just doesn't seem like it when it slowly drops between rises. However, from reading your posts, it appears you've lost the appetite for this kind of gamble. Can't blame you for that. Good luck, and don't forget about TingTing!
I'm not convinced this is a day traders dream, the spread has been very wide at times and apart from the spike on news in March it tends to go down more than up. I think it's a very risky stock to day trade. We may have had a flurry of get rich quick boys jump on this in March but most are mid to longer term investors who like me did buy on the potential of the product years back. The problem comes when after many years and numerous fundraisers/dilution that potential never transpires in to anything robust. Loads of companies have potential but some day it has to be realised otherwise us 'weak investors' will eventually upsticks and go elsewhere. We're all in this game for profit and no other reason and you have to take it when the opportunity presents itself. I may be out but I still want FUM to succeed for all existing investors. I may have jumped ship too soon and the good times may be just around the corner (no one really knows)but I'll have to live with that if it happens. GLA
Too many get rich quick characters that haven't a clue about the stock market, the MMs love them. Investing in an Aim company because of it's potential was always difficult but now is virtually impossible.
looks like more selling pressure ,I'm afraid.
The truth is this share is a day traders dream, it rockets on news before slowly dropping down until the next news.
The sp is so low right people buying now are getting a real deal, we have the agm on Monday hopefully something might be said to stop to slide.
Need some positive news, actually any news to stop the share price going into the 30s
