Travel Update | Fastjet Zimbabwe
As a result of the continued COVID-19 travel restrictions, the recommencement of scheduled flights is postponed until 01 September 2020.
Let’s put it this way.... we’re in buying now. Despite all the sales today it’s proven hard to buy this stock
Breakfree; "No it’s just that we know something that has not been released yet". Here we go again, I know something that you don't comments. I am still holding on to my 2mill + shares and enjoying the ride at the races.
No it’s just that we know something that has not been released yet.....better than a good day at the races
Breakfree im amazed you think posters on this BB have any significant sway over the SP. Bit naive.
On a positive note are you are being unusually courteous today. You been smoking Js all day or something?
Wheresallmemoney.......maybe if you had not tried to be clever the price would have continued up. Heho lot to be said for still tongs. Enjoy the rest of your day.
And Fjet is still here July, Aug, Sep and beyond. Watch this space
Hopefully that RNS will drop tomorrow for the update
Breakfree. Given the delay to start of flights, could you please explain why the price as no plummeted as you would of forecast?
Showing some nice support at this level over this week, methinks news of funding and flying again to come with a good opportunity to come out with some nice profit in the end...
Perfect time for a RNS GL
Good morning all, let's hope we have a good day here today share price seem to be stable around this level but it would be nice to see 0.20 again? Good luck all
Pay up Sunshine .
Save us from Destruction.
Best of
Just waiting for finance news now and up we go to 1.00 + pence. Just a bit more patience required. The company said it will honour all customers and creditors commitments and flexible booking to 30 Nov which means the company knows more than us. We should have an RNS update tomorrow and we should get a better insight of the situation. Govt bailout is a very high possibility besides the consortium talk led by Solenta the major shareholder and creditor
There have been many delays over the years this airline has been trying to take off. But flights have taken off and landed. The fact that they are still going makes me think that someone still loves them. How much? I don't know
A lot may have happened but the stated intention has not. If you’re saying it has please show this. But repeatedly they state “deinvestment “
How do you see this is there stated intention is a “franchise house”?
Old news buddy, I think you'll find a lot has happened between January and today.
The landscape is completely different, news out a few hours ago

It scares me how high this could;d go once positive news drops, They're not going to let this fail as they need it to keep the countries mobile as part of the recovery. They have the appetite to support as you can see below
https://www.executivetraveller.com/news/south-african-airways-bailout
People are posting on here about the a future long term airline... fastjet have stated this is not there intention if they get the funding through
Interesting observation from a poster on advfn regarding the update from FJet is that it was updated at 3pm today...which means the UK market was still open and the sp for FJet was not affected....If this update was deemed sufficiently bad news then surely the sp would have fallen. So maybe something else is going on in the background?
We think this clearly sums up the future proposal...
Meanwhile, the proposal to restructure is aimed at becoming a capital light business operating as a franchise house that would earn revenue through the Fastjet brand and provide airline management solutions, while also continuing to hold its investment in the FedAir business.
This means there won’t be a fastjet airline as such owned by fastjet. But a prospective franchise
Fedair is only charter taxi with planes being leased when needed. . IF the tourist market picks up again.
So all the talk about flights restarting would become irrelevant if the deal does go through as they would go to Solenta.
Flexible booking policy extended until 30 November 2020.
