Schlemiel - Yep - it's packed with apocalyptic visions but apparently some believe this board needs to keep things fair and balanced. I wouldn't want to mislead any poor unsuspecting souls who didn't understand the true intent of this board. If Naomi and Graeme were to stumble into this board I would want them to feel included :^)
Right on ! POQ has a habit of making poor decisions, and deceiving stockholders.
I wondered what was taking the MM’s so long to put this in the 13’s.....c’mon ya pussies let’s see you embarrass y’self further and hit my average in the 12’s
Bear case: 1) relentless stock price weakness, 2) deal placement at 52 week low, eroding credibility of CEO (mkt price currently below placement price), 3) no drilling approval as of late June. Bull case: “I’m hearing all is well”, from a poster who VERY sarcastically earned a nickname “The Oracle”. This poster is the man/woman who floated a forced buyer, scoffed at a private placement possibility (only to issue a “thumbs up” to POQ after the raise), and denies the obvious Schlemiel/Soly connection. LOL!!
WW
That article's packed with 'trigger' terms designed to incite an apocalyptic vision. It is classic left wing propaganda without recourse to the facts, truth and reason. And where's that other idiot Naomi? She's fallen silent for some reason
Namu: Here you go - you want negative articles posted - here is one for your enjoyment - Once again Protect Country Alliance spokesperson Graeme Sawyer at his finest. Hope you learn something.
Last days for fracking no-go zone responses

Local News
The proposed no-go zones for fracking do not include the Katherine municipality. Graphic: NT Government.
People have until Friday to comment on the NT Government's planned no-go zones for fracking in the NT.
Katherine Town Council has already responded on behalf of its residents after they discovered Katherine township was in a no-go zone but the municipality was not.
Have your say here.
Lock the Gate wants Territorians to reject the NT Government's planned no-go zone fracking maps, which it claims place communities, high-value farmland and important cultural and ecological sites at risk.
The public has a few days left to comment on the mapping.
Lock the Gate has produced its on mapping on the subject.
Protect Country Alliance spokesperson Graeme Sawyer said it was madness for the government to be considering sacrificing so much water and land to the industry, particularly with the Territory now struggling off the back of one of the driest wet seasons in history.
"Fifty-one per cent of the Northern Territory is still not protected from invasive fracking, including key catchment areas, high-value agricultural land, and town water supplies," Mr Sawyer said.
"Important sites of cultural and ecological significance like Lake Woods, a critical breeding site for dozens of threatened bird species including the Gouldian Finch, and the recharge zones of Mataranka thermal springs are also in danger according to the government's plans.
"The catchment areas or flow rates for the Daly, Roper and Katherine Rivers which support important recreational fishing and tourism and provide the life blood to Mataranka, Katherine, the lower Daly and broader regional communities will be affected.
"Companies like Origin Energy and Santos are planning to start fracking as early as next month, but the government's mapping leaves critical farming, fishing, tourism areas and natural and cultural assets under threat of gasfield development."
"We are urging all Territorians, and all those who love the Territory, to let the NT Government know their no-go zones do not go far enough to protect the NT."
Namu and BO - Please ignore the following statement as it is not from God's mouth to my ears.
I am hearing all is well. This may not help much for those who question such a simple statement but that's about the sum of what I know. Maybe we will know more in a week.
I'm still wondering if there is some type of negotiations going on before final approval of the actual Kyalla well EMP --just pondering an opinion. From what I can tell everything is still on go for July.
Fingers crossed!
These are my worries also, when things start happening out of the blue after being told we are well funded through 2020, you have to take a step back. Something is up here and I feel we are not fully informed, hopefully I’m wrong but unfortunately I’ve seen this before. Sit back and watch I guess!!
Seems Soly may not be as crazy as most think...I have been along for this ride since approx. 2005 ànd this stock price has made no sense. It has been manipulated.
It seems everytime before big announcement the stock would trade at around 52 weeks low. If you remember 2016 before we hit .36$ we were trading at about .06$ few months before. (If i remember correctly we were drilling at that time) It did not make any sense then and it does not make any sense now. I think somebody who is very wealthy is just simply ****ed and settling the scores with POQ and the board..... by unloading their shares and laughing at us. I am sure they do not give 2s..ts if they loose or make money on this deal.
