That our customers can fly from LUN to HRE, but not as yet HRE to LUN what is the problem with getting people back home. is that Zimbabwe has approved it but not Zambia ?
The fact that we have not operated the 2 nd JRO service does indicate that we are short of trained up E190 pilots, it will be interesting to see if we operate tonight s Harare/ should that be the case we are almost back to normal ops
Not yet, they taking bookings from 12 DEC , those pror to this date have been pulled
for Harare to Lusaka trip?
good news Jro
JRO is operating today so my guess is that few weeks ago they were taking bookings for the two services per day which are scaled back to one so they are genuinely SOLD OUT
If JRO flights operating tomorrow then yes we are sold out, if however non operating , to me it confirms crew shortages and JRO the most cost effective to cut back/canx , lets see what happens tomorrow.
to have had 2 flights each to Mbeya, Kili and Mwanza and cut 1 Mwanza flight as none are sold out and we are sold out for 3 days to Kili ?
Update to my previous post 3 x Mwanza 2 x Mbeya 1 x JRO
Yes we operated 1 x JRO 2x Mwanza 2 x Mbeya 18 DEC is the date the second JRO is planned to be reinstated
or not for what i can see we did, please help
Type in the aircraft registrations and search tap arrow for recent flights
We have sent you email at customer@fastjet.com, copied to TCAA CC and Hon. Minister with names of 30 people whom you cancelled a flight...
sorry fastjet I am not able to track it down own my app flight24 who do you search it.
Both currently available to track , one in Mwanza one Mbeya, so Im guessing any shortfall is indeed down to crewing levels , so far today we have operated one Mbeya and two Mwanza
FJI showing on flightradar24 today
It Seems that Fast jet have done a "RYANAIR" on their staffing for the E190 ? It could of course be a result of the delay In Civil Aviation authorisation to fly, and the crew could not hang about any longer with an indefinite start time and took full pay now jobs. Given it was a block booking by an agency, it would have been much better to have subbed it out , as when you cause an agencies reputation with their client to be damaged, you leave yourself open to litigation. They will also be reluctant to use us again the near future due to further risk to THEIR REPUTATION.
Really no excuse the shareholders have backed Nico to the hilt and he has come up short with the introduction of the E90 He should have anticipated a lot of what has happened needs to take his jacket off spend some time in Tanzania putting right his mess
There is no availability on JRO until Sunday, this backs up the comments on social media, with two E190,s there is no excuse for this , we are left guessing what the F is going on, I have my haunch and pretty much think this is an internal Fastjet problem
Absolutely... Sumatra would have cracked down any BUS doing this kind of thing on a daily basis!! But @fastjet gets away with it all the time!! PJ it is very legitimate, the problem seems to come from two JRO services being amalgamated into one service, a booking of 40 plus through an events agency has been disrupted and they are fuming. I have had a video sent to me of FJI in service but its strange that we are unable to track any of her flights, B737 has definitely gone back to SA. I am also hearing we are very short of crew for E190 , do not know if this is correct but it would not surprise me if it were. On a brighter note the flights are CHOCCA
It seems to be only JRO doesn't make sense ac MZA and MBI are flying as normal surely they should be able to facilitate at least one flight I can't believe that they would just cancel both flights
Cannot see which flights are supposed to be cancelled is this complaint Legit ?
We will need to stick to our schedule for a very long time to win the trust of the Tanzanianew People after this debacle. We do not want to be known as the Airline who makes promises but does not deliver.
