Otd............Took a brief look.....what is posted via the link is three years old and archived..can't upvote on it either...perhaps we could jump in and get some updated news flowing...........
Here is falcons current Reddit exposure. Might be worth an upvote ;) https://www.reddit.com/r/pennystocks/comments/5zvi8x/thoughts_on_folgf/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf
Thanks Darnit -- a truly amazing and surprisingly powerful bunch of retail traders that can defy almost all logic when it comes to GameStop. They must have all been hard core gamers when they were younger and loved going into Game
Stop (EB Games in Canada) just like my son used to, as that place cost me a small fortune. If we could get them to just look at Falcon -- who knows how high they could drive something that has real future potential versus past potential -- LOL.
New, in case you have any interest in the drama, the Reddit crowd, Wallstreetbets is jamming the shorts on GME after hours, stock has moved from $45 to $170 today.
BCnatgas -- you are entirely correct -- as I am an idiot for not putting you on the ignore/filters list a long time ago, but was hoping that at some point you might post something relevant to all FO holders, -- no such luck. You can make all the snide comments you want now and I won't ever see them -- which is a relief.
Ultimately......what is in the ground will pay us.......and, in my opinion that will be anywhere from $1 to $8 US/Share depending on who makes the purchase based on timing. The longer we are forced to wait the more that will be known/proven vs contingent etc. Simple math easily points to a range of possibilities given the massive acreage and what is being revealed by others (Santos/Empire/Etc) in the play not to mention the governments commitment to help get the resources to the surface. That in itself is telling. Yes, I would take $0.50/share US today but that is driven by current life matters. But, I think if we wait that is likely going to be much much higher. Even a future $1.00/US/Share is worth a long-term future smile. I think and hope....likely much higher. Bottom line....as I think Dprussky voiced....I think a deal with Origin is already on the back of the napkin and will be the lowest payer to Falcon....it just makes the most sense. A deal that could be sooner rather than through a long-term wait.
Folks...let's all calm down. Name calling and bashing another's opinion on moves and /or buy/sell moves isn't doing us or this stock any justice. We are all frustrated with where we sit at this juncture....especially us long-term holders. I too am frustrated and hold huge questions regarding the current leadership as well as Origin's commitment to making good and timely decisions. I do honestly believe their is a hidden agenda or we would be in a better place given what is known and what is likely to be....time will tell. As I previously posted....I've never held as many question marks toward this stock as I do now, but I need to stay.....and, with that, I do believe we will be rewarded well in the end. Painful as the wait has been and may continue for a year or so. BC.....Reddit is not just a short sale players platform and r/pennystock has a huge amount of international followers as well as other boards on Reddit......no need to beat on Newto for his view......he actually has a decent idea if we could get international interest playing in on FOG through and on the many Reddit boards. Fine if you want to call me an idiot too....big smile is all that will get from me. All that said......bashing each other will not change where we are.
TDfalcon,
That’s not what the choice was - if we were guaranteed $1-$2 in the next few years it wouldn’t be a choice. I’d take the $1-$2. That being said, yes I may be “whining” and I haven’t been in Falcon any where near as long as some, but I guess that’s just frustration talking. I continue to hold and have a large amount of shares. I’ll even probably buy when it dips into the .07s in the next week or so. The fact is, as stated before, I’d rather ride this to $0 than sell and have it hit big! That would be too painful.
Bcfullofgas....you validate my point. My ars is fine...sell, ***** more, or grow some balls.
Well said tda4falcon and my vote is with you -- as a buck is my own personal selling point which might come some day, but not soon enough LOL.
If anyone can point to a post by BCnatgas that has contributed to our knowledge on Falcon or has anything positive in any of his rantings -- then please let me know -- otherwise he is going on to the filters list with the other idiots.
10 years at 10% per year?.....or we sell at a buck or two a share upon commercial proof? I say the latter. Math lives matter.....lol. Most deeply buried up to our neck in Falcon shares, are very optimistic. A few of you day trading for pennies whiners exist only for the chance to complain. Get over it.
LONGWAIT and mooseknucke, while there are certainly some investors that have thrown in the towel and moved on to greener pastures (since we are throwing around colloquial sayings) -- most of the investors on this board are more or less stuck with hanging on for the long haul on Falcon.
Most of the time -- the sell side volumes are generally quite low -- as both day traders and smaller shareholders can sell without causing the share price of Falcon to drop almost to zero. However, if you are holding hundred's of thousands of shares or even a million (which a fair number of the regular posters do) -- trying sell that position in Falcon would crater the stock.
One of the truly amazing things about Falcon is that the massive stock float of a billion shares -- doesn't translate into any significant daily sales volume -- (as most knowledgeable investors can see the upside potential). This leaves the higher volume owners stuck waiting for the final sale to come into focus. A clear path to a sale will kick the volume up into the nose bleed levels (more colloquialisms).
An interesting conjecture (that Stebol and others have speculated in the past), is that many of us have been here for so long -- that even if the daily trading volumes would allow us to sell -- good old stubbornness and some underlying faith that the Beetaloo will eventually be proved commercial -- keeps us locked into the dream even with years and years of missed deadlines -- LOL.
Long wait,
I think you’re probably right. ESP as the opportunity cost in today’s market becomes more and more evident. Just think what Falcon money invested 10 years ago would be worth today. I have pretty much given up on this being a home run if I’m honest with myself. If I can double my investment (I’m probably all in at around .13 US$) that’s about all I can ask for. That said, here’s a little poll.
You have 2 choices only.
A- you get paid $.35/share today and you’re out.
B- you take your chances
At this point I’d have to take A
I think what has happened is that more and more investors have thrown in the towel.
They don't believe that future RNSs will contain anything other than news of more delays.
Into the $.08s. $.07s to follow. I may buy again in the $.07s, but without real news for another 4 months this could see $.05s
Havent looked at the price for a while, what has happened to this stock. Can anyone elaborate, wow!