In light of what we know to be true, this should have a .30 US floor and be an easy double by December. Without promotion, there’s enough smart money out there to buy up all stock available with that return. Yet here we are, presumably within weeks, if not days of having permits approved, and we trade at levels prior to the moratorium being lifted. The CEO says absolutely no need to raise capital this year and before the bit hits the ground, 50million shares issued at almost 52 week low. Makes no sense to me. I get the fact that Origin and FO can’t be promoting the shite out of this without having a permit in hand. I get the fact the regulations are just being finalized and permits can’t be issued until they are. But if everything was moving based upon what we all know to be true, we would be moving higher as we get closer to permits being issued. Yet, we drift lower. My experience says we’re not being told something. The downward pressure is not day traders as the only money to be made would be shorting. No idiot would be short a stock with low daily volume and good news being anticipated any day. Someone is unloading a position and they don’t seem to care about the price. With the anticipated value in a few months...the question is why unload a big position now? I’m sure we’ll know soon enough...
Oilcountry99 / Schlemiel:
Seems Origin/Falcon have missed a great opportunity to kick off this project with the issuance of some type of positive news release concerning the issuance of the civil EMP and the subsequent initial plans for building roads/pads, etc. I am not usually one to cast doubt but as Oilcountry states the stock price is not acting like good news is just around the corner. There may just be something like last minute negotiations regarding adherence of some of the new regs into the EMP. It just seems like things haven't been fully signed off on. Maybe its something like the evaporation pond issue - Origin might be trying to improve the economics of the EMP before it is set in stone. Time will tell - I'm betting things get kicked off this year - I just hope sooner rather than later.
From what I am hearing POQ has been pretty quite as of late. Tells me he is keeping his head down until the official go ahead is given.
Who the hell's raised the spectre of a delayed drill? I have no insider knowledge but from all the evidence I have seen all is on track for drilling this dry season. If it is delayed Canavan and Morrison will kick Gunner, Lawler and Kirby's arse.

If drilling is going to be delayed....we didn’t need to raise capital now...so still feel the timing is wrong. Simply waiting until the drill bit hit the ground should have provided the opportunity to raise at a higher ASP with less dilution. The only thing for sure is something is going on that we are not aware of. In my experience....things usually trade in the direction of news...and this is going in the wrong direction....
unfortunately this article did not produced any credible experts "some experts doubt it will stack up" . In my book it failed a sniff test to be posted and it is clearly pushing agenda
Naminanu -- all relevant articles are welcome even negative ones as that helps to expand the knowledge base. So definitely post whatever you have found that is negative, but if this ABC article is what your talking about -- which is full on anti-frack leaning innuendo, but it certainly is not a negative from an Origin or Falcon perspective, so worth a read through for sure.
If drilling is indeed delayed (as subtlety implied by a new article that nobody has yet posted here; only post bullish articles, right?) - then the recent capital raise begins to make more sense.
Curious if anyone has heard if Origin or Santos has done anything ATM with regards to getting the area set-up under the Civil EMPs. I do hope they will begin that now to give some confidence along with some kind of press release.
Darwin -- not Dublin.
There is no question that this entire process of getting the final regulations and Code of Practice legislated into place with the result that the earliest drilling could start is probably a month away. This will most likely kill any chances of of frack test on the second well, but certainly leaves enough time for the full Monty on the lower Kyalla well. Since Philip does not have any way of putting added pressure on the Gunner led socialists -- I am sure there is some on going angst about when Gunner will finally get this approval done as the road show hinges on that timing.
One thing I am fairly confident about is that NT government does not want this year's drilling season to slip by. There has been way too much political capital spent in Dublin and in Canberra to get this year's drilling under way. Any failure to do so will have a serious political and financial backlash for Gunner as all department heads have now stated that exploration drilling is starting this year. Gunner will be starting his political campaign for re-election next year and a failure this year on his promises that exploration on the largest Australian gas field will go ahead - will be a serious set back in his chances of forming the next government.................
