This company is going to look a whole lot different by the end of the year with some new personnel and maybe EB 's mangement portfolio brought into being serviced .Whether or not he goes the whole hog and reverses Chelsfiled stuffedfullof quality properties in remains to be seen. Whatevert the outcome an exciting journey awaits
So expect to see EB moving FK into a fully fledged property company Probably already got a portfolio targeted to shift in and a pool of well heeled investors who are more than happy to throw their lot in with the alchemist tio asssit .
Elliott was striking deals with Town & City Properties in the 60s barely out of his teens , Integrataed his estate agents Michael Laurie with a merchant bank in the 80s Stockley Park and today his Chelsfield is stuffed full of trophy buildings around the worldThe cavalry ahve arrived
So EB waiting for the poor results to get out of the way before sealing a deal Already bought tsome of the A- team in. Fasten seat belts and enjoy the ride
This property minnow is going to turn into a big fish
Just look at he crown jewels EB can reverse in here to make this sing . Life in the old dog yet https://www.chelsfield.com/en/about/
David Fletcher and Elliot Bernard both carved their niche agency practices in Mayfair from the 70s to the 90s . EB at Michael Laurie Both succesful and EB was the 1st one to bring in a mercahnt bank Morgan Grenfell before he launched Stockley Park FK one of the 1st commercial agents to list
This is going to blow big time
Mr wheeker dealer himself EB looking for another vehicle as a swansong Wonder if he is going to get Robin Butler on board
Mcap looks silly. Multibag folks
British property tycoon Elliott Bernerd
Low free float, big hitter Elliott Bernerd.. Could go bananas here when news gets out
Boom nice...
Long term holder here. Sold up today at a small loss. The future of London property is too uncertain in the medium term, as FLK have very honestly stated. I think it is time to go, and watch from the sidelines.
David Fletcher set this up sometime ago looking to spread out to the regions .Those days are long over What it is though is a useful vehicle for someone to reverse into .Maybe that will be his last trick
A 0.5p dividend is announced today, but this is off the back of a SHIP sale that would normally generate a special dividend of perhaps ten times that much. They comment "We have now moved into even more uncertain times and it is impossible to accurately assess our future trading performance in current market conditions. "
Interims here today forecast a loss for the first half. Conditions remain hard, so it may well be that we see a small loss on the year. Interestingly no mention was made of an interim dividend, so this will be lost in the mists of falling rents!
Anyway, this company, though small and illiquid, can be seen as a bell weather for the London property market. The last year there was no interim dividend was 2010, and the last year a loss was recorded was 2009. This may well be a true mark of darker things to come, in property and perhaps the wider economy too.
Seems to be a bit of buying ahead of the results which I suspect will not be very good.
There is a horrendous spread here, and the price can fly about like a mad man's excrement for no reason whatsoever (reflecting the small float). The last update was also rather non-committal. With a PER of 20, this may well not be a bargain.
However there is a yield of 3.5% as we stand, and the company will pay a special dividend of c8p when it sells the office block it is currently leasing out in London (probably in 2020). The company is well managed and conservatively run, with management showing good concern for their fellow investors. Could this be of interest to income seekers?
Here's my brief analysis http://bit.ly/2utgdUo
Knock, knock, anyone home? I've just bought into this share. Tumbleweed? Ghost town, Specials.
To have value here but how far is the retrace in sp? Tough markets could bring it down further. Ill keep an eye on it
Hopefully people will see this once the mist from MXO and CHA clears. Volume will move this big time!
Will out here. Got to be one of the safest nano caps on AIM.
Bought some more. Just like this morning. Not showing live on LSE. Must be hidden on ISDX
Thanks mate. A sign of how difficult the markets are at the moment that this hasn't gone up more than it has. Very good results and still trading only slightly above cash. Happy to sit on this one
between the MCAP and the results etc. should be in three figures for sure.
This should be valued in the pounds, not pennies!
