O Donnell to Mr matador. ..we buy shares. We buy FFwd. ...we buy but not sure why we buy. ...we buy FFwd we buy Mr matador.
O Donnell so you always like to speak to people rather than a machine. ....lol. ....the brokers must think they are talking to a machine talking to you. ......we are the Borg. ..
All the institutions were waiting for was a Series B valuation.
Go for it, man - pour encourager les autres....
That's mine. Not a huge amount but i'm sure it'll be worth twice that within a short while...
ADM
They give us the spread on both stocks and options and we quote a price to deal at if we are happy, we set the price we will deal at just either way of the middle price. It is settled within seconds.
Sometimes the MM will come back at a slightly higher/lower price to our stated price and we split the difference to trade if we want to.
99.5% of the time we do trade at the mid price of what they come back with and of what we said we would trade at.
This especially is the case with Option deals more than physical stocks.
We can also leave a "specific" price to either sell/buy at which is either "good for the day" or "Good until settled" If it it outside the current quoted range.
There are a few small stocks they have to physically speak to the broker to trade.
We have not tried to trade by the computer, not that we have any objections to that, but always like to speak to someone rather than a machine, but we are old (approaching our 80s) and ancient!!! with less than 47 yrs to live.
FFWD
Pleased to note no sellers at the moment. Think those who will be buying or buying back in, following their sale yesterday are just waiting to see if it retreats further.
Once (If) one or two decent buys go in (50k+) then the others will follow (hopefully) . Doubt it will go above 11.5 until news arrives. Our guess the mid price will be just below 11p give or take when the buyers return.
If there is RNS the MM will adjust price accordingly before anyone can get in at the previous price prior to the NEWS, regardless of the time of the news. But quite often the MM does not go high / low enough which gives those who want to deal some leeway initially.
However surprises occur which can make our guesses appear stupid.
Patient is required by all, but there will no doubt be be a lot of price swings what ever happens
THIS IS NOT FFWD RELATED
HOWEVER...
If you're in any doubt as to the advances/progression in pharma available today then read this.
Both patients received Marrow and or Stem cells from people naturally resistant to the HIV virus.
Whilst not practical for treating most people it still gives hope in finding a cure for this and other diseases.
astounding really.
Where there was no hope, hope was found.

All the more reason not to faff about waiting to get in a penny cheaper when you could be in at 10p
Often, the difficulty arises because other trades are going through the automated system simultaneously. They usually clear and things return to normal in a few minutes, but by that time punters have often become excited, think something is up and post on what turns out to be a non-event. On another matter, looks like we are off to another cracking start today....
Which broker do you use O'Donnell?
Most people trade online these days, and that’s when you sometimes get a no trade automatically and people say it’s difficult to get a price. You can then place an order with the broker which will usually get filled fairly quickly, but I suspect many are less keen on doing that as you do not know the exact price you will get, although you can specify a minimum price.
We have noted a couple of times on here, that it has been said it is "difficult to get a price or buy FFWD" We have never had any problems like that even at times when others say they have. Is because they trade on line or is it the Dealer they trade through or perhaps the quantity they wish to deal? Even first thing in the morning and last thing in the afternoon we have had no problems.
This is not the only share we have seen this complaint about. We do not buy very large amounts which may help and our dealer never has a problem getting a price.
The only time we have struggled with a price is when dealing an Option that is not widely traded.
Have a read through this f you're bored.

When you realise this is just one company which services other companies and governments and read how they're trying to "Build Trust" which is a motto shared by Factom.
You might come to the realisation that a quick 10% isn't worth the risk.
"EY collaborates with organizations such as SAP, Microsoft, IBM, Adobe, Blackline, Pega and ServiceNow to create pioneering solutions, powered by leading and emerging technologies, including AI, blockchain, Internet of Things and cybersecurity."
Peers too, might one enquire?
March 14th in your diaries ladies
The Gila Monster Lizard was one of the key factors in their development. From what I hear it never took well to human use due to adverse side effects. Is the company in question past these problems?
Actually, they aren’t now a hypothetical, I know a company that’s developing them now and will be in widespread use very soon...
Admit it you’ve never heard the term have you?
Calorie restriction mimetics, also known as energy restriction mimetics, are a hypothetical class of dietary supplements or drug candidates that would, in principle, mimic the substantial anti-aging effects that calorie restriction has on many laboratory animals and humans.
Note the word hypothetical in the above paragraph. If someone actually created these, there would a decent chance of a good return for anyone invested...agree?
Cheers Doggo. Look forward to reading it in full. Portage is another great company with a great portfolio.
Got it at 330pm today but saw the sellers so thought I’d just hold it back..
Will be on tomorrow
I beat them to it
Where did you find it Doggo? Can't see it on their website.
As you may or may not know Portage BOD and major shareholders are Intensity Therapeutics BOD and major shareholders
Here’s an interesting snippet...
Business plan
Portage is in the business of licensing, researching and developing potential drug candidates. The Company would like to assemble a portfolio of products: diversified as to their stage of development and pathology. Then inexpensively take them through to phase 2b clinical trial often called proof of concept (“POC”).
Upon a successful POC we will monetize the products through sale or license to big Pharma.
We are seeking discovery and co-development partners in areas such as cancer, infectious disease, neurology and psychiatry developing novel targeted therapies, stem cell therapy and even older marketed products that have been found to have novel patentable characteristics that bring new value to patients.
The goal is to grow Portage by carefully selecting compelling products to license, acquire or position as a joint venture. The product portfolio will be carefully selected to be at various stages in drug development but with an overriding characteristic of being attractive to large pharmaceutical companies. Portage has a strong team with extensive experience in drug development that will be leveraged to source the aforementioned products, to undertake the due diligence and guide them through drug development to monetization.
