very good Doggo, what I'm saying its deffo for over the pond that's all, would still like to see some up to date revenue figures on Leap as we've been told there not in profit yet
What I would like to happen...
Following a strategic portfolio review, the Board of FastForward innovations Limited has concluded that their non- Cannabis Portfolio is materially undervalued in FFWD’s current structure and requires a distinct, separate focus to release its true value.
The Board therefore announces its intention to progress a demerger of the non-cannabis assets in a new entity structured to permit quotation on a recognised stock exchange, subject to regulatory and shareholder approvals, as required.
Each FFWD shareholder to receive one share in newco per share in FFWD.
Resolution 4 provides authority for the Company to issue new shares representing 100 per cent. of the Company's issued ordinary shares as at today's date, while Resolution 5 (a special resolution) provides that equity securities issued in accordance with Resolution 4 may be issued free from the rights of pre-emption contained within the New M&As (if adopted)
EDR the 2nd largest holders of Leap are a $7billion company and their casino & slots PF is entirely made up of Leap products. The Leap virtuals are fully integrated within their IMGArena Event centre, they will create a licensed virtual for all their sports.
Leap have more casino & slot games than virtual sports.
888 yearly chart is incredible for a £1billion+ company. Entain chart is even more impressive moving from £3billion to £10billion MCAP.
Both long term partners of Leap.
What point are you making?
Leap is a global business
Leap provides high-end virtual games for online, mobile and retail markets. Through strong partnership with gaming operators worldwide, we deliver diverse, immersive and innovative virtual sports betting and casino content wrapped in state-of-the-art user interfaces. So no need to worry about the UK market. IMG Arena who already own 22% are a large US Company, who may well buy FFWD’s shares in Leap. I don’t think they are late to the party in fact it’s hardly started with the rapid growth that is taking place.
i just hope Leap aren't to late arriving at the party, 888 results yesterday not great but its what it said is worrying, others followed with SP drops as well, i just don't think the virtual gaming setup is for the UK, casinos and slots will always attract punters , that's why the big boys in the UK have been snapped up or moved to the USA, if there is a market that's where it is in the US and I'm sure most of us know that, there's a bit in the money part about 888 in the daily mail.
There was a Telegram group - there still is but it went private/invite only after the members shared Google Docs of accumulated holdings.
There are some posts on Stocktwits about joining the private group if you scroll down a little.
For the few here that don't know, Portage recently went fairly quickly back up to 40 (where it had reached pre-Nasdaq ), then a fundraise was announced a couple weeks ago at around 23 dollars. Obviously, 23 may have seemed better when they were discussing terms when the market was at 29 but there a lot of unhappy shareholders feeling it was discounted far too much, sold to those mates that had yet to get in and regular shareholders shafted. Shorters probably adding to the drop. There's talk of a floor around 18. Difficult stock to do longterm chart analysis on, for the obvious reasons.
Long term it has a great future and, assuming they don't pay out monster dividends (like they did when they spun-out Biohaven) and keep the share price in the current range, a share price of $100-200 is totally feasible within the next few years based on current mcap.
I am sure FFWD will be kept in the loop re. Portage. After all, Greg Bailey and Jim Mellon are friends and are also involved in Juvenescence together.
Thanks pirate flag and Barwickman, have download that app PF, Be interested in the Twitter link BM, following the company on there, but never see much posted. Stocktwits could be useful thanks guys
JK there is a few write ups on Twitter , but don’t want to say to much as it might sound like sour grapes lol,
Gunner, try yahoo & stocktwits boards for prtg.
FFWD did the sensible thing by selling part of their holding at around the top. If they felt it did have a future then continue to hold part of your holding
Price drop, it is our guess that some started taking big profits (like some one called FFWD) at around 40 then others followed thinking we had better get out before it has dropped to below what we paid, like any with any stock market price collapse. The question now is was it worth 40, if not what is it worth? if it is worth 40 then you buy back in once it has settled.
As we said sell at the top buy at the bottom, simples!!!
It looks as though the BOD are not doing too bad at all, regardless as to what some thought in the past.
Be very pleased if we settle at 9p Friday evening.
I know RNSs news of course, But doesn’t seem to be any chat boards etc not much on Twitter
I also hold portage, but not easy finding news on it like ffwd. How do you gain access to the long story and news feeds?
that's part of the long story Duke, but that's life :-)
long story, around 50% down in past couple of weeks, could be a while before it starts to tick back up.
Portage taken a big hit today, anyone know why?
I completely agree with your logic; let’s hope so! Either way, Leap news can’t be to far off! ????
no one has a Scoobydoo what the deal will be :-)
There's the smoke but is there fire ? Would be nice if that is the case.
If so, Consideration for Leap with Endeavor shares + cash combo perhaps?
I do not think this is going to IPO. Ed McDermott joined the board of Leap back in December to take it to a sale or IPO. IMG Arena also have a manager on the board of Leap. IMG Arena always refer to the Leap virtual and games as the IMG virtuals and games. Leap even use the IMG Arena address for their contact information. https://leap-gaming.com/contact-us/
I may be wrong, but I believe this deal is done and is coming soon. On Friday FFWD are to rebrand as a pure cannabis play
If Leap is to ipo in qtr3 as Ed says, I’d expect some sort of announcement within the next 6 weeks, obviously it takes time to attract investors and put together the prospectus, therefore news before the end of August! Nice little tick up today
Good point Llad.
Btw - anyone clued on as to whether Ffwd is in the money and if so by how much w.r.t Yooma.
Scoobydoo321
Orph went from 6p to 48p under a ceo who came in roughly the same time as Ed took the reins here...so in comparison one had increased by 700% whilst the other has returned 0% to shareholders. In fact even after the last months absolute carnage at orph it’s share price is still up 300%.....we can only dream of that here
Better to be prepared for a small rise after Leap IPO, then be delighted if it is a big rise, than be too optimistic and then be disappointed if the rise is not so big as you hoped for.
We have had disappointments over the last 6 or so years, perhaps we are due a really very good result.
Nice to see the buyers back after those sales that were recorded as unknown. If we can reach 9p and hold there for a few days then we may be starting to see SP rise.
What is need is more publicity regards cannabis and the fact the only way people can get in to it easily and in many cannabis firms is by buy investing in to FFWD.
