Did someone leave the cage door open..the Muppets
have been out over the weekend…
That apart, a RNS is well and truly overdue, delayed
in part by various board buys..
Hold on to your caps we could have lift-off sonner than we thought …
Thanks for your post Davey, and I hope that, before roly had my post removed, you saw the one I made in which I thanked yourself, NTM and Dan The Man for your contributions to the board. I said that it was nice to have sensible discussion, reasoned debate and polite conversation about FLX - something we no longer get from the scoundrels.
But on to your latest point, and I am not being contradictory purely for the sake of an argument. I make my points to explain my opinion on the future direction for the FLX sp.
Your comment brought back memories for me. Go back on here and you will see how I used to post exactly the same sort of comments in my arguments with FK1. I used points like that to show that he was wrong with his forecasts that the sp would drop.
In 2019 - FLX had this to say - "... growth plans such as SolarWinds which is expected to start benefiting in the year ended 31 March 2020".
- and -
"The combination of strong and growing demand for the Falanx Cyber portfolio of services, market pull of the MSP 'Channel' model and the unique opportunity offered by SolarWinds, indicate another year of high growth ahead"
It was that sort of thing that made me increase my holding in FLX. I used to keenly post the "good news" from the announcements. I ignored words such as "expects" and took it as certain that the good times would come along. I doubt that there was anyone on here who was more bullish about FLX than me.
Eventually I got fed up of waiting (and I waited for quite a few years) for the good times and I came to realise that FK1 was always right. I didn't know how he did it, but he was always right about the sp.
Others have come along on this board - roly, squadron, SL100, and others - and when counterpoint was put to them, they quickly became insulting and abusive.
You seem like a genuine person, so I wish you good luck and it could possibly be that the time really has now arrived when the past investment in the business will pay off for FLX. It will be interesting to see.
Did you read their interim results Noel. " Falanx expects this to start benefitting the next
financial year" so that is this year Noel not last or year before. I mean give them a chance. I bought in recently and I see a growing company backed with a lot of cash and to me it looks great value. Like 99% of stocks atm they are being dragged in this bear market where buyers are few and far between unless they suddenly jump 20% then everybody wants to buy in. Remember all the buying when it spiked to 1p and 1.1p recently. The only cloud is Amati overhang, when that goes or finds a new home I think this will double quickly. I think you are known as a stale bull, you hold but have been in so long you tend to post more negative than positive. I'm like that in Ovb where it will be a 3 year hold soon and price still has gone nowhere although I have traded a couple of 100% spikes so cannot complain.
CORRECTION - " I invited anyone to let me know if I had missed anything on those pages and tell me that FLX did appear, but there was response." - that should have been -"but there was NO response"
Something else that got me excited and influenced me to buy more FLX shares was the tie-up with SolarWinds - did that ever pay off?
Over the years, we have seen FLX launch several new products that got people on this board quite excited - and I am going back to the days when I was bullish on FLX and I was one of the ones who got over-excited. It was hoping for a boost in sales and jump in the sp that made me buy more and I ended up with a considerable holding. Sadly I learned the hard way that FK1 is always right.
It will be interesting to see if this time it is different.
EDR is a growing market and M-EDR is a crucial component to combat the threats posed as organisations evolve, the way they work changes, and the threats become more sophisticated. Together ESET, Falanx Cyber and Grove have the software, solutions, tools, and people to drive further adoption of an M-EDR solution.
The service has been live for some time and will be formally "launched" at CYBERUK 2022. The National Cyber Security Centre is proud to present CYBERUK 2022, the UK Government's flagship cyber security event, in ICC Wales, Newport on 10-11 May 2022.
So, the cry baby finds it strange does he? It wasn't strange to me. I recently pointed out that FLX didn't appear in any of those pages listing cyber companies that have government contracts. Didn't the cry baby find that strange? I invited anyone to let me know if I had missed anything on those pages and tell me that FLX did appear, but there was response.
I find it strange that FLX were not a named exhibitor at Cyberuk 2022, or were they under the ESET umbrella ? any ideas ?
Davey, would you kindly provide the link to that blurb you posted.
I'm wondering if that is an independent review, or is it what the company says about itself.
