No certificate here but ii still acknowledging my holding .
Sefton resources were US based O&G I think . Ditched a few years ago , I think shareholders received a payment roughly equalling £7 per Million shares . Perhaps you have forgotten you had them . On the bright side now they have found you if you had 140 odd million shares your a millionaire.
You guys having received certificates:- could you tell me if you received them directly from your Broker, Computershare or FRR please?
Interestingly I received a secure email from my Broker today and they reiterated the certificates had been sent to me and that It may be useful to note the corporate action notification refers to Sefton Resources. (Who are Sefton Resources?) They have also, as a good will gesture returned to me Octobers management fee, ha ha!! All I want to know is, where is my flippin certificate and although nothing may come of FRR there is surely a legal obligation on my Broker, computershare or FRR to provide me with one. They tell me if FRR do relist, I will have to contact computershare and have the shares put back into my Nominee account, how will that work, computershare have been less than useless? I could obviously contact the Ombudsman, but what is my complaint? Who should have sent me the certificates, no evidence of sending them but my Broker says they have been sent, do I really need them, who is legally responsible for sending them out etc etc.
Is most people that have not received their certificates content in the knowledge that should a relist occur, they will be able to square the circle because I am not. Any help, advice would be most appreciated
EQI told me to speak to Computershare who told me to speak to Frontera, outcome not even a mention of certificate - it’s out there somewhere..... but not in my hands.
Yes, I had the same email and will have gone full circle. Started with III and moved to Saga who were swallowed up by EQI and now looks like I am going back to III. Hope they all keep their paperwork and my FRR share certificates move with the change of Broker. Like you, I also took copies of periodic statements etc but if and when I need to make any claim you can just see all the brokers blaming each other and I will get nothing due to some technical error or something. I have raised a complaint with EQI because they informed me paper certificates had been posted to me and I have not received them. I have asked for the recorded delivery reference and they are now investigating but the whole situation smacks of gross incompetence.
More like a trample than a hop.
Maybe my holding will get resurrected when it gets there......
Hopefully mine will magically appear as a “holding” in II - it was my only holding, as far as EQi are concerned it’s only a small cash holding keeping the account open, on which I am still paying quarterly fees!
For whats it's worth, mine recently transferd from Share.com to ii. They appear there in ii. Also informed that ii will not charge me the £9.99 monthly fee whilst they are not tradable, so long as I have no other share or cash in the account. Moved all other shares and cash to HL.
Sorry for hopping onto this post but I’ve just received an e-mail from EQi (Selftrade) telling me my account will be transferred to II in the summer. Glad I printed my transaction records and record of the holding before de-listing but still don’t know how to prove my holding if this comes back.
Here is the news today. Rainbow, you need to leave cloude coockoo... radio silence is not good news. This is not political either. This went pear shaped because the nomad walked. The nomad walking had nothing to do with the political status of the country, it has nothing to do with anything in the USA. No super major is looking at georgia. This has more to do with company fraud and corrupt directors stealing from our business. Its time for action. That's the truth. Shareholders need to stop pussy footing around thinking its political. Its not. We need an action group with balls to push the company forward with new blood, thats prepared to actually talk to its shareholders That is the only way this can move forward. As ex employees will tell you... steer clear of frontera and its management.
