We are being fed information from individuals close to the situation in Georgia. Hopefully soon the mist will clear and we will either see the sunshine or the apocalypse.
dont take it to heart sr trying to deflect the rubbish you have to put up with :-)
piscean, yeah could be
never mind sr what about rainbow whats happened to him
Oops!
Sorry - I meant "WHam" not "WHAM" - I guess that's different.......
WHAM - it was 3rd Sept (shows "last post" date on his member page) - but the post is no longer there.
Who knows how this will end. I am personally not optimistic.
Losing a director with a lot of skin in the game opens the door for new management who aren't aligned with existing shareholders.
I had a large holding in GKP. Very similar scenario. Large asset(huge oil reserve), large debt, and disruptive regime(Iraqi). Shareholders ended up with a 95% loss after the new management came in.
There was only one post from J.J.Carter regarding Zara’s dismissal and it was either the 3rd or 4th September, given the date of MP’s post.
So was this the real reason why SR and others wanted to send a letter to journalists in Georgia? They also knew that Zaza had gone, knew it was good for shareholders and tried desperately to throw a spanner in the works?
Just a theory....
Latest posts for JJ showing are from 13th & 14th June. Rest have gone walkies.......
tsbs1 if as we think jj carter has inside info then it would seem that we have been told indirectly, and would follow that we haven't been forgotten. Glass still half full, not for long though
Try looking at JJ.Carter's posts in LSE members, pyro. Unfortunately, you need membership of a windows app to read the info in the post (and I haven't got access or I'd just tell you).
I'm coming to the same conclusion as some of you good people, and that is that whatever is happening is mostly happening in Georgia. Absolute silence in California and Texas (apart from doc. 39). Also a very welcome hush from Hope, OMF, T.W.at and their nasty little creatures on this BB. No-one knows owt.
we shouldve been told though surely
Pyro
It was a very short message that later got deleted. It mirrored his earlier posts that started “you may find this interesting”. It said that Zaza had been removed from his CEO role for the company and all other roles. It hinted that this was a positive.
Does anyone remember any other details?
I would suggest Court case would continue until all documents and deals signed and agreed. Just lawyers would insist nothing stopped until completed. They also get paid longer (more)
Zaza going may be very promising indeed, deals for takeover, deal with GG
It could also be that things come to light that make him look bad and so resign as CEO was only option.
We need to keep this balanced , until we find out more.
Can anyone confirm what Mr Carter believed this was about and if positive?
How did he know this 19 days before anyone else. What date did Zaza leave? before he announced it or after?
Plenty of super sleuths on here to now dig in a certain direction and reveal the answers which will give us a better idea of whether is a glass of champagne this weekend or glass of council pop
I think it starts with striking a deal with the Georgians to ensure longevity on the patch. From there you can seal the deal with our SM friends and they pay off Hope, shut down the legals and settle out with your shareholders.
I think we're still sitting at the Georgian stage at the moment and Zaza stepping aside is part of the deal. We may well be about to move to the SM stage.
All my wild guesses!!
Bezzy
hopefully thats the case but would they need to carry on with court case if that was happening
Would have thought if Frr is no more then something would have come out in the media by now.
Enjoy
maybe we're about to be fully bought out and there's no longer a need for a CEO?
maybe he was threatened by the russians and thought it was better to leave and never say another word
My glass remains half full for now.
We could hypothesise and come up with many reasons for why this may be good or indeed bad. We've been doing this all along the journey to date at every turn of the page.
For what it's worth, this looks orchestrated. Clearly someone in the know saw this coming down the line. Makes me think this is planned, and I'd like to think in a good way.
Let's put it this way - I'm still happy to be long here. Not sure how I'd be feeling right now if I was on the other side of the fence.......
Bezzy
no bezzy i just feel this cant be good news
I agree Wham.
I originally was thinking it will have to wait till a western facing G gets in but the barrage of negitive press from zaza and other companies has been too much for GG to realistically win. perhaps they have seen sense hopefully and will announce the amazing news before the election and campaign on the back of it.
It would be great to come out of this nightmare
Cue StarDOOM
cheers
Aurora
Evening tsbs1,
Are you trying to be ironic?
Bezzy
and they didn't think to inform shareholders that the ceo had left
is it just me or is that totally appalling
IMO, if Zaza had walked because we’d lost everything, then he’d have already said something to someone publicly: we’d know it was all over. So he’s left in the knowledge that a deal is being struck - his presence was a distraction which the GG IMO couldn’t stomach. And fairly soon we’ll find out how we all fit into this endgame.
