Morning Bezzy,
You are correct that's the same article. Thanks for posting - sorry the links no longer work.
.........However, the Frontera company was the first to appeal to the Kiev District Administrative Court, which filed a lawsuit against the Ministry of Energy and Coal, as well as the Interdepartmental Commission on the organization of conclusion and implementation of the production sharing agreement (PSA), on August 7, which demanded to cancel the competition results.
Morning Looed,
I couldn’t get the links to work but had a dig around to get this, which I believe you were referring to in the first of your posts:
Tomorrow Trident Acquisitions will decide whether to appeal against the Cabinet’s cancellation of its competition for the Dolphin PSA
[13:00 September 15, 2019]
SPAC (special purpose acquisition company) Trident Acquisitions Corp., recognized as the winner of the tender for the development of the Dolphin hydrocarbon shelf section under the Production Sharing Agreement (PSA) by the Interdepartmental Commission under the Ministry of Energy and Energy, will decide on September 16 whether to appeal the cancellation of the tender by the new government.
“Until Monday (September 16) I will not answer this question. On Monday, I’ll say, ”said Ilya Ponomarev Interfax-Ukraine , CEO and one of the shareholders of Trident Acquisitions, on the sidelines of the 16th YES Forum organized by the Victor Pinchuk Foundation in Kiev.
Speaking at the forum’s energy panel, he said that he considered the government’s decision to be a mistake, which meant a delay in exploring this section and attracting between $ 500 million and $ 2 billion of investments.
Ponomarev indicated that he considered this offshore project to be more promising than the onshore licenses with promising resources, rather than proven reserves, that were recently proposed at the State Geological Competitions.
At the same time, he said that Trident Acquisitions is ready to work in Ukraine with companies in partnership projects to expand their existing hydrocarbon production business.
Ponomarev said that such projects should be preceded by a major deal that unpacks SPAC. “We need to unpack the SPAC anyway, there must be one big deal for this. (Then) SPAC is unpacked, after that we can direct this money to something else, ”he explained.
As reported, the new government at a meeting on September 11 recognized the decision of the previous government of March 6 this year to launch a tender for the Dolphin site under the PSA conditions unfulfilled.
Four companies applied for participation: the American Trident Acquisitions, the American Frontera Resources Corporation, which owns the initiative to develop the Dolphin site for PSAs, controlled by the State Oil Company of the Republic of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) Caspian Drilling International Ltd and one of the largest private gas producers in Ukraine “Ukrnaftoburinnya”.
The previous Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman announced on July 27 his intention to invite the Cabinet to consider the possibility of announcing a new tender for the development of the Dolphin site. His initiative was supported by the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) of Ukraine Alexander Danilyuk.
Ponomarev responded by saying that the Trident Acquisitions, if the government announced a new show jumping, would challenge the decision in court. However, the Frontera company was the first to appeal
I came across another article discussing the wine meeting - this has a quote from SN and I am pretty sure that is Zaza in one of the smaller pictures. This article is dated 10 Sept, so apologies if already shared.

Ivy - I think this article is an "updated update" and say that Trident will make the decision today - 16th Sept - on the appeal.

Sadly I have come to conclusion that I agree.
Sculking around avoiding the very shareholders who he was regularly coming over to visit and keep sweet. Think this shows what our friend Zaza is really like. Not so much as a “Bear with us guys.” Just silence and blanking. It’s just not good at all. And people think he’s still going to come good after this. Nah sorry.
Spot on bedex!
Thanks Madpunter, that puts that theory of mine to bed then.
They must of thought that they had something to tell us!
Paulj I feel for you, I told my family the money has gone a good while back, not easy but moved on we have.
I still think there is more to come from this story yet and hope we will be rewarded for our troubles, but definitely not banking on it. The latest interview doesn’t suggest any good news for us investors any time soon.
I'm afraid this is where we get mixed up in diversions, as ever, with frr.
I could not give a toss about Moldova or the Dolphin bid.
Nor about whether SN and Zaza are enjoying a glass or two in a vineyard.
The only thing I am bothered about is wtf is going on in Georgia and are we likely to get anything at all out of our support for the Company?
12 months of B****e followed by 9 months of silence is not on. In fact it is pure contempt!
Flakey5185 - The posts in the links to the Frontera Archive show that the news tab appeared after the Dolphin result.

Trying to get my head around why the news tab appeared and then got taken down from FRR’s website. Did the tab appear before the winner of the Dolphin tender was announced? Did FRR expect to be announced as the winner & do the timings work out?
Think on Dolphin
Overall on Dolphin any holder will only be thinking on Frr sorting Georgia out, but one thing is that cannot see how Frr can even think on Georgia unless things was at least looking positive on a nice looking outcome.
So at moment, at least we have some positive vibes through Dolphin.
Let's concentrate on one thing are we a going concern or is it game over why dont they just update shareholders we have been kept in dark for too long. 9 months and nothing complete and utter joke. Who is actually bothered about dolphin when we are struggling in Georgia as it is? Cant get my head round it
The court hearing due this week on Dolphin would be thinking is no longer happening.
So this has been added today is this bit
“Now our legal team will evaluate the position to appeal to the court, both Ukrainian and international. We definitely can’t just agree with this decision – it will be a violation of the rights of our shareholders,” Ponomarev stated on Sept. 15.
So Trident are seeking to appeal
