Sorry, thumbs as fingers!
Market rout intensifies as new lockdowns loom – according to news the whole of the European market is falling due to worry over more lockdowns. This would be a great time for POQ to drop a cheery Christmas message to us all, with the message of Great Flow Results and Good Health to all! GLA.

the whole market's in risk off mode...it's a bummer
TSX has dropped another 2 cents on almost one million shares sold in the first half hour, eliminating most of the current run-up on Falcon on that exchange. Not sure if it is bad news or just the lawyers selling off more Petrohunter shares??
gnoles, ROCK, FOLGF is the symbol (and issue) of Falcon over-the-counter... it is OTCBB, and that's exactly what ROCK and others want to get away from. On the LSE, Falcon trades under the symbol FOG. On the TSX, it trades under FO. I have found that I can typically get a better price, and a more advantageous FOREX buying FOG:GB on the LSE. As gnoles said, it's simple to set up the Fidelity account. Start by putting in a few bucks, then one 5min phone call with a human to get access to international trading, and you're set. But I don't understand why you would do that and then buy OTCBB instead of an issue on a foreign exchange (i.e. LSE) and not get a better price and WAY more liquidity in the process. Just my personal view. Yes, the OTCBB for Falcon goes through Toronto, but why not deal with markets directly rather than dealing with market makers who's job it is to literally manipulate both the price and the volume of the stock bought and sold. I'm not a fan of market makers. Be well folks... here's to good news soon on the flow tests.
Yes, and the race started already many years ago. Here you can read the preliminary results from 2015. https://www.hartenergy.com/exclusives/taking-bite-out-big-mac-28082
Oleo, Tamboran is probably at least a year or two behind Falcon in reaching anything close to a similar level of success.
The Amungee H1 horizontal has already proven up the mid-Velkerri to a fair degree for us, and any success next door by Santos on two horizontals in the mid-Velkerri will further lend credence to Origin's estimates of 496 TCF dry gas in place across out permits -- without costing us a dime.
Tamboran hasn't even started raising their massive 25% share of the upcoming drilling costs with Santos, while Falcon is already covered for the next almost $200 million in Aussie drilling costs with Origin. Finally, the Lower Kyalla wet gas zone, (while not proven for Falcon/Origin so far with news somewhat imminent) is a Falcon exclusive as evidenced by the NT Minerals and Resources dept.
Empire thought they might have some of the Lower Kyalla wet gas way over on their permit, but while they did find wet gas in the Velkerri (which is also good news for Falcon and Origin's mid-Velkerri that extends on the Eastern portion of Falcon's permits right through to Empire's permit) Empire did not find any significant depth to the limited amount of the Lower Kyalla that far to the East.
Who will...
Although the how is interesting too.
"Tamboran, backed by two huge US funds, is heading for an ASX sharemarket listing early next year, either through an IPO of up to $195 million or a reverse takeover of a listed junior. It is one of several players working – amid opposition from environmental groups – to firm up a potentially huge gas resource in the NT that could prove to be Australia's answer to the US "shale gale". The explorer, which holds 25 per cent of the exploration venture with Santos, is also backed by Rich Lister Paul Fudge, who made billions from the sale of coal seam gas acreage during Queensland's CSG boom."
How will make more money and faster in the Beetaloo? Paul Fudge with Tamboran or the Fog team?
Origin told us that they willl deliver results in the 4th Quarter 2020 and extend test 1st Quarter 2021, every ones hope they will say about initial flow, but they did not say they will do that. Hold and wait
And all fingers crossed that we do not see a high water cut. ( I still do not like the water saturation measurements that were published somewhere here )
Perhaps somebody could copy the foto from the Australian Financial Review?
The foto shows the flare and it could be the 2.3 MM cft/d rate. If somebody else could get a foto from our Fog test well we could compare the size of the flares to get an idea of the potential?
I have several Fidelity accounts and they work great. Your only problem is once you set up the account you have to call in and get them to approve you for overseas trades. Falcon is FOLGF on Fidelity. Just picked up another 10,000 shares yesterday under .14 US. Trade was instant.
GREAT IDEA! I'm on TD as well... may look at Fidelity to the future! the OTCBB is making me pull my hair out. Unless you've used it, you can't explain it. THANKS
You folks in The Sates (I'm in VA myself) who are going OTCBB will spin your wheels... I've been there.
The solution I came up with, and it's served me well, was to open a 2nd trading account with Fidelity (my other one is with TD), and set myself up with international trading (very easily done). Now I can trade on many exchanges in real time, and in either USD or their currency. Main reasons I did this was for buying FOG on the LSE and/or TSX, and to have access to the ASX. The lack of liquidity in the OTCBB can be maddening... and it's cost me some dollars. Just a thought.
Mr Riddle said the better than expected results from Tanumbirini-1 augured well for a low number of wells to be required for a commercial project, reducing costs.
"That's where the productivity of the Beetaloo really differentiates itself versus other areas of Australia: it's big, it's highly productive and it can solve these shortfalls with just a handful of wells," he said.
!!!!! "This is why I believe this is the hottest play on the planet ... definitely within the OECD countries." !!!!!
We as Fog oldtimer we know and hope that this dream becomes the reality since a decade and bet our money on that bird. "Within the western world, the OECD" and that should be the argument that Fog could ask for a higher strategic price. Outside of the US there is the Vaca Muerta for example , another very interesting shale gas/ oil play. But Argentinia is ripping of the oil companies, changing the rules, forcing the oil companies to sell the produced hydrocarbons for the domestic market at a lower price than the international oilprice (means for the oil companies: suddenly the input for their business case is wrong). I think it was Chevron that has written in their contract with the Argentinian government that if they go to court the court will be in NY. And Argentina is desperate since 1920 . Once they were one of the richest countries and today their state owned plane is confiscated when it lands on the wrong airport because nowadays they do or cannot not pay back their bonds . As a result they desperately try to get more money from investors by changing the rules. Compared to Argentina , Australia reduced the political risks since the Australian politicians support the positive outcome of the moratorium in NT and overrule the green lock the gate minions. Wasn t it money from Qatar for example that sponsored one of the shale gas critical Hollywood films, when it became clear that the US is not going to build 10, 15 LNG import harbours for LNG (from Qatar) after the US had this new gas production success with shale gas and did not need to import any LNG anymore. The buyer of Fog should understand that with the Beeteloo he gets an asset with gas, condensate and with the stability of the rules in Australia. Especially when I see the prices paid for shale gas/ oil take overs in the US recently (Chevron, Pioneer, Devon , Conoco etc) I start to wear my rose tinted glasses again.
I observed the same pattern as long knive . I even tried it once more and had a order higher than the ask(!) but was not served. Does not look like an effective market neither . Anyway the war will be won or lost with the measured flowrates of gas and hydrocarbon condensate at the wellhead.
somewhat unusual majority of the trades were in London.... with the few big buys of 420,000 shares
Long Knife. Sorry...I got nothing. I found out in Canada orders are distributed to other exchanges, and as a result we don’t always have visibility into all open orders. Was eye opening for me.
Gosh, what happened to the share price this evening. Did they have a breakdown at the flare and some australian cowboys in the neighborhood sold their Fog shares because they do not see the burning flare anymore? ;-)
Or do we get more saltwater than hydrocarbons during testing?
Come on Fog, tell Org that we need some infos, now.
Oil country
The US mkt
Thanks
I'm on the OTCBB also... it IS a whole nother' animal.
LK, the OTCBB is a totally different animal than the venture, you dont get filled automatically if your on the ask.
Longknife - what exchange are you trading on? I might have an answer...
