In the mine prophets interview or question as answer session Geneva was mentioned at some point for the first time.
I hope not as London is the quickest and cheapest arbitration centre in the world.
I think Next likes to do share buy backs and some of the bigger plc. I guess with Bod having lots of shares then they would also like to see sp growth and sell some on? They keep getting shares for wages so they’ll want to shift on.
They’ll set an amount and an sp top level I think and then over severAl months buy in appropriate amounts so as not to rattle the sp too high for ever. I guess many will sell so 308 million shares, tomorrow they declared 20 million in share buy back up to 15 p that would be minimum of 133 million shares if a Available. Of course people might hang on for higher so they might not get that many but the sp would be 15 p and the rest in cash. They can then watch and announce a new sp buying price or not.
They said it saves on tax, would be capital gains but mYbe they write it off against something else or inside Sipp or another business method, for the bod it’s about his and what they sell in order to negate tax.
I know CG has stated a possibility for a share buy back once the case is won. Not to sure how that works. Surly the SP will rise according to the size of the win so won't that make them expensive to buy them back? I suppose buying them back maintains the SP while a special Divi will deflate it? Any thoughts out there?
I thought it was London, has this now changed ?
In 12 months time that will be the burning question. We haven’t even decided the arbitration country or process yet yet. Originally London, now it may be Geneva as it’s neutral ground, who knows?
I just want to see more contracts announced this year and the revenues come in. No more disappointing trading statements or dilution please!
Come on answer the question, don’t duck it ??
What’s your thoughts on an amount? We know they’ve already decided on share buyback instead so take some out of the market, what your number ????
I bought shares Thursday when fxpo went ex divi into IPF, they just won £45 million in polish tax case and this may set off a early Return to divi early or do a special one??
Good luck to all
This is like the length of string! I suppose one element is where would we be now if that hadn't happened? Then there's distraction, time, effort and costs. There's also the effect on the Stone Alliance progress, or not, as the case may be.
So quarry back, no debt, enough cash to invest in any needed equipment and also to promote Stone Alliance and future block sales. You then double that and accept 75%.
How much are we putting in the case? Let’s assume it’s win, what kind of total do you then think Fox would get rewarded?
