It’s certainly not settled and at this stage how to understand how it will be, a sniff of corruption and people understandably run for the hills.
I think it can, could be recovered but nothing concrete to suggest this, just I guess hope and wish of success
I too have just sold up. I was reluctant to do so as there is a future in quarrying in Kosovo. I bought in because of A - there is lots of good stone and B - the Kosovo government seemed on board and C - there was a future tie up with the USA re Stone Alliance.
I knew the politics would be a bit dodgy but I didn't reckon on the local mafia getting in on the act! All credit to Chris Gilbert and the BoD for getting Fox viable but now it is the politics are just a little to Wild West for me.
I’ve started putting into legal and general. Over 8% divi and at current prices well worth a look.
There is an offer in for my Easyhotel shares so will cash out some with at least 40% gain.
Another share delisted several years ago has just applied for re listing. Hopefully this turns around
Good philosophy, and as long as you are net up who can argue? I too have had my share of disasters (too many and painful to admit too) but also successes. I have reached a stage now where I plan to 'leave' the market as soon as I can tidy up remaining holdings. I want to go on holiday without worrying about the price or oil/ gold/ copper/ individual shares. Hope all works out, the situation isn't a dire as many I can think of. I suspect its not as bad as Sirius tbh!
i would agree. i'm and leaving where is. i've always taken the view of investing as best i can and then some will come through, some wont. i've lost cash, gained alot of cash, slowly going in the right direction.
Got to be careful how I say this - considering that a great many investors have paid sub 10p for this share, the fact that it is still 5p (or thereabouts). despite what appears to be a gathering storm, is a bit of a gift for those who now have serious doubts. Yes to sell now will inevitably incur a loss, maybe substantial, but at least will give back some value. Trouble with a lot of companies that run into serious problems, by the time investors are aware and 'take stock' the SP is 90% down and so shrug their shoulder and say 'may as well stay in now'. Here there is more of a decision to make.
Interesting people are now getting out I would imagine and some loss, better cash than non at all!
I’ve had one business go into admin recently, small loss from the gain I had made in the company years ago. I’ve also had one delisted business for years now put forward a new prospectus to list once again in Canada with the promise of more to follow.
It’s a really risky business, ironically I think as Fox gets closer to making far more money no doubt ear prick up and everyone comes out the wood work wanting a slice.
Not sure I believe the internet or paper articles, not because of what they say more because most news now a days seems far from the truth. However as they say no smoke without fire.
It’s going to be a hairy few weeks and months. There is no actual need to report any numbers bar I guess significant impact on the business then shareholders are entitled to be made aware.
If it’s at the lawyers then I can understand the silence which will be requested. It’s more than dodgy rns which can arrive any time saying admin has arrived, total collapse. Is there the will and cash to cross over a few hands and make this go away. The quarry needs the fox plant, the plant wants the marble!!
