Ridiculous Price
Exactly lordsnooty. Always worth remembering that whilst we are down here in the trenches
Agreed, and in addition, unless it's a firesale, in the case of our portfolio the sale of assets would likely realise well in excess of the last-published NAV.
Nice find Mat. Just the tonic investors need right now. Germany the biggest market in Europe.
I saw alot of messages about the relationship between nav and our current sp last week. I agree that what the market decides our current sp to be is down to them as well as investors sentiment. But.... When the sp is where it is I think its important to reflect on nav because after all, if we were to sell everything... And have out money back... We are getting 12p ish Everyone agree with that basic mindset?
Yep this is great news. This will all be about who gets to market first. And there will be loads of competition So emmac need to move quick. I'm expecting them to IPO this year
Very significant Matador...a very nice find
It's growth and reach.
It's a hell of a lot better than reporting they're not importing cannabis into Germany
isn't this just a subsidiary of the parent co' though?
They have decided to incorporate in Germany, which is good, but nothing here for us at the moment... it's a bit like saying I've registered a company to sell cars....and calling it rob's cars, this wont make revenue alone. Theres still plenty of work ahead. But hey, It's nice to see our investees actually communicating....

We've got Germany
As robrob said earlier, looks like some arbitraging - the volume is incrementally larger than usual:

Strange going on,s yesterday with FCT yesterday was looking at a few graphs and around 17.30 it dropped around 25% from 10 dollars to around 7 1/2 dollars then soon after a quick turn round like the rest of the crypto’s to jump to over 11 dollars, the drop could of been just a blip as many crypto’s have done this before, I’m not going to read anything into it as crypto’s can just be so volatile
Some remarkably cogent and lucid posts from you yesterday, many of which I agree with. No sense in fussing over selling part of Vemo for a small loss, it was marked down in the last NAV anyway, and if the cash can be put to work elsewhere soon, so much the better. Clearly Abony has his beady eye on something in the dope line that catches his fancy, and wants to be in like the proverbial rat up a drainpipe, to mix a few ill-chosen metaphors.
I don't foresee much downside from here, there's still lots still to play for at FFWD - no need to rehearse the names again. Ut Fidem!
Socati – a pioneer in the development of hemp genetics, cannabinoid science, and disruptive extraction and purification technology – today announced it has closed a second round of funding from private investors. The capital will be used to bring operations to manufacturing scale, securing Socati’s place as a primary high-volume processor of THC-free full-spectrum hemp.
“We are excited to announce this successful newest round of funding as it shows the intense interest investors have in the space and the growth potential of the market,” said Josh Epstein, CEO at Socati. “This capital gives us the ability to bring ourselves up to scale and provide leading consumer goods companies with a reliable, superior product that meets the growing demand for hemp extracts, including CBD and other cannabinoids, in consumer products.”
Socati initially raised $9 million in seed funding, followed by its most recent $33 million round of funding, announced today. Investors in the second round include:
Lorne Abony, Founder and CEO of Mood Media, Fun Technologies, Nuuvera and Petopia.com.
Jim Mellon, European billionaire biotech investor and chairman of both Juvenescence AI Limited and The Burnbrae Group.
JJR Private Capital Inc., a private capital firm that specializes in financing and advising companies in the financial services, healthcare and consumer goods industries.
JJR.....
Indeed Snoot you appear on my wavelength for once.
"Following the passage of the U.S. Farm Bill, hemp and its derivatives, extracts and cannabinoids, including hemp CBD, are no longer classified as Schedule I substances and are now federally legal. The market for products containing CBD was estimated to be $591 million in 2018 and projected to increase nearly 40 times to $22 billion by 2022, according to Brightfield Group research. Hemp CBD is also in line with the longer-term health and wellness trend that continues to drive consumer demand."
They have sold the seed-1 shares for a slight loss of ~$80k but importantly held onto the seed-2 shares that as you all know enjoy significantly preferential conversion rights over seed-1.
Will be interesting to see their enhanced value when they complete the premium fund raise.
Think people are jumping the gun and drawing incorrect conclusions about what’s happened.
They obviously needed the money instantly to add to their cash which sits at around £1.2 million for a near term investment in cannabis (Socati imo)
Sellers today will regret their error.
I think you're right Robrob it's the piggyback off Bitcoin from yesterday.
It's arbitrage between platforms only. Traders have found an option to buy low on one exchange and sell higher on another that's all . For a moment I thought it was news!
Up 22%+ on the day so far. Could be just crypto euphoria - or something's up Factomwise as you say, Matador.
Barwickman. I spent half a day trying to research yooya. I got know where fast! Their stats are the same as they were probably a year ago. So... Next time your over in Asia drinking your many beers, tell us what you see as we are all hiding behind a Chinese wall over here!
Robrob. As I said earlier. I cannot blame the board. Perception is the key word and right now.... As we all know, and demonstrated by the sells in a daily basis, perception is poor right now. If they give updates on the pf. Sp won't move. Market has demonstrated what it wants. So we are all feeling battered and bruised right now. With no exceptions. We are all negative here and so there is no point in us being negative... We are already in negative!i But I genuinely believe this won't be forever. But we probably have some more pain to go through yet. It all depends how long you are investing for. Will you sell at breakeven? I won't be. Not a chance. If we can scale in time on the back of some profitable sell offs... Then there are so many possibilities. Just got to have patience... A lot of it
Chills I think you will find that Yooya is more than a one man band , you can find the basics by going on google or twitter , it’s been growing year on year, I’ve only just got back this morning from Asia and I’m not jumping on a plane back over there till next week so I suggest you might like to do a bit of research for a change lol, anyway jet lags got the better of me catch you tomorrow , oh my point of view was Yooya might have a good chance of success, remember it’s a start up not a stock, but you never know an IPO might be on the cards GLA
yes good point Chils, possibly Bod don't see anything wrong in what they are doing, its all perception I guess to ones perspective. It was good to talk it out with you thanks.

May might prove exciting after all. Worth having a look at Factoms trajectory today. Somethings stirring.
