Colin: I don`t wish to pre-empt Hein`s further response to your complaint nor doubt his sincerity. But I am reminded of his advice to me that they were `in the process of migrating systems` when I wrote to complain about the obsolete info on our Home Page nearly two months ago. The wheels seem to be turning, but very slowly. Im pleased I posted the pair of email contact addresses, giving you someone to make direct contact with. Anyone else wishing to follow your example can find them by scrolling back 3 pages to my post of last Thursday at 15:14.
Please see below the repli I got from Fastjet to my complaint about the booking screen. My original complaint to them is below their reply. Dear Colin Thank you for your letter. We are in the process of ironing out all glitches; as one would expect a significant system change may have. Thereafter we would be able to load all material prepared. I will gladly keep you updated. Regards, Hein Dear Sir , I have just signed on to fastjet.com and was presented with a simple booking form. So what's wrong with that? Simple is good BUT IT DOES NOTHING TO PUSH THE COMPANY's image or competences. Where is the marketing, the destinations the links to schedules, Pathetic effort. Nico, please review this and take appropriate action. Many thanks in anticipation. You

WoW Fjetcrazy we should be busy then. I still feel however that 300%+ taxes on the fare is criminal, and can only conclude that the people who set the licence fees have an interest in the Bus Service and try to deter people from flying. Flying is for everyone not just the rich and powerful. Mozambique will make less money from fewer passengers and ****** significant growth unless they apply realistic and fair taxes.
Note with LAM its two stops we fly direct

Blimy oilguy, you know how many times I post with good info and get ZERO response?
Hi Oilyguy I have queried the same thing twice before, as each time they relist HRE-LUN it seems to happen initially. I don't believe It will actually happen until Fastjet officially say Zambia has approved it. I believe that they are being difficult. It looks like that the indications were it would be approved and they were put on sale and as it got closer the sale of tickets were pulled, presumably because said approvals had not yet materialised. The sale of tickets has started and stopped twice. I therefore think that it is not yet approved and probably those flights one way are a computer glitch. When the first passengers board and land, I will believe it.
Did my post not deserve a response for some reason?
It seems strange that Fastjet on Facebook claimed that the first Mozambique flight by today was to Beira, and also the press release by the Civil Aviation institute also said today the maiden flight to Mozambique was to Beira with Tete and Nampula to follow. According to the schedule and confirmed by Fjetcrazy the flight to Nampula was 6am this morning. Why then does all the publicity say the first flight was to Beira ?
Fastjet launches regular domestic passenger flights in Mozambique today, becoming the first foreign-owned company to do so, a Civil Aviation Institute spokesman has told Lusa. The operating license and certificate are held by Solenta Moambique, Francisco Cabo said. The parent company, South African Solenta Aviation, holds 28.48 percent of Fastjet, a British-South African consortium. This mornings maiden flight will connect from Maputo to the city of Beira, but services to Tete and Nampula will follow. Up until now, only the state-owned Linhas Areas de Moambique (LAM) has operated domestic flights, but management problems and lack of capacity have led to delays and rebooking. Solenta Aviation was founded in 2000 and is based in Johannesburg, South Africa. The company has already been flying in Mozambican airspace, providing services privately to international companies based in the country. The spokesperson for the Civil Aviation Institute of Mozambique explained that to operate on Mozambican domestic routes there is no need for a tender, provided the company is recognised by the Civil Aviation Institute. The calls for tenders are for international flight. Domestic flights are a concession, and companies only have to request it, he concluded.
It has often been the case other aircraft from Solenta are used BBH AND BBI are being used for Zim ops today
I wonder why as BBM has been sent to Service Mozambique as registered ZS-BBM is Part of Zimbabwe's fleet ot 2 BBM and BBH. Why has this been done, were we not told other aircraft were to be used. Will this affect our ability to expand in Zimbabwe as planned or is this a temporary fix ?
It was definitely BBM , 43 out , 41 back nice job
Pj I can assure you the flights operating today Ive asked my contact what aircraft reg if he gets back to me Ill let you know
good news but they should send out rns
Fjetcrazy on looking at the picture in big format it would appear that the picture in question is that of ZS-BBH which should be a HRE to JNB flight
Last minute stragglers, got up late, Fj -- I hope.
Pj . Apparently all operating out of Maputo today , just not showing on flight radar, non of the ERJ flights do , they seem to register as ( unknown) once the schedule departure time passes,
https://twitter.com/allexandremz/status/926376197235380224 First flight out of Maputo today, hope they were not the only two passengers on it
