Thanks very much. As usual you seemed to have unearthed far more than I did last evening. Read about the kx machine learning - all sounds very good and ahead of the competitors. The dementia detection might be useful here soon! LOL. I see that it is quite volatile, but it always looks worse to me with a high value share. You have done very well with your low entry points - I have some funds coming free very soon, so hopefully will get in here. Games Workshop is certainly working out OK - nice steady rise over the last few weeks. Thanks again for the info - I will try not to tap you up for anymore in the very near future! All the Best. DK
Hi Dalekid! No bother at all I am the Pied Piper lol . Dale it has shot up but there is still value in this. This will be a 1 billion Mcap in a short time I have no doubt about it. What is driving the increase Dale? From the other board: First Derivatives Traction in new vertical. A press release this morning indicates that San Francisco based Scientific Revenue has selected First Derivatives (FD) Kx platform to power its machine learning based dynamic pricing application. Currently serving the mobile gaming industry, the Scientific Revenue application needs to track the behaviour of millions of app users per day. An ambition however, to expand into desktop gaming, subscription-based broadcast content, OTT video and loyalty programs, and thus potentially requiring the ability to handle billions of price events per day, would appear to be at the root of FD's selection, providing further validation of product scale and performance. Ahead of the release of FD's H1'18 results on November 7th we view the release this morning as significant in that it : (i) demonstrates the application of the underlying kdb+ database in yet another new vertical - gaming; and (ii) replaces an incumbent, Amazon Redshift, viewed as one of the newer providers of scalable data analytics platforms. They recently also have a collaboration to detect dementia. As someone said if they ever list on Nasdaq it will go stratospheric Bear points. It had a strong run to date and can drop one or two quid in minutes. On a very high p/e. Results coming in a week so will have to justify the p/e I bought here at 1360p and again when it fell to 1160p and was going to sell at 16. I love the story so much and was so enamoured at the last results I averaged up at 25 with a TP of 31. I am still holding all I am glad to say! BTW your tip on Games workshop was great!
Hi Falling. I am not stalking you, I promise. I had a look at this one in September and again in early October, but missed the fairly obvious signs last week! Typical. It does look pretty good, although I have only done some basic research. Is there anything in particular driving this increase in sp or is it just the good financial performance over the past years and likely good news at the upcoming interims? Sorry to tap you for info, it's a bit cheeky, but I fancy time might be quite short to get in on this one. Just about to delve a little further myself, but any opinions would be much appreciated. All the Best. DK
This little share is a topper. It just gives and gives.
Amazing how quiet this board is. It`s the dogs which seem to attract all the chatter. Been here since 2009 when I made my first purchase a 1.50. Been adding ever since as results have justified. I agree that with Fallingknife we should be at a billion cap. soon. I think the institutions are waking up. Goodness knows what it would be worth on NASDAQ.
Hit my target with a week to spare. However given that a broker has put a 41 target on this beauty I won't be selling anytime soon. The potential here is enormous and we will soon be looking at a billion pounds Mcap.
Took a bit longer than I expected. Interims are November 7th and I expect we will see 35 by then. The momentum since 27.50 has been huge.
C'mon fess up. You know u been following it.
again and quite rightly too. Their excellent contracts should start to feed through to the bottom line. I think the fall below £30 has been overdone and we are gaining upward momentum here. I see 10% upside from here.
and investors paying up to full ask going into the close.. I revise my target upwards to £33 near term and £35 over a medium horizon. When this tech gets applied to other industries it will be a game changer. Excellent hold!
5p away from £30 today. All but inevitable that we will hit that magic figure! Really strong buying momentum and plenty more to come from this beauty. The vertical integration to other markets has barely begun.
On the back of the results Goodbody Stockbrokers has increased its full-year 2018 revenue and earnings expectations by 10 per cent and 4 per cent, respectively, to £177 million and £32 million. Lots of buys today and the price hasn;t budged. I am back in for more if we drop tomorrow.
After latest updates. Should be £30 by now as it continues to be a cash cow. I would welcome a dip as a buyong opportunity A share split might reduce some of the volatility and lack of liquidity.
Sorry, I should have phrased that better. First Derivatives bought 15% of 3DEO. A geo-spatial startup in Belfast.

fufty1 How did you manage to buy 3DEO?
Certainly seems to have fallen off the radar since the price has risen. Glad to see it on the up. Bought 25% more on Monday. Big way to go with this company. Bought 15% of a startup called 3DEO as well according to companies house which looks promising. I assume that is in relation to the proposed work for Airbus.
I am sure he must have revised his opinion on this. One of the best shares around and doing all the right things. Still mileage in this one even at these levels.
On the up and up!
Look at all those buys on 3/11 and now an RNS tells us why. Looking good!
which saw a big rise, a pause and now off again. When this moves, it moves in bounds! It won't be long before we hit £25 as this one is a cash machine. Strong buy!
eat your heart out!
More than double your target price and has come off highs of £22, Let'a face it Wexboy you are way off-beam here. This has been climbing strongly and is set to go back over £20. Goodbody the broker has a target price of £26 so nice upside if they are correct.
Did you sell when you shouldn't have and now you are trying to rip the company to shreds through false facts? Expect this company to double its' market cap again in the next couple of years.
Not sure what your motivation is here Wexboy but you seem to be distorting facts to built a case which suits whatever your purpose is. For example, 'FDP got nearly sliced in half'.....No, it didn't, it lost 35% of its value in the first half of 2014 when the share price went from 1377 down to 899. You must be trying to load up here!
