Arsenal - Yes, in all the articles I have read none seem to mention the co-signers. They all focus on the Senator and now they try to dismiss him as "just" a lobbyist.
For 'just' a lobbyist he has generated a lot of media interest in the region.
ODR - thanks.
I read it the same way. They seem to imply that FRR and the USA 'invented' the gas to scam Georgia. Therefore USA & Co can't be trusted = best leave to to Russia. At the same time the article does admit that in the 1990's ...."Russia was scared that Azerbaijan had found several huge deposits on the Caspian shelf and would soon take our country's place in the oil market." So perhaps they fear the same thing is about to happen.

Great work again & on the paragraph concerning the writer being a lobbyist that just shows he is doing his job, in bringing this out in Congress. Will add that as the letter was signed by a big hitter then that shows it is not just down to the writer doing his job, if that is the case.
Looed: great work; thanks for sharing.
The first article you shared in the early hours seems fundamentally flawed to me in that it focuses mainly on suggesting that there is little gas there. If that was the belief then surely the GG wouldn't be trying to get the block back? They would let Frontera extract and take their wedge. The fact this fight is happening is proof that there is a significant asset involved.

Typo in second to last line
point = don't
I am finding more Russian articles that follow a similar line to the ones I posted earlier so I won't repost here. But one part did catch my eye in its claim that :-
"Georgian media and economic experts also note that Congressman Mullin, who spoke out in defense of Frontera, is its official lobbyist." https://vz.ru/news/2020/1/19/1018948.html
The article provides no proof of this. From memory we did discuss lobbying before and I (with others) posted info that showed FRR working with more than one lobby firm and I point recall this senator's name showing up.
