They probably do PJ , you would think awareness of how it works would be the case by now but I guess it will take more time for our esteemed customers to spread the word.
Fjetcrazy I myself know and understand all that, what I am saying is reading the Facebook posts leads me to believe that there is a large number of people who do not understand that LCC's use a dynamic pricing model that increases with reduced availability. I think that some people believe all seats are at the from headline price.
Prices are currently artificially high due to lack of flights, with less availability flights are full and prices sky high, this is not the case when schedules are operating normally, low fares , cheapest in the industry still available booked way ahead of travel.
i will love to know the reason behind all the cancellation.
It would seem from a lot of Facebook feedback from customers that they believe we are not giving the prices that we advertise. We must make it clear to avoid people spreading the word that nobody gets the advertised prices as the Facebook replies seem to indicate. It must be made clear go to the website, book the day where the price suits what you are willing to pay, pay for it straight away, and that is the price you will pay. RE-Affirm the earlier you book, the cheaper price and be clear, plus taxes if not included.
Elton, I did say the wed service was cancelled weeks ago, the increase from two to four services per week has been rolled forward to end of the month, it also looks like only four flights to operate in total out of DAR tomorrow, I’m out of patience with Fjet.
dar -es-salaam
The only dad airport I can find is Da Nang in Vietnam so that cannot be right
we flying today dar-hre and from Harare to Lusaka and Lusaka to dad interesting, that is the news I received anyone has more information?

Which route were they talking about??
fastjet fastjet Hi Fazila , we would love to take up that route one day. Stay tuned on our website on www.fastjet.com and look out for the latest updates and you may be surprised...wink emoticon;-) .SC.
I see from my last post that the en dash also gets corrupted, from a `long hyphen` to the pound sign. So (and I`m testing here!) the apostrophe comes out like this while the double quotes like this
JT16 [14:34]: Regrettably I have been out all day since before lunch, hence this very late response to your post which demands a response. I admit I was possibly wrong criticising Fjetcrazy for using an acronym which I just found irritating but that was between him and me and, hopefully, we have sorted it out reasonably amicably. I shall learn to get used to it! Only you and one or two others maybe would accuse me of dictating just by expressing my honest thoughts. But glad it makes you laugh! Come to think of it, there is no point in even trying to defend myself to you since you are one of those who just relies on gross exaggeration if not lies, by describing ``every one of my posts [being] littered with typos``. Yes I do miss a few now and again and no-one is more annoyed than me by the system faults that are creeping in and seem unavoidable enough in themselves to prevent me from posting much more! At least you seem to recognise them for what they are. Fjetcrazy also suffers from the apostrophe glitch which turns into a pound sign. But far worse is the corruption of the double quotes, though not always I now note. Fine in my post of 22:56 last night, but complete with gremlins next time at 12:35 yesterday, appearing, as you correctly requoted, as 1 I hope LSE will get them sorted out soon if they are able to. Meanwhile, if I can remember, I shall resort to using the grave accent as a poor substitute!
are on the point of crossing the 3000 posts mark, one with only sixty or so to go, and another is coming up fast. It could be a close finish. I know where my money is. The amount of time and energy put into this race surely deserves some sort of reward. Im willing to chip in towards the cost of the prize for the winner.. Anyone got any suggestions. I thought maybe a model of one of the Fastjet planes in full livery, a leather-bound copy of the Fastjet timetable and past flight magazines, or perhaps some more Fastjet shares to tuck away in the bottom drawer.
Just a quick hello in answer to Fjetcrazy's call for more posts. Family issues (now resolved), and my taking on the role of Parish Clerk (temporary but looking permanent!) and being elected treasurer at my bowls club have kept me away from the board. I do still look in though. It is good to read the posts of the gang, with Marksman and Fjetcrazy being favourites.
Fri and Monday services operating as normal, the planned additional flights keep getting rolled forward.
