Thanks for that FJetcrazy, do we know if it is just regular maintenance of BBH prior to the surge in flights from the end of this month when we will be operating 2 aircraft presumably BBH and BBD which hopefully will both have a parrot on the tailplane.. Happy Birthday Marksman from me too.
Happy Birthday Marksman! Looks like something is happening here at long last. Look forward to some more rises, still sitting on a significant loss, but that's gradually being eroded away. Three things that could further boost the share price in the short term. An announcement on expansion "in the process of evaluating expansion options to further geographies and looks forward to making further announcements in due course" - trading statement 30th June. RNS detailing director share buys. H1 results. Will still obviously be a loss but could be the smallest half yearly loss to date and show evidence that fastjet has financially turned the corner with a reaffirmation of break even by end of this year.
Happy birthday from me also Marksman. I don't post often but have always appreciated the genuine offerings from the seriously interested members of this board. The value of my holdings has increased by £3K in the last fortnight, but like many of us; still have a long way to go. BTW: did you get a birthday card from nuri123?
Thank you, Fjetcrazy.
Happy Birthday Marksman!
as I posted, it clicked up to almost 14% up.
Almost the best news I could’ve had – on my birthday!!! Maybe at over 11%, it IS. Since posting earlier, I have spent most of it in Buckingham Palace! Or to be more accurate, The Queen’s Gallery, seeing the extensive Canaletto Exhibition. Excellent. (And to avoid any risk of pathos, I do have close family with whom I’ll be celebrating on Sunday.)
+ 11.39 % into close, best volume in weeks.
PJ ZS-BBD is in solenta Aviation logo now on its fourth rotation of the day currently on route 1424HRS Departure JNB HRE, currently on radar
Marksman, let's hope it will be a slow and steady trend upwards for once!

The actual trades are currently being bought/sold at 20.7p/20.0p. Both Google and Yahoo (provider of prices in the standard ITunes stock App) have been showing incorrect prices for fastjet for a couple of weeks now. I also have no idea why. However, there seems a definite upward trend of the fastjet shareprice at the moment.
Why google showing sp as 0.00p?
Fjetcrazy: You were right with your forecast and decision to top-up. Well done on your timing. Another healthy rise of 2.5% this morning already. And good to see it rising above 20p at last.
ZS-BBD
It now looks like a more stable platform is in place and a now it is obvious that a big push is happening to increase passenger numbers. Hopefully the increase in advertising pays off.
In Zimbabwe for the last few days, does anyone know ?
Slight tick up in right direction
We seem to have cut prices on all Tanzanian routes from today.Hopefully just a blip

https://twitter.com/fastjet/status/884359278160642048 ---- Hi Peter, We have cut that route due to reshuffle and hope to add it back in the near future! Stay posted and we will notify all.
Taskmaster, the mind boggles on this one, if and only if, Solenta succeeds and SAA express do liquidate, you can bet your bottom dollar Fjet will be taking up the slack in SA
Hi. What happened to the Kenya route? How many planes are in ooeration at the moment? Thanks
I'm expecting a slight tick up in S P this week and have added to my holding here this am.
