Zaza needs to pay those workers in the next few days even if he does so out of his own pocket.
There’s lots of belief in here that the oil sales revenue would have been used to pay off YA first. That’s not my belief. Surely you pay your staff first to keep the company running and renegotiate debt , after all we have done that with YA in the past.
I’m still hoping no news is good news.
If the workers are on strike then that would be a real problem. It would depend for how long, an indefinite strike till pay could sink the company as it relies on its revenue stream to keep up. Hopefully they have got some money to keep things ticking over till at least the arbitration is resolved or some sort of temporary resolution with the workers is reached. If things really are that bad there, Zaza might need to dip into his pockets to loan the company some money to pay some of the workers pay to get them back at it if that's the case. I will feel happier when the arbitration is done & the workers have been paid. More happier when we get back to a full official statement from the company of what had been happening and if course relisting, buyout, etc.
Nice post CF73, reflecting the doldrums in which we presently find ourselves. Hopefully the January winds will be favourable in the new year and we finally emerge from this mess with the rewards we all deserve. GLA
Haven't had the chance to take a look in to this BB recently but have to admit have not felt any urgent to either,
As far as I was concerned, the last piece os seemingly material news (regarding GG refunding us) pointed to a positive outcome somewhere down the line and that we already knew that Jan 2020 would be a general timefarme regarding news on arbitration. Come to accept the wait till then.
We all know that timeline (unless there has been other news that supercedes this that I am still to catch up on). The wait in between is what it is, nothing else. Can't be getting down over waiting till Jan 2020. Bored, I can understand. But haven't seen anything that would suggest I should be any more worried than I was a month ago. In fact, am more confident than I was a month ago.
Good luck to the genuine folks here!
